Regal Cinebarre Greenwood Plaza

The bad reviews seem to be a bit over-critical of this place. We used to go the old United Artists GP 12 a few years ago (also operated by Regal) and were excited to see the new Regal Cinebarre open up this week. We were greeted immediately as we entered and kindly guided as to how the theater worked. The lobby and restrooms were nicely remodeled. Unfortunately, it is a sit and serve model, so there is no concession stand. We were greeted quickly by our server, Devin, and we ordered popcorn (one-size, large $8.50), a Dasani water bottle, and a soda. Everything was brought out in about 10 minutes during the previews. Make sure to get here early for service because once the movie starts, you will have to order from the bar.

The major downside of this theater is the seats. No large luxury recliners here, like the nearby UA Park Meadows or Regal Southglenn. The seats are big, padded nicely with padded armrests, and the back reclines a little, but they aren't as comfortable as Regal's other nearby theaters. Also, the bar-top table design is annoyingly far from the seats. The theater now serves food in trays, so you can have it at your seat. It seems that Regal wanted to make the seating design as convenient as possible for the servers with the half-level between rows of seats. I wish that Regal had focused more on the customer-experience in terms of the seating, it could have been much better.

Overall, it's a good theater, far from the worst theater in the metro as an other reviewer commented, but I wish that Regal had used it's luxury recliners with a large swivel table like what they have at the Cinebarre West Town Mall in Tennessee or the nearby AMC Southlands 16 in Aurora.

Pros: Newly remodeled, big auditoriums, good sound system, great staff, seats are comfortable, good location

Cons: No concession stand, no luxury recliners, very awkward bar-top set-up.

Avatar 2 was the L O N G E S T movie my kiddos (teens) could have chosen, but the experience wasn't so bad.
Full bar (altitude and a southern girl, doesn't have room for alcohol, but those drinks looked amazing) and menu. The food was pretty good. However, the service was spectacular. We did visit a 3pm showing on a Tuesday, but the lady walked up to scan my online purchase and directed us to the theater. Our server, Tyler (I believe), was super patient and extremely helpful. Thank you again if you see this!
The restrooms were nice and clean.
The seats were well spaced out, but the area to place food could have been a little closer, so you wouldn't have to hold your food. And if the seats reclined, it would have felt like watching from the comfort of home.

Mostly adult crowds, theaters are rarely packed. They bring you food and drinks to your seat. Drink menu has something for everyone. Ticket prices are about $14 after tax or you can pay $18 per month for unlimited showings.

This used to be my Favorite theater. Always looked forward to coming here. I'm hoping someone from the corporate office reads this and fixes what is going on with this location. My husband and I arrived 25 mins before the movie and my husband made two trips to the lobby area to ask for service. When the server arrived he was pleasant but I ended up having to go to the lobby to get my soda. It seems from our observation there was alot of chatting between the employees and not much service. The salad we ordered was forgotten and no apology that we had to keep making trips to get service. Especially frustrating as there were only two other couples in the theater with us and it didn't seem to be busy in the other theaters as well. There was an employee there that has always been an excellent server/bartender and I was especially disappointed he didn't seem to be bothered by what was going on.

A really high quality theater. The experience here is similar to Alamo: you have a server in your theater that brings you food that you order, and you have restaurant quality food. On the subject of the food, the quality of it amazing. I swear the fries here are the best I've ever had. And the quality of everything else makes Alamo look like a fast food restaurant. The servers here are also very nice. Apparently they only have two servers right now who are both brothers, but they're amazing. The screen quality and sound is also spectacular. Only complaint I could have about this place is that they don't have an order card system. You have to verbally communicate to your server, which can be distracting. Besides that, this theater is truly amazing and one worth visiting every once in a while. It's a guaranteed great time.

Great theater. This was our first movie since Rona. The theater was very clean, the staff worked quickly to take and deliver orders, the restrooms were clean.

The video and audio quality was good but not amazing. I'd prefer it louder myself for the big action scenes.

Kinda shocked to see so few people out there for opening weekend of Black Widow at 3:!5pm.

Wings were good and the margarita was decent. Cannot complain at all.

This is my favorite theater. There are 2 more closer to me, but I actively go to this one. The theaters are very clean, the staff is always nice, and the price is very affordable. Though they may not have an IMAX or reclining seats, they have food delivered right to your seat. It's surprising how tasty the food it and the drinks are really good too. It makes for a nice time out and takes dinner and a movie to a different level.

A friend and I decided to check out this newly opened theater and were both satisfied with the experience. It seems that a lot of these comments are disingenuous, ageist and rather hyperbolic or dramatized in some cases. It's fair to point out that the staff was seemingly new as you would expect at a recently opened theater but they were all friendly and helpful, despite what some reviews here have to say about the staff being young and therefore bad.

The seats were pretty comfortable and recline a little. The counters in front of the seats are very high so you probably shouldn't bring children to this theater. We ordered some drinks and popcorn which seemed to be similar in price to what you would pay at any other theater. Our waitress served our order in a timely manner and we enjoyed the movie. The audience was a bit noisy at times but it was a pretty upbeat, happy atmosphere overall.

We will definitely be coming again.

Great price for the food and they bring it to your seat! Doesn't get much better than that! The only bad thing is the seats barely recline. I would go elsewhere for more comfortable seating and if you are not hungry. But if you are hungry, this is definitely the movie theater to go to! Delicious!

They just re-opened this week. I saw a few reviews on service but I think they may be getting in their groove. We were welcomed at the door, our waiter was super nice, we got quick service, and the menu had great variety. Fun cocktails. Overall really good experience. I love the big reclining seats so I do miss that at this theater but seats were comfortable and did recline a little. Would definitely come again.

Great movie theater!! Very clean and excellent price only $10 admission. They serve food and we ordered popcorn and a pepperoni pizza and it was delicious!! There is a server that takes your order and brings it to you!! Perfect place for a dinner and a movie!! They also have a full bar but this time we just ordered a soda. Definitely will come back! Great place!!

Great place for date night! The server bringing food and drinks to you at your seat makes the experience all the more inviting. The chairs do not recline so they can be a little uncomfortable when enduring longer movies. Will be back for future new releases!

amazing experience. jordan did an excellent job. our order was put in wrong and she was very polite and apologized for the confusion, made sure we had all of our drinks and the rest of our food. she continued to check on us, making sure we didn’t need any refills or napkins or anything else. always smiling and very pleasant employee. our correct food was brought out to us very quickly. one of our kids spilled their drink, she was quick to pick it up and mop it and bring them a refill.
the food was very well cooked. everything tasted amazing and our drinks were made perfectly. all the staff was nice and professional. definitely will be coming back

Movie theaters done RIGHT, we will never go to another theater again. Immaculately clean, comfy seats, delicious REAL food and drinks. I’M IMPRESSED. Perfect for a date or bring the whole family, since it’s so reasonably priced

It is ok. The movie tickets are cheap but we paid $ 12.00 for 2 large sodas and tipped on top of that. The seating is also a little strange. You have to lean forward to the bench table to eat/drink. The seats also don't recline. I would go back but just for a movie. If I want a good theator where I can be served and eat comfortably, I will make the drive by Sloan's Lake to that theator.

I go to movies 3 to 5 times a week with the Regal Unlimited pass and for In the Heights I watched tonight it felt like it was a movie that had to be in a "special" type of theatre! So I tried the Regal Cinebarre in Greenwood Village for my very first time and I know now that it will not be my last! Honestly out of every movie theater experience I have gone through, I think this was one of my most genuine and caring personable experiences possibly ever! I honestly went in expecting it to be similar to the amc dine in (which i worked at southlands by the way!) And was amazed with how beyond my expectations were met! First when I went in, I was immediately greeted by a very friendly staff member and she asked if it was my first time, and when I said yes, she was kind enough to direct me to the qr code where the menu could be accessed and directed me to my theater to see In the Heights! And gave me a rundown that they were a dine in style theatre with a server coming inside the theater. When I went to my seat I was greeted by another very friendly server and the service was very fast and food I got was great! (I tried their cookies and cream milkshake, pretzels with cheese, and their powdered vanilla donut holes!)

Then the previews came on and the only thing I thought seemed a little odd was more than half of the previews were for movies that came out last year or were already on DVD but no worries on that the experience was still extraordinary and the staff were beyond phenomenal and very personable. About half way through the movie the waiter came to check on us to see if we are okay or needed anything more and then at the credits roll I was definitely not expecting this, since I had some leftovers food I wanted to take home the servers actually exit greeted us at our seats and removed the trash from our tables and as I was wondering how I was going to carry my leftovers food home (because they serve the food in little baskets) I asked the server for a box and with a smile he took care of that. When he came back the staff was again so personable and asked how I enjoyed the movie and I said I absolutely loved it! Then I mentioned how I love to see musicals and science fiction and the waiter again was very personable and even asked me about a musical if I had seen that had both of those genres and it was fantastic and I loved his character, personality, and cheerful attitude as he also sang do you hear the people sing from 1 of my favorite musicals les miserables, while exiting the theater. Furthermore, he was conversational about how Lin-Manuel Miranda makes great musicals as well!! And while exiting the theater where I was greeted by another friendly staff member who was coming in to help clean the theater. This staff member thought that this movie would be like his 2nd favorite movie of the whole year. I want to thank you for all of your friendliness, personalities and team work to help make this honestly one of my best movie theater experience goings possibly ever and that is coming from someone who goes to movies 3 to 5 times every week with my Regal Unlimited! So thanks for being here and I will 100 percent definitely be returning soon! :-) !

Oh and a quick note about the seats in the theaters too they are fairly comfortable even though they are not recliners like other theaters nearby they have tables in front and can use mild force to lean back a little too! For the servers, they also have a little aisle in between the rows of seats and tables too to allow for plenty of space for taking the meal orders and comfort for the guests! Do note this theater is aimed toward an adult audience. Thanks again Regal Cinebarre!

Everyone was very polite and professional. As soon as we entered we were asked if it was our first time there and were told how ordering worked. During previews someone came in to check how we were doing, it really felt like we were in a restaurant while watching a movie.

Excited they are so close to us! No recliners but the seats are comfy. Wish there was a foot bar or something like that. Have a variety of food and beverage options. Service was great, but get there early if you want service from your seat. Overall great! 👍

This is the best theater to go. Beer,liquor, great seats, a bar! And overall it’s a great experience.
They also serve you!
You might spend a pretty buck but it’s well worth it!

It was reasonable and they had a menu where you could eat and drink while watching the films instead of just eating snacks. The only weird part was the chairs. I wish it would have reclined back. However, it was no big deal they were still comfortable.
