Visited on 9/22/23 on a bicycle vacation from Indiana. They were busy but the staff did an excellent job & the food was awesome. It was my first time to Denver & my first time eating at a Creole restaurant. I had the Creole ommellett & a beignet with coffee, all delicious. I left almost to full to pedal my bike back down the bike trail. Would definitely eat here again for breakfast if I ever get the chance.

For New Orleans inspired food in Denver, this place was amazing! My family was visiting, and we decided to go for brunch. I was a little hesitant at first as I’ve been disappointed with southern inspired food here. I decided to try the shrimp and grits (jalapeño and cheese), gumbo and we got beignets for the table. Also got a glass of the fresh squeezed orange juice.

The shrimp and grits were good. A little heavy on the peppers for my liking. I wish the shrimp were a larger size. Gumbo was delicious. Biscuits were amazingggg! The perfect balance of fluffy and crispy. Loved the variety of jams/jellies that were available. The oj was fresh and soooo good! I’m a sucker for fresh squeezed juice! The beignets 🤤. Make sure to get an order or two. You’ll regret it if you don’t.

Overall, definitely a great spot to visit!

Food: These appetizing dishes were prepared with great care and attention to detail. The presentation and flavor were both perfect. **2 different types of fresh jam to go with the best LARGE biscuits.** Happy with all the vegetarian options!

Service: Attentive. Lots of smiles among the staff.

Atmosphere: Medium noise level. Mixture of comfortable booths and tables.

Parking: Large parking lot. Easy!

What a hidden gem!!

Incredible! One of, if not the best breakfast meals I’ve had in the Denver area and I’ve lived here for over a decade. Glad I finally tried it out. Literally everything we tasted was about perfecting something and making it uniquely good. Even the jams, sauces, Bloody Mary additions and shrimp, all executed to a very high degree of quality. This place cares about hand made, high quality and good service. The Eggs Benedict was so good with the delicious layers of thinly sliced ham and perfectly pouched eggs. I chose cheese grits of course. The biscuit.. wow. I’ve never had a biscuit like that.

Oh boy, where do I even start with Lucile's Creole Cafe in Littleton? Let me just say, this place is a must-visit for any foodie out there! 🍴😍

First things first, you absolutely HAVE to try their beignets. These fluffy, powdered sugar-coated pillows of deliciousness are what dreams are made of. 🤤 Trust me, you'll regret it if you don't get them as a starter or dessert!

Moving on to the entrees, their shrimp, grits, and gumbo are all top-notch. They've got the perfect amount of spice and flavor to transport your taste buds straight to New Orleans. And if you're a fan of eggs Benedict, you're in luck because they've got all sorts of variations to choose from. 🍳🍤🍛

But let's talk about the real star of the show here - the biscuits. These monsters are the size of your head and oh so buttery and fluffy. I could honestly just eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and be perfectly content. 😋🍞

Overall, Lucile's Creole Cafe is an absolute gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself! 👍🏼

Love this place! Food is wonderful and large portions, enough for 2 meals. Yesterday's server was kind and brought me a bag of ice for my knee, after my recent surgery. Oh yes, their Chai, beignets, and huge biscuits are yummy too!

My friend found this place in a random search and it was great. The beignets were really good (it was my first time having one), the service was great (our server Chris was also cute), and the prices were good too. I saw a few things on the menu that I'd like to go back and try for dinner some time too, and I've already made plans to bring another friend there when he visits next week. The only issue I had was that the grits in the shrimp and grits could have been a bit thicker, but they were still good.

Had a yummy brunch complete with delicious coffee, Mimosas & Bloody Mary's! The food was AMAZING, the service super sweet and timely. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much and could envision having frequent lazy Sunday brunches with friends and family if we lived in the area! The buttermilk biscuits are super special and the sausage gravy to die for! We will be back!

The Beignets were amazing, never had one but they were so good. The eggs Benedict was top tier. Biscuits as big as your head, lol. The apple butter and blueberry jam was so good I had to get some to go for later.

Yum!!! Love love love this restaurant! I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed yet and it’s because I want it to stay a secret! Their biscuits are plate sized and amazing! Everything that my family has ever ordered has been scrumptious and the employees are over the top fantastic as well! Thanks Lucille’s for making our family happy!

The biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had anywhere! And the cheesy jalapeno grits are incredible! The only thing that could have been better is the food was delivered warm, not hot, like it had been sitting longer than it should have been. Also, it was a bit difficult to get coffee refills. But the food was so good, I still gave this experience 5 stars!

Absolutely fantastic meal here. Coming from the South, I'm relieved to find biscuits and gravy in Denver like they're supposed to be: hearty portions, soft and fluffy, buttery, flavorful sausage.

The jam selection is on point as well, with my favorites being pepper and strawberry rhubarb. Excellent tender shrimp and grits, mouthwatering just to remenisce.

Loved the patio seating, plenty of parking, and friendly, attentive service. Thank you for existing!

My first time going to this location, and it's as good or better than the one downtown. I liked the atmosphere more due to the high ceiling and lots of space.
The eggs sardou, cheesy grits, beignets, biscuits, chicory coffee, pickle bloody Mary, gumbo, and collard greens were all outstanding, and our waitress, Amber was such a joy I had to tell her how nice it was to see someone enjoy their job!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The food here is so good. My favorite breakfast place in the area. The eggs Benedict, beignets and chicory coffee can’t be beat. They also have delicious homemade chai and seasonal lattes and coffees. Their Lucile’s ketchup, hot sauce and jams are the best around. Can’t go wrong for lunch or breakfast.

We had a great brunch here on a Saturday morning. There was a short wait, but the Bloody Mary and Memosa station in the waiting area made it an enjoyable wait.

The menu was great with lots of selection from pancakes to eggs. I was pleased with the wide range of selection and that they were serving grits along with breakfast. The flavors were great and definitely remind me of New Orleans and Louisiana.

I had the Eggs Sardou which had creamed spinach, Gulf shrimp, poached eggs and hollandaise. Served with grits or potatoes and a buttermilk biscuit. The biscuit was huge and fasted great. There was tasty strawberry jam on the table for the biscuit as well.

Our service was great and it was just a wonderfully fulfilling meal with our family.

Very good food. Came here to see if it stacked up to what it's most compared to, which is New Orleans. I will say, while the beignets were amazing, they were a little dense, but were still fantastic. The meals however, I had the Pain Perdu and it was some of the best French toast I've ever had. My fiance had the Eggs Sardou and, like the French toast, that was incredible. The service was great, we had Abby and she was attentive enough to give us space but make sure we had everything we needed. Also, the food was super fast. Food began arriving about five minutes after we ordered.

Overall, amazing experience. A little on the loud side, and the bathroom had a weird smell and the men's room wasn't very clean. It is what it is. I look forward to coming back, I really do. Thank you Abby, and thanks to the cooks for an amazing meal!
