Must try. Their pastries are delicious but their bread based treats are where it’s at! I got the chocolate cornet and it was so super soft and perfect. The crème filling was so good and not overly sweet. I reserved my goods ahead of time, and they were so kind when I came late! Love a Japanese bakery and excited to see this in Denver!

On a recent trip to Japan I fell in love with melonpan and set out to find some nearby when we got back to Colorado.

The sunrise bread is exactly what I was looking for and is absolutely worth the drive. Whenever I go I buy as many as they have, they’re so amazing.

The employees are always extremely helpful and friendly and it’s always a very clean and laid back environment.

Forget breakfast, get 5 pastries for $20 from here. There is a reason it’s highly rated, these pastries heated up are amazing! Get the egg salad, the sausage and the chocolate one. Visit this place!

This place is awesome!!! All the treats are unique, tasty, and a crazy good value. The beef curry is crispy, fluffy, and full of flavor. The peach is bright and creamy and tastes fresh as hell! The cherry might be my favorite, a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. You can't go wrong here. I take every chance I can to swing by, grab pastries, and head down to Stella's to get some work done.

Oh my what a treat! Went today for the first time and decided to try a bit of everything. Eight pastries later and I’m thinking I should have got one of everything! The chocolate croissant was divine, loved the berry pastry as well as banana one but my absolute favorite was their donut and sugar twist ! All of it very fresh and delicious! And 32$ for eight items! What a gem of a place !

Wow, I can't believe I only just tried this place. The chocolate chip sunrise was one of the best pastries I think I've ever had in my life! Their hojicha was amazing as well. Will absolutely be coming back again, and again and again!

The beef curry was great and fresh. As well as the epi and the egg and bacon. We beat the rush so service was super quick.

The pastries are legit! The peach pastry was so fresh. My partner got the cheese pastry and the pistachio crumble on top was a nice touch! Definitely recommend!

Gem of a place.

The curry pan was light and warm, the curry was more fragrant than usual. The sunrise (melonpan) was a little sweet for me but definitely hit the spot. The pastries looked flaky and delicious but I didn’t try one. My only pass was the matcha cream bun.

Around $8 for three items is an absolute steal. If I lived in the area I’d come back again and again.

Seating: small place, few tables and window seating

Parking: street parking

I recommend one of everything 💯
They also have super nice Japanese toilet seats in their restrooms. Don’t be intimidated by the standard super long line (especially on farmers market days). They keep it moving and the wait is always worth it.

First time visiting and it’s an instant hit. Delicious Japanese pastry menu (try the Matcha Cream), nice drink menu (including coffee), and my essentials of wifi and outlets were all here. Another perk? The restrooms have anJapanese bidet installed!

Everything’s PERFECT. I snatched one of almost every item and none disappointed me. Some of them are on the pricier side but nothing too crazy. They’re not too sweet as Asian bakeries should be. Matcha cream is out of stock for the day when we went in an early afternoon. I really like the earl grey croissant. The peach pastry is sweeter than their other pastries but not overwhelming. I highly recommend people to check this place out and try their matcha and custard pastries!

my favorite bakery in all of Denver!! I go here regularly to stock up on shokupan, and and usually grab a couple of other items as well. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like, and highly recommend the curry pan, korokke, and breakfast bun! Very reasonably priced, and the closest thing to an authentic japanese bakery outside of japan

Tokyo Premium Bakery is Pearl Street’s treasure! They have many pastries to choose from and truly, you can’t go wrong with anything you pick! My favorite is the Red Bean Bun, but many of my friends are fans of the Peach Pastry. I would also recommend getting a Houjicha Latte to go along with any of the sweet pastries. It’s a nice place to study or have a pastry date!

We're always enthusiastic about Asian baked goods. Today, we were upgraded to being obsessed.

Tokyo Premium Bakery did not disappoint. The store was packed with customers, and the shelves were slightly bare. We will come back early in the morning next time.

Currently my favorite bakery in town! All of their food is amazing from the beef curry rolls (in pic) which are PHENOMENAL to their sweets! It’s very dangerous that it is close by to the house. We also love their mixed berries (in pic), tropical fruit and peach sweet ones. Staff is also super helpful and it is all around a great experience! I recommend this place to all my friends

tok-YO this place offers some fantastic baked treats at reasonable prices. Came late on a Saturday and thought I might be limited to the dregs. Ended up going with the curry bun (v good), peach pastry (dynamite), and the bacon and egg (am told it was awesome as I didn’t get a bite). Will make any excuse to go back.

The Chocolate Banana Danish was absolutely delicious 🤌🏽 The danish, along with my dirty chai with oat milk really got my morning started off on the right foot. The inside is not a huge space, but it felt intimate and cozy (in a casual way). Highly recommend stopping in and then continuing to explore the shops of South Pearl St with a little treat!

Food is great, prices are very good for Denver, and having been to Japanese bakeries in Japan, they did a very good job making it look like one.

Make sure to order online and save yourself the aggravation of most of their pastries being sold out while being able to skip the line out the door.
