Comfort Inn Mount Shasta Area

I had a very nice stay at the Comfort Inn - I used this as a base for hiking, snowshoeing, and running around Shasta and the Castle Crag Wilderness.

The location is easily accessible right off the highway and nearby a grocer and Starbucks. I was able to get lunch supplies for my trips from the grocer and a nice cup of coffee every morning on the way out the door.

The service was friendly and the facilities were always clean. They did a nice job with the rooms and common areas. I really appreciated the hot breakfast every morning with bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, and biscuits with gravy.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was hot with good pressure, and the room AC kept things quite comfortable at all hours. All in all, this was a fair value for the price. I would definitely return again.

We had a lovely stay the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The best part was they had electric chargers there. And that made it very easy to charge the car overnight. I wish more hotels had electric chargers. it makes people more comfortable having an electric car, knowing that there are chargers along the way. Especially at the hotels. The sunrise on the surrounding mountains was so beautiful!

The rooms and beds are extremely comfortable clean. AC works great, they serve good breakfast just a lot of bread. The pool was closed and I hope they upgrade they're gym and get a bigger size and get some weights dumbbells.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. The front desk and housekeeping were so friendly. My room was very clean and cozy. The shower stayed super hot the whole time with strong water pressure. And the hot breakfast was a plus. The location is very easy to get to just right off the exit and located next to plenty of stores. (Video is the view from the 3rd floor looking out of our room window when it was snowing)

Bed is comfy, pillows are great, sheets are clean, front desk is very polite. You don't stop here to swim. You stop here to sleep, shower and get back on the road. We will be back! Booked out on a wednesday night, call ahead and lock in your reservation in advance.

The best part of this hotel is the staff, namely Jennifer, who worked mainly at night. We were stuck here for a week due to weather conditions, and all the staff, Jennifer, in particular, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and safe. The rooms could use an update for sure, old furniture, smells, bad plumbing, and very undesirable at a very high price point. The staff, though, are ALL top shelf.

They sent us to a room that hadn't been cleaned and the were snotty about having to switch rooms. A little over spendy. $206. Bucks for 2 guys 2 beds . Maybe on I-5 that's the price.

Staff was very pleasant. Great room. Store and fast food was within walking distance.
Very quiet

Stopped at this hotel after a long drive through Oregon in snow and a spin out. I was so exhausted driving and had not made reservations. The gentleman on the other side of the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were super clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee was delicious. Overall it was a great stay. I didn’t really get to explore the town since I was in somewhat late due to the weather conditions. This hotel is conveniently located off the 5 freeway. I highly recommended this place. Make sure to sign up for rewards.

I'm a trucker and my truck broke down off the 5 and my company put me up here. I'm really glad they chose this place out of all the ones I could of stayed in.

The place is very clean from when you first walk in until you get to your room. The people all the way down to the maintenance guy were really friendly and down to earth. The rooms are perfect, and when I was walking around in the morning I noticed that they had also suites that were more than spacious to hold a family. Pillows were perfectly plush the way all motel/hotel pillows should be. One thing that really stood out for me is that I was able to hook up my roku with ease. I say this because I've been in so many places that don't have easy access to the back of the TVs for devices and I liked that.

Breakfast was amazing and they definitely did not hold back on the selection. The first day I tried to eat healthy but the second day I dove into the biscuits and gravy and they taste like someone put some care and effort into making them. I did wish they had eggs available but thats only because of personal preference.

What's really cool is that because of my circumstances and my truck not being readily available yet, they went above and beyond on my late check out and I really do appreciate it. All in all it was definitely a memorable experience. If y'all want a great room for the weekend... this is a perfect place to stay for a day after of exploring what Weed has to offer.

We were staying during a snow storm I 5 was closed. Night girl was wonderful at hotel. She was front desk triaging phones and front desk with calm ease. Well done

It was clean and the front desk people were very friendly and helpful. We have 2 small doggies and last minute got caught in a snow storm. They made room. Thankful.

The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the linens fresh and crisp. We slept with the window open, as we always do, and there was no noise from outside....we had a peaceful night. The only complain was that the breakfast had no eggs, no protein in any form. Pancakes and bread, cold cereals, coffee, etc, but no eggs or bacon or sausage. Carbs galore, but again, no protein. Not Keto friendly.

We got there after about 10 hours of travel at around 1:30am. The guy was super nice and got us a great room for a good price. The rooms were clean and they had a complimentary breakfast (all prepackaged due to COVID). The beds were great, and overall we were happy with our stay. Highly recommend.

Very pleasant front desk evening help, wish I remember his name. Happily surprised to have a clean and in good working order room. It's been a long time that I can say that about any room from any chain. Hotels/motels in neighboring town did not have good reviews so I looked further up the road and found this motel.

The service was great, Brittany took wonderful care of us. We travel all over and stay in hotels 100+ nights a year. The shower was awesome. The wifi was fast and reliable. The room was clean and well maintained. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this location.

We got the last room available and we were glad to get it 😂it was nice and staff seemed nice too. Shockingly good breakfast too

I would say this motel is UNDER priced for what I got. A nice comfortable modern room, good breakfast and right next door to the Dos Amigos Restaurant which had friendly staff and very good Mexican food. By the way - don't waste your time thinking up marijuana jokes as the locals have heard them all.
I'll be back.

Stayed here for over a month! It's was a good experience. Room service was great!
