Joe and Joe's Liquor Store. A+. Truly the best customer facing experience I have had in Denver with a liquor store. Small, tucked away off Washington Street and packed full of quality liquors and beer. The reviews are legit, this is a world class experience every single time. Lovely store with a variety of cold liquor compared to 7/11 across the street. Joe is incredibly friendly and conversational! 10/10 would come back again for Joe.

Joe's is the most friendly place I've ever been to. His selection is incredible. He's got something for everyone. He was so helpful while we were trying to find some locally brewed beer and whiskey. He found out we were from out of town and gave us some great suggestions with an extremely detailed description of how to get to each. I wish I could give this place a 100/5 but alas I'll have to settle for 5 stars. :)

Just met Joe for the first time. These reviews are the truth. Joe is the nicest dude you’ll ever meet. I found what I was looking for but he offered to order something for me if I didn’t. The store is open until 11:30 which is awesome because most places nearby close at 10 on a Tuesday. Buy from Joe, you’ll be glad you did!

I read a few reviews of this location and knew it was the spot to grab our alcohol. We were greeted and welcomed by Joe as soon as we walked in. Not only was Joe amazing, but the selection was a close competitor to that. We found everything we were looking for, and even a hidden gem that is hard to find elsewhere! The icing on the cake was Joes great conversation and recommendations for us visitors.
We will 100% be back for our future party favors.

I've been going to Joe's for three years now and I have no complaints. Joe has the best selection of craft beer that I have ever seen for a small store. He's also just a really nice guy and I love to shoot the breeze with him after I get off work. I highly recommend you come check it out!

Joe is awesome! My boyfriend and I stopped in on our way into town and he was nothing but friendly and hospitable. He had a very good selection of wines and beers and was very helpful with finding things. Would highly recommend!

If you haven't been to Joe's Liquor Store (on Washington) you've missed out. Joe is a good man, has fair prices, and has been in business at this location for 31 years. It says something about him, his service, and his quality business. Go see him if you're at the rodeo or an event close, but be careful, he's on the corner and easy to miss if you're not looking for him. It's worth the trip to shake hands with this fine gentleman. Was on the hunt for a special IPA beer and Joe didn’t have it. But he made a special call to his distributor and got me the special IPA beer within two days. Joe is such a nice man to have met. Will be stopping by again to give him more business! Thanks Joe

The most friendly service! Every time I walk in, Joe is smiling and asking about my day. He makes sure he knows you so he can have your personal favs brought in. And Joe is the most upstanding and honest man with his prices!

I work right up the street from Joe's and I have to say the place is awesome. Terrific beer selection, probably best liquor store in town aside from Molly's, and if your looking for a beer that you can't find then just ask Joe and he will get it ordered for you! Nothing beats Joe's hospitality and the originality of the liquor store itself. I live off market st and Joe's blows Mr. B's liquor out of the water. It is also nice to spend my money at a small business where I know exactly where the money is going, to Joe.

Came for a weekend trip and we found Joes little house of liquors. Place is was pretty legit!!! For as small this place is, it has got a lot of stuff. Great beer selection to! Joe was straight up running the counter on a hot day with a huge smile on his face! A younger better looking denzel! Def will return and def recommend!

I don't often write reviews, especially for liquor stores, but I absolutely needed to after meeting Joe. Might come from Fort Collins again just to buy beer here. Joe is a delight and deserves more than 5 stars. I'll be back.
