A delicious discovery! I am a green chili snob, and I was very happy to find that the offerings here are legit. They roast and peel their own chilis (like mom used to do,) and you can taste it! Highly recommended

Found this place on Google & Yelp during a recent visit to Colorado.
It's worth the drive to experience the wonderful service and excellent food served up here! The ambience is very classic Local All-American style with wonderful joyful Mexican music playing.
There is a small 5-stool bar counter, bench style booths and small tables with bright signage and family photos of American Military Hero's that gives this place the ultimate local vibe.
"Favi" the owner also serves customers with her wonderful charm and friendly smile!
I loved the green chili so much, I got a pint to go! Love this place! Mahalo Favi & your staff for a wonderful dining experience!

This charming breakfast spot is a hidden gem in our neighborhood. The cozy atmosphere and authentic flavors make it a must-visit. The menu offers a delightful array of Mexican and classic breakfast classics. Mouthwatering breakfast burritos. The friendly staff adds a warm touch to the experience. Portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. It's a perfect spot for a casual morning meal or a weekend brunch. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant will make you feel AT HOME with its delicious dishes and welcoming ambiance. A true neighborhood treasure!

Home Cafe was so delicious! Stopped in during a bike ride with the kids to refuel and we couldn't have been more pleased. The food was so yummy and fast, and the staff was so kind! French toast, chilakiles, enchiladas, beans, bacon, eggs, has browns, chorizo, were all amazing. Definitely a hidden gem and we'll surely be back!

This cozy eatery borders on claustrophobic. There's not a square inch of wall that is not covered with some sort of cutesy sign. The menu leans heavily Mexican. Staff is extremely attentive. Food is good! I'll be back... Just maybe with blinders on

I’ve been greeted with a smile and fresh black coffee. The music and staff are absolutely happy and pleasant to walk into. I stopped by there after dealing with car issues, and friendly service and home made food completely turned my day around. The daily special was Poblano skillet and let me tell you- I’m yet to find a better Chile dish in Colorado. It was so fresh and flavorful. Favi(the hot friendly funny owner) treated us to churros and I can’t wait to go back to get more. Anyway, if you don’t live in Englewood, don’t go to that restaurant because it will ruin all big chain breakfast places for you, and you’ll be craving home made skillets and fresh food. It’s very down to earth happy casual place with big portions of fresh simple foods. The place is clean and it smells nice.

Compliments to the chef “Jose” and Favi for running such a smooth operation! 🌸

Wow, we were so excited to find this place! Right of Hampden on our way through.

I highly recommend the smothered breakfast burrito. This will be our Sunday stop coming home from church.

This is my favorite sort of place! It's a wonderful mix of 50s classic diner meets cheerful Mexican home. It felt just like being at a little roadside taqueria or visiting a friendly home in Mexico--but where your can also get pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Favi, the owner, is a true delight of a person and makes you feel very welcomed and cared for. I wished I lived closer, as I would happily become a regular here! Even so, I'll definitely make the trip down whenever I want both a delicious burrito (and their churros are just amazing!) and to feel like I'm visiting a friend's home!

Great breakfast spot right off Hamden/285. Quick and delicious. The steak skillet was awesome. Small but had seats when I visited. Need to go back and try the burritos which looked incredible.

Excellent diner style meal with a cozy atmosphere. We had the toms special and the steak burrito, with bacon on the side. Best bacon I’ve had in years. We met the owner who was warm, friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Stumbled upon this charming, family owned restaurant, and so happy we did! Favi was such a delight! She greeted me right as I walked in the door and was very attentive. Our to-go order came out in a timely matter and was delicious. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back (:

My friend was visiting and wanted to find a place for breakfast. We did some searching around and I read numerous genuine reviews praising this restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the staff was attentive and laid-back. I loved the cute signs and license plates all over the walls. Our meals were delicious and we left satisfied. The snug feel of the restaurant was such a plus as well, it felt cozy in there.

Drove past this place 5 million times and never stopped until today. So happy I did. So sad they close at 2pm and I can’t eat here 3 times a day. Honey, Sweetie, Darling is how every customer is greeted. Unique place that feels like your favorite Tita made breakfast for you. Just warm and all googly inside. The green chili was on point. My pancakes were delicious and fluffy and I think I’ll order just one next time because they are generous. While you enjoy your meal you can spend time enjoying all the signs, nic knacks and decorations around the room. The coffee was surprisingly good. Even the water was good. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend.

Cute spot with excellent food and great prices. Favi, the owner is kind and makes you feel welcome. I'll be back, with friends.

At most breakfast spots, I'm always worried about asking for over easy or sunny side up eggs, even though they're my favorite style, because the whites are almost always runny. Not here. Perfect eggs. Very impressed.

We happened in here and unexpectedly found a gem! Clean, friendly, delicious! The decor and atmosphere is so fun. And the food was amazing- big portions and so good. The owner made us feel welcome and special. I can’t say enough good things! We will be making a habit of it:)

Unexpected but awesome breakfast spot. We came on a Sunday with large party of seven and we were seated right away. This place is covered in rooster decor, license plates, and funny signs. I love the laid back vibe. Mexican style dishes- hueveos rancheros, breakfast burritos, and skillets. I got Ernesto’s skillet and it was perfection. The chorizo, peppers, and cactus gave it so much flavor. I highly recommend it. The service is quaint. River Pointe doesn’t have any authentic breakfast spots, only Panera, so head here before the Sunday Costco shop and enjoy a tasty breakfast.

Delicious, fast, and fair priced! I spent some time in Texas and have missed good Mexican food since I left. Home Cafe hits the spot! Try Ernesto's Skillet, it's amazing!

Love this place! Found it the first day we moved into the neighborhood. Come here at least once a month with my husband and 10 year old. Flavi makes the BEST authentic chorizo. Her husband is a cooking fool. Prices are reasonable.
