Overall a well run facility. The patients in a long term acute care hospital can face many daunting challenges as their conditions are very serious and require a high level of treatment. Results are not alway optimum but this logically stems from the condition they are in medically when then enter the facility.

My husband was very ill and spent time at many facilities in the Denver area for an entire year. Colorado Acute Long term Care Hospital is the place where he got the best care in every area. From case management, wound care, respiratory and dialysis to nutrition, housekeeping and front desk security, everyone was professional and great at what they do. Nursing and CNA staff were incredible. We will be forever grateful as they made a very difficult time the very best it could be with their expertise and care. Thank you to all the staff in every department at Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital!

Dr. Herrmann, Matt, and their staff are amazing. I felt like they truly care about their patients, and did everything in their power to make my stay as good as it could be for being in a hospital. Dr. Mirzaei and Kopel were fabulous in house docs, and the majority of the nursing staff was amazing. The PT and OT staff know their stuff and listen to the patients needs. The only reason I would knock them down is the WiFi. When you’re stuck in bed for 6 weeks or more it’d be nice to stream movies on the tv instead of the phone. To the new investors/owners, this isn’t a typical short stay hospital, so don’t change things and make your staff become robots. We’re people and build relationships with your staff through them taking extra time to help us and sometimes a 5 minute chat can prevent a mental breakdown, so don’t make them fill some stupid quota. Don’t follow other hospital models.

Big thanks to the Dr.’s and staff.

We were amazed at just how the RNs genuinely care about their patients here. I saw them take the time to really get to know patients and show such a high degree of care that it surprised me at first. It's a small hospital and seemed like the providers spent the time getting to know and answering their patient's questions. I've never seen such caring RNs and CNAs. They really care and spend the time (when they have it) joking and being genuine. There are downsides, but you see those everywhere you go, and its not as bad as the big hospitals. The wound care team is unbelievable. They are willing to tackle really hard wounds that no-one else would touch. We found patients from all across the US there being treated because their wounds were so complex. Matt, Stacey and Dr. Herrmann are so committed. The therapy department is staffed by a bunch of passionate lunatics who genuinely care about getting their patients up and moving. I've seen them cheering and dancing in the hallways due to the smallest achievements. Overall, the staff is what makes this a really special place.

Just transferred my 88 yr old mother for MIRSA infection. An amazing facility, unlike normal hospitals they don't believe if you are old you should die.
Staff are educated and care and pay attention to details. From CNA to RN to Dr Jahaveri, to PT and OT to respiratory to everyone one, each and every staff is a true caring professional. They are the best and I can't thank them enough.

The Doctors and nurses are top notch. They did an outstanding job for me when I came in with a wound and bad infection. I would recommend them anytime. Thank you for what you did for me.

I've been a patient here bout 3 or 4 times and I am pleased with the care I received there. The staff are very friendly and were very helpful in every way. The only complaint I would give this place is the food is not good at all. I hated the selection and tasted horrible at times.
