The fellas at Superior Engines were awesome. They remanufactured my entire engine, sticking to the initial quote. The work was great and you can't beat their warranty. Highly recommended!

Scott and his team were great to work with. He was upfront about how long it would take to rebuild my 5.4L 3V in my 2008 Ford Expedition EL. He gives the best warranty around that I can find, not that I intend to use it. The engine is clean and tight after the 500 mile mark. The serpentine belt did squeak a little when we picked it up, but he poured some water and it when away. After the rebuild the belt just took some time for the belt to reseat and all is well now. I will recommend this shop to other 5.4L owners when they need a rebuild or cam phaser noise issues as other shops will only charge a little less to fix the cams as Scott will rebuild the whole engine.

Felt compelled to write this review after I received my TJ / Jeep Wrangler Rubicon back from the shop today. A few months back, I started hearing the infamous "tick" of rod knock coming from my 4.0L i6. On the fateful morning that my engine failed, I got the Jeep towed to Jeeperformance in Englewood. Due to supply chain issues, ordering a remanufactured engine block was going to take months, so Charlie at Jeeperformance connected me with Scott at Superior Engines to do an engine rebuild.
After reading the existing reviews, I had the impression that Scott or the team might be difficult to work with... but I'm writing this review because I did not experience that whatsoever. From our first phone call, Scott was friendly, professional, easy to communicate with, and gave me a realistic expectation for the timeline and work being done. He provided me with timely updates and always called me back if I reached out while he was unavailable. Upon picking up my Jeep today, I learned that they also fixed an issue (cracked exhaust manifold) that had caused numerous headaches for me in the past but previous shops hadn't been thorough enough to accurately diagnose, AND replaced my clutch that was coming due for replacement. My TJ is running beautifully!!! Thank you Scott and team, I appreciate the work you do!!

Scott, Brett, and Jesus treated me well. The 5.3L v8 in my Chevy 1500 needed a cam shaft and related rebuild. They turned it around with top shelf service. Will return for any engine needs.

Scott and his team brought my F-150 back to life! Great communication throughout the whole process, it runs smooth, he went out of his way to help with a few other issues- overall I could not be more pleased.

I was needing a rebuild and had looked up a few places and my gut said bring it out to these guys and I'm glad I did! My engine looks great I'm putting the dressing back on now. Fantastic service, they set me up with break in oil, gaskets and they were great to talk with!

Scott has been absolutely terrific to work with.
He brought my 300 back from the dead, and he made it incredibly affordable. I understand from reading other reviews that certain people have had different experiences, but I can tell you that Scott is absolutely the guy for Hemi rebuilds here in Denver. It’s a small shop and they handle a Lot of business - so my advice is - Be Patient with the entire staff. I’ve had my rebuild back for almost a year and the shop has been very thorough and easy to work the entire time.

Scott has been working on my 2 Toyotas for more than 10 years. He has always been pleasant to deal with. His prices are very reasonable and I've always been pleased with the service.
Recently I was driving up I70 to evergreen and my 2003 Toyota Highlander blew the engine. Scott had warned me that this could happen about a year ago. He put another engine in it and now it's running better than ever I expect to get another 300,000 mile out of this Highlander.

Scott was great! He re-built my 1999 Jeep Wrangler and did a follow up after 500 mile to assure everything was top notch. If I have another engine issue I will be going back to him. Highly recommend!

Scott and his team did an excellent job in replacing the engine in my ‘03 F150. They not only provided a lower price than 3 other shops, they kept to the repair schedule and stood behind their warranty when a small minor bolt replacement was needed. Fair, upfront, good service, good price.

I highly recommend Superior engines on complete engine rebuild. Scott and the guys did an excellent job with my 2000 4Runner engine rebuild. They pay special attention to detail. Once it was finished it looked like it came straight from the factory. It looked brand new. I would recommend Superior engine for all engine repairs. Thank you again for doing an excellent job.

I did business with these guys over 10 year ago, back in 2007, but I figured I would share my experience with dealing with them. I found some old paperwork from them and was curious to see if they were still around... sure enough, they are.

Back in 2007, I bought an old Toyota Cressida with a blown up engine for $500 for a fun project, and pulled the engine out and began looking for someone to rebuild it. After many phone calls to various shops and getting jerked around by all of them, Superior Engines gave me the best quote and sounded confident to take on the job.

Once I brought the engine in and they pulled it apart to see what happened to it, the report was ugly. The #5 piston had suffered a detonation, and had been blown into pieces into the oil pan. Not only that, but it gouged up the cylinder walls, and the head was pretty chewed up too. It looked un-saveable.

Well, these guys worked their magic, and once I put everything back together, the engine ran flawlessly for the next 6 years I had the car before I sold it.

Just judging from the website, it looks like the same guys are still working there. It's been a long time, but the fact that they could save that motor was pretty impressive.

Scott and his crew rebuilt my 2005 Hemi. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Guided me through the break in process and was always willing to answer my questions. The truck is running excellent. After break in towed my 7000 lb trailer. No issues. I would recommend anyone looking to have an engine rebuilt, have it done by Superior Engines.

Had an engine replaced recently, and Scott and his team did a great job. Replacement engine seems to have more power than the original...Give Scott some time, and he can be a little "Gruff", but what I appreciated most was that he always responded to my texts , and never "Ghosted" me. Stuck to his quote. Engine threw a code a couple weeks after receiving the car back...contacted Scott, I had the code reset and car has been fine so far.

I'd like to echo a previous review: 'They are honest, good pricing and my truck runs great after engine being rebuilt! This truck has very sentimental value to me and I couldn't be happier than I am with the quality work, how nice and understanding they are! They rebuilt a 1990 Toyota 3.0 motor - a very difficult engine to work on. Scott and his team rebuilt the engine, cleared all the engine codes, sent bi-weekly updates, replaced the clutch, diagnosed an oil gauge issue, etc., Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to rebuild a Toyota. Ignore the 1-star reviews. If you have a real project, a motor that can be rebuilt, and can handle the current lead-time, than this is the shop to go to. Thanks again.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Scott and the guys at Superior Engines for 10 years. They are the most honest and straightforward repair shop I have ever dealt with. I have since moved out of state but still send my son to Scott when his cars need repair. If you want a no BS experience Scott is man of great integrity and a they are all very talented technicians.

Couldn't be happier with Scott and the team at Superior Engines! We bring all of our vehicles here, including the "project" cars that I screw up... I've taken seven vehicles here so far. Not only is Scott the most knowledgeable and helpful mechanic I've ever met, but you can count on getting the right diagnosis the first time.

This isn't a shop that will just throw parts at a problem until they fix it - they take the time to figure out the issues, and do the right repairs quickly and for a fair price. This place has saved us thousands of dollars and who knows how much down-time since we started using them. Whether it's finding the reason our Subaru was (still...) overheating, or machining the cylinder heads on our "racecar," this is a place that can handle any size job and deliver excellent results.

It's hard to find honest, quality mechanical work - unless, of course, you go here. Every time we've used this place, their work has been top notch, turnaround time has been fast, and the price point has been excellent (and far lower than other estimates we've received). To top it off, Superior Engines stands behind their work and guarantees their repairs.

I can’t say enough good things about Scott and his guys at Superior Engine. My 1955 Chevy pickup needed an engine rebuild. Yes, it took a bit longer than anticipated, but that’s to be expected with a classic vehicle. Scott stayed in contact the entire time, letting me know where things were at. He also went above and beyond. He noticed a leak and replaced the fuel pump, among other miscellaneous things. Again, 66 year old vehicle, there is always something. Had a small hiccup when I got him home (dump truck bed bounced and cut the line to the fuel pump). Scott drove up to Conifer the next day and moved the line and all was well. When he (Big Red) went back into Scott and Superior Engines, for his 500 mile check up, Scott was kind enough to fix two other little issues I was having! Hope to never have to have an engine rebuilt again, but if I did, I’d go back to Scott and Superior Engines!!

Scott and the crew at his shop are always great to work with ! I always take my vehicle here. I highly recommend this shop. They are honest, fast and the cost of repair is generally less than most shops! I have recommended my family/friends to superior engine for years and I don't see that changing! I recently had to have a power steering rack repl on my truck. The work was done professionally and in a timely manner. As a former mechanic I can strongly vouch for the shop - the work is absolutely top notch !
