Farmers Insurance - Derek Nagy

Derek is a pleasure to work with. He has always been very responsive and offers helpful advice for our insurance needs.

Derek Nagy - this poor man has had the misfortune of having built his clientele with farmer's insurance. I watched this fearless advocate push uphill on several occasions. While we feel we got hugely screwed, it was nothing Derek Nagy did or didn't do, he really was professional and the claims department doesn't want or need his opinion. He did indeed advocate for us until the bitter end. We have had famers for 20 years, never filed a claim, until now. It's been an awful experience. We need a new roof and we're told no, upon reconsideration, we were told no even louder.

In regards to my auto policy, Derek provided me with the best value possible and a lower monthly payment than I had experienced in over a year. The update included medical coverage which had not been mentioned to me by my previous agent. Derek was timely, informative and supportive when I made the transition to Farmer's. His overall quality of service is well-worth 5+ stars and his commitment to policy holder satisfaction is highly prevalent. Professional and responsive, I highly recommend his services for anyone looking for above satisfactory agency service.

Derek came out to look at our house, took a few pictures for verification, and liked what he saw. He was quick and did not waste time. When leaving, he said an independent agent would be coming by a few days later. That agent showed up as promised and confirmed Derek's observations. A few days later, we had our homeowner's policy in hand. Premium payment was paid over the phone and the amount was less than originally quoted! Smooth transaction. Very satisfied. When its time to renew, I think I will bundle my auto coverage to save even more money.

Update: Derek is great! He follows up and makes sure that we've got the coverage we need and makes recommendations on how to save us some money. Thanks Derek!

Derek was very attentive to my family's insurance needs and got us the best plan for the price. I only gave him 4 stars as we are new clients. I will update this review as time passes and our relationship develops but so far, Derek is doing great.

Derek was awesome to work with. He was knowledgeable and very responsive each and every time I spoke with him. Although my policy didn't cover my repairs nor did my HOA Derek did his best!

Derek is a very helpful and knowledgeable insurance agent. He will give good advice on when and when not to make a claim. He was also very diligent in getting me a refund when I sold my house.
