Belmar Library - Jefferson County Public Library

This library is beautiful and spacious. I love how many spots there are to read/study, and how much natural light comes in. The large windows facing Belmar park help you feel immersed in nature. I love coming here

Love the ease of ordering online and picking up at the lockers. The staff have always been very helpful if I ever have a problem picking up or looking for something. The children's section is great and usually very active. Like the fact that you can reserve a private room So much always going on and I'm sure I don't even know about half of the activities that are offered.

I commend the library employees and patrons for their exemplary show of fortitude and restraint, especially Dave, in the face of ignorance when they were invaded by a parasitic species in the form of frauditors. A word of advice for those screaming about no expectation of privacy in public and you are always recorded, you should look up the words implied consent. When you enter a business to receive services, you are acknowledging that to enter and receive those services, you will be recorded for security purposes. If you do not want to be recorded, you are free to leave. A slug with a camera walking around to make money on YouTube is not the same thing. The dung beetle with the iPhone on a gimble shoved in your face because they THINK they can is not the same thing. Period. End of story. You want to talk about what it means to be an American? THAT is not it. Freedom does not mean freedom from accountability. Dave deserves a raise and the patron with the Mohawk deserves a huge thanks for standing up for his fellow patrons. BTW anyone in one of these videos on SweeT T AudiTs, NastyNathanial or Denver Metro Audits, or any of the other parasites, you can request YouTube to remove the video for privacy and harassment if they captured your face without consent. As much as they want to pretend this is about the first amendment, this is all about the money. Playing copyrighted music or engaging in conversation about topics YouTube will demonitize will protect you in the future. Or at least keep them from getting paid for it. Great job Belmar Library 😁

The staff was so helpful and friendly! HUGE shoutout to Rae for being an absolute *ray* of sunshine! They were a huge help in finding a book I was interested in! Also shoutout to Elizabeth and Bea at the front for also being amazing!

The staff are very helpful, place is large and kept as clean as they can considering how busy it is.

This is the first time I have visited the Belmar Library, and I love it. The library is so large, bright, and new after renovations two years ago. The wifi works perfectly, too.

I come here often to use the study rooms. Reserving them is easy. The wifi has worked every time I have been here so I can use my own computer as much as I like. The library will automatically renew any checked out material that is late.

I frequently come here during the week to work on freelance projects, and I am so amazed by the people who work here everyday. They are so considerate, patient, and willing to go out of their way to provide resources to people and help them with any issues. I really like their computer set-up as well. They have a 60 minute limit, but as long as no one is waiting to use a computer, you can stay for longer.

This is a truly wonderful library and is genuinely my favorite one in all of Denver. Everyone there is so kind and helpful, you can really feel the effort the employees have put in to make this place a safe haven for EVERYONE in the community. The selection is great, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and there is always interesting community activities. It is a centrally located library with tons of easily walkable restaurants, shops and even some bars! It's right next to the park & heritage center which I always recommend checking out!

My only complaint is to say how disappointed I am in some people going to this library and leaving negative reviews. I will be frank, there ARE homeless people. You will see them walking around both outside and inside, some people do have their carts/tents stored outside and you can see them. HOWEVER these are people who are experiencing homelessness and are just trying to relax in a safe sheltered area. The people trying to paint this library as some urine covered place where people fight is frankly disturbing. Please have empathy for those who are living different lives than you are who are also just trying to enjoy the library!

There is a lot of books and if you need a place to read there is a lot of booths and spots to read. In the summer there are activities and they are very interactive and fun. There are many kids books if your kids need books. There are cds and songs you can listen to.

The story time for kids is incredible!! We had the best time singing, dancing, reading, and playing with our 1 year old and all of the children. What a beautiful, safe space!

I love public libraries, and i believe librarians are a special breed of amazing people. Belmar is a great library, and today I enjoyed an additional service they provide as a voting station.

The employees are really friendly and helpful. Clean and safe library with many resources.

Great library! It's easy to navigate and place holds on their website, and the staff is always very friendly and happy to help. I also use their audiobook apps and museum passes and tell everyone I know about all the resources they have available!! Not to mention the excellent story times with many wonderful staff and the different collections of toys in the children's area! Our kiddos are always excited to visit the library thanks to the story time librarians! We feel so blessed to have such a nice library available to all in our community, and I hope the staff is getting the resources and support they need to navigate the increased demand for basic needs in the community as other social services continue to degrade. Cheers to all our Jeff Co libraries and to free public spaces :)

This Library is great because the staff is great. The ladies and gentlemen that work here are warm and welcoming and do not mistreat people who ask silly questions, or hang out all day because of whatever reason. I can really just focus on work or watch movies without being hassled, like I am in Castle Rock's Library for example; where I get followed around and get told to be done in 45 minutes or less. A great use of my tax dollars here. I appreciate how helpful and kind the staff is here. And always smiling and welcoming. Just awesome. A place is only as good as who keeps it. And this place is wonderful.

Fantastic staff! I had a great interaction with the woman who helped me sign up for my library card. I was impressed with the library as a whole. It is easy to navigate, there are private study rooms, the furniture has charging ports and there are large windows overlooking the park!

Always so impressed by how helpful and courteous all the staff with all types of people who have various needs. 👏🏽

The staff is always happy to help with any issues I have. A great place to commune with books.

Love all our libraries, they reopened the children's area with toys since the redesign and my kids were really happy!
