This place is outstanding. The food is top-notch. I got the chicken Parmigiana. It was amazing. It was a lot be prepared for leftovers. My husband got the chicken marsala, and he said it was fantastic. We shared the tiramisu, and it was a wonderful finish to our meal. The only negative is that I ran out of my drink halfway through the meal, and our server didn't refill it. Otherwise, 100% will go back and highly recommend.

While visiting Denver, we were told about Gaetano’s. Fortunately we were able to make a reservation for New Year’s Day dinner. When we entered, it was busy, which was a good sign. We saw an order of the calamari go to a table and definitely wanted to try it after just seeing it. We were sat within a couple minutes, however the tables for 2 were pretty tightly squeezed and in a rather awkward area of the restaurant, due to this it was very easy to hear the adjoining tables conversations, which was a little distracting. Luckily the service and food made up for the atmosphere issues. Our server was impeccable and very helpful with choosing drinks and food. We had the Cioppino and the Chicken Piccata along with some wine and a cocktail. The food was amazing! The seafood in the Cioppino was so fresh and tender, and the tomato broth/sauce was probably the best I’ve tasted in a long time. (If I could have ordered just that sauce to take home I would’ve). The chicken was tender and the flavors of the piccata were perfect. We were very happy with our dinner and would definitely visit again if/when we return to Denver!

Celebrating a birthday and we made a reservation and we’re immediately sat down at a great table. Food was amazing! Staff were amazing and the drinks were flowing. I was the DD so don’t worry I was served great coffee and water.

Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Staff is professional.

I grew up in Boston and lived in New York for a while and I consider their Italian restaurants to be authentic Italian American food that is my basis for comparing everything to. This is the only place I’ve found so far in the Denver area that even comes close to authentic and is just as good as anything you would find in those places. As someone who loves Italian food and misses home, that is the highest compliment I can give.

One thing I have to mention is the surcharge on the bill. A 2% fee that goes to the kitchen staff is added onto the bill. It’s only 2% and not a big deal at all, but I really HATE this trend. Just adjust your prices and pay your staff like every other business in the world. It’s clearly a political statement and your gruff with local politicians requiring you to pay your employees a living wage doesn’t need to be shoved down the throats of your customers just trying to enjoy a meal. Complaining about having to pay your employees on your menu, especially when you just bought the building for $2.6million, is sleazy and in poor taste. You can afford to pay your staff 2% more. Get over it.

Went here for the first time in a group of 3. We had the lasagna, lobster ravioli and the manicotti. We all loved our food. The cocktails were great, I especially love that they carry blue cheese stuffed olives for my martinis. Our server Chrissy was amazing, I don’t usually have servers that check in at the table at just the right time but she was perfect and on point. Gotta love their mob branding and pinup girl business cards. Will definitely be back.

The restaurant has been there 70 years and they know what they're doing. The food was DE-LI-CIOUS! The service was very friendly and inviting. 4 stars for atmosphere only because it's loud. The place was packed mid-week which is a GREAT sign. Highly recommend!

Old school gem! The service is so great. The happy hour menu is small, but contains all of the classics including an excellent wedge salad & shishito peppers. The chicken parmesan was generous and very delicious. The beverages were good too. The recommended Chianti pairing with the chicken parm was spot on.

Fantastic Italian food and desserts, especially the seafood pasta options. The Tiramasu is insanely delightful and made in house.

We had time to spare before a dinner reservation close by - so popped in for a snack and a cocktail. Can't wait to go again for dinner, as we loved the environment! Felt like we had been thrown into time with Italian memorabilia sprinkled throughout! Our appetizer was accompanied by a marinara VERY reminiscent of my Sicilian grandmother!! So delish! The server was chatty and friendly. Super fun!

It is one of the best restaurant atmospheres I've experienced in a very long time! The food is fantastic; the service is impeccable. The bar has a great selection. They make the drinks old style. They don't use permade mixers. The whiskey sours are fantastic. If you're a fan of veal parmesan, you will not be disappointed! Treat yourself to a wonderful experience. Make a reservation, or you'll need to luck out and dine at the bar. Goodfellas atmosphere meets great food!

I kinda went off menu which was annoying of me but Dasha was so cute and accommodating!! The gnocchi is mouth watering especially with the Gorgonzola sauce! Came back a couple days later and was served by Chrissy who was truly the most amazing person to exist and her recommendations were perfect!! 12/10

This was my first time coming here. I really liked the atmosphere it definitely gives old school Italian dining. Food was good and portions are decent. It is pricey but I didn't mind paying as it was my mom's birthday so I wanted it to be special and they indeed made it special for her. They brought her some tiramisu which was so delicious with a candle in it. Our server was so nice 😊.

I'm Sicilian and grew up with authentic homemade Italian food...so Italian places are hard for me. Gaetanos was a joy to go to...great atmosphere. Like old time Chicago. The garlic bread and sauce is outstanding. And a good sauce in a restaurant is hard to find...this one is great with a little bite to it which I love. We ordered meatballs for an appetizer...they were very good. Probably the best yet at a restaurant. I had chicken picatta...I thought the sauce was too runny and the chicken wasn't as moist and juicy as I expected but all the flavors were there. We also ordered lasagna...my husband loved it...very flavorful. We had a bite of our friends chicken parmesan and it was also very good. The lemon cake was good but the cannolis were outstanding. Don't let the orange flavor put you off you can hardly taste it. I loved this place and am happy to say I finally have a regular spot to go to. Looking forward to trying more of their menu next time.

We've been back a number of times since my first review...their sausage is outstanding, loster ravioli is exceptional and gnocchi was amazing. My fav place to eat Italian BY FAR.

This was a gift from my in laws as a late anniversary offer. The atmosphere gives big family dinner get togethers with lots of laughter and good times to be had. Once we got over the initial communication snafu we were seated out on the patio where it was a bit quieter and more intimate. The staff was all engaging and both service and food was prompt and very well done.
