I am so thankful I found Denver Smiles! I am anxious and a bit fearful of going to the dentist, and they immediately made me feel at ease. Dental Hygienist Jess was very warm and welcoming. She explained everything before and as it was happening and chatted with me about my life and what I enjoyed to take my mind off the exam! She showed me my x-rays and really made me a part of the visit. Also just a genuinely warm and engaging person!
Dr. Slota was also so kind! Really made me feel at ease and heard. I never felt judged for maybe not taking the best care of my teeth in the past! He also explained everything and let me know what he would suggest in terms of care, but made me feel in control and wanted it to be my decision (as it can be a big one!) So excited to see the future of my teeth under his (and his teams!) skilled hands!

I have been going to Denver smiles for about a year and a half. The whole clinic is really great from the front desk staff to Dr. Slota. Their hygienist Jess is really great and makes cleanings something to look forward to. I have now had a couple of procedures done and the experience was as great as having dental work can be. I was quiet anxious and both Dr Slota and his assistant Nyah were very nurturing and patient with me. Both of them continued to check on my comfort level throughout the entire procedure making sure I was as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend coming here especially if you have any sort of dental anxiety.

Denver Smiles is truly amazing ❤ They are thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I have never been to a dentist that is so respectful & overall helpful. They are always happy to explain and answer any questions, they ease any worries, and they are full of encouragement & kind words. I am always greeted personally by the sweet ladies up front and Jess is definitely the best dental hygienist ever. She eased my worries and has given me confidence that I can get my smile healthy again. Dr. Slota is also so kind, and he is truly the best Doctor there is. Thank you for everything! 😁

The staff always makes me feel comfortable and safe. The drive from Thornton to Lakewood is worth it every time! If you want great, professional and quality dental care, I recommend this office!

Great experience. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I learned more in this visit than I have in all my other dental visits combined. They strive to make sure their patients are thriving. I sometimes have anxiety at the dentist, but I truly enjoyed this visit.

I've been coming here for the last 6 years and I can't say enough good things about the staff in general. Highly skilled and great people through and through. Dr. Slota has been a godsend to me and even though I personally struggle with keeping my teeth perfect and have had a lot of work done, he and his staff are always there to put my mind at ease and help me through options while getting done what needs to get done. Jess was so patient and awesome with our 4 year old for his first dentist visit! We love her for our visits, too! Julissa makes scheduling easy and helps everyone feel welcome, always remembering personal details and asking how everyone is doing. ☺

I absolutely LOVE the team at Denver Smiles! They were referred to me when I moved to Denver due to my extensive dental care needs, I am in the office quite a few times a year and the entire team makes me feel like part of the family. Dr. Slota is great, Jess is an excellent hygienist, and the entire team is so sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend!!!

Love this place DR. Slota had me in and out in under an hour for 2 wisdoms teeth, pain free and absolutely remarkable!!!!

I have been going here since moving to Colorado from Ohio in 2019. Originally was in to see Dr Slota for wisdom teeth removal. That was a perfect procedure and now I go for regular cleanings and happily drive from Colorado Springs to see this team. They are professional, fun, and care! Lastly, Jess is the absolute best!

This is an incredible office and with an amazing service and care. I started my experience with a lot of issues coming from another place where I was treated like I have no hope and I felt judged. Dr Slota and the whole staff here are very knowledgeable, caring, sweet, and fun. My whole family is in great hands and I truly recommend them to anyone who needs from a simple cleaning to major dental work. Jess is the only one I trust with my regular cleaning and the front office staff is very sweet and thoughtful and will take care of you every time.

Dr. Slota has been my dentist (and my children) since 2007. He is an incredible dentist! He is a true artist, expert, leader, and educator in his field. My overall dental health has never been better. Selfishly speaking, I dread the day that he retires. I hope he continues to practice for many years.
