Dojo Source

What can't I say about this dojo? Sensei Jeff is so great with kids and his love for what he does really shines through. My 17 year old hasn't had the easiest life, being on the autism spectrum, and despite being an awesome kid some haven't seen all the gifts my son has but Sensei Jeff brings that out of him and I see a confidence in him that seemed to be hidden until we started going to Dojo Source. It's a tight knit dojo where you really feel like the other members are a part of your family and feel their wins as if they were family. I would highly recommend this school if you want to feel like you're a part of something special with an amazing leader at the helm.

The Dojo Source has made my seven-year-old son’s introduction to martial arts a wonderful one! Sensei Jeff is a remarkable teacher. He leads with a gentle, positive, kind, respectful, and professional demeanor. Classes are small, and students stay engaged with a structured mix of meditation, warmups, skill practice, and skills-based games that keep kids laughing and focused simultaneously. Families have quite a bit of flexibility in choosing from various class times each week. We also love that the prices are very reasonable, and there’s no pressure to commit long term. I strongly recommend this business as a safe, healthy, body positive, and inclusive environment that offers personalized, focused, and highly motivating instruction for learners of all levels and backgrounds.

This is an amazing place to learn! Sensei Jeff is wonderful with my kids. We started with my son (12) and then added my daughter (4). They both absolutely love going here. They know that it's work first and then they get to play after they get through the work. Great way to learn respect and attitude (among others). And, it looked so fun I decided to join too!

Dojo Source and Sensei Jeff have been absolutely wonderful for our now 8 year old who has been going to age specific and group classes for 2 years now. Jeff is WONDERFUL with not just our son but the entire class. On top of that, the summer camp was fantastic, "ninja nights" for a parents night out and birthday parties have all been top notch!

We have been attending Dojo Source for about a year now and my son old absolutely loves it. Sensei Jeff and Sensei Walker are great with kids, teens, and adults. They have wonderful relationships with their students, which leaves the environment of the Dojo to always be welcoming and fun. My 3 children have trained with Jeff and Walker for 3 years and the community is so lucky to have Dojo Source Martial Arts. Walker and Jeff are both practical, thoughtful and energetic instructors with many years of teaching both adults and children of all ages and skill level. In addition to being accomplished martial artists, they also have a knack for connecting with pretty much everyone. What makes Dojo Source extra special is that parents can fitness train while they wait for their kids. In addition to kids classes, they also offer adult martial arts and women's self-defense classes. Don't miss out!

Dojo Source is great! We have been attending for a few months now and have been getting so much out of the programs. I do the fitness routines while my son is in the martial arts classes. Sensei Jeff and Sensei Walker strive to challenge and uplift us in every way. They really care about instilling the values of martial arts on the kids (and adults), not just teaching fun moves.

The classes are fun and encouraging while also increasing your child's skill level, whether your kiddo is a beginner or more advanced. Senseis Walker and Jeff are both excellent and experienced teachers; all classes are taught directly by one of them which means your child always gets individualized coaching and instruction from a high ranking instructor-- this is a huge benefit in the world of martial arts!

When I moved to Arvada I started looking for a place to train in martial arts. There are lots to different dojos in the area to choose from. I chose Dojo Source because of the leadership of Sensei Jeff and Sensei Walker. They are passionate, dedicated, knowledgable and highly skilled. I felt like I could meet my goals and enjoy practicing at Dojo Source.

Just what I was looking for! Both Sensei Jeff and Sensei Walker are welcoming and fun to work with. My boys enjoy the work outs not only for the training, but the unique games and methods for building strength. For me, as a Mom with the expected crazy schedule, I love the self defense I am learning while getting exercize.

This is a great dojo. Both Sensei Walker & Sensei Jeff are great. They are fun to train with and always willing to go over anything that you need help with until you get it. I take the adult class and the fitness before hand. You will definitely get a workout.

Happy with both of the sensei. Also the value is great. These guys really get to know the students and have effectively 1on1 quality training in a group setting.
