Black Rock Steakhouse

Really enjoyed this place! Easy booking online, amazing food and service. We ordered tuna as an appetizer ( Pic attached), haddock, and Argentinian steak, and both come with a variety of side dishes. I got garlic mash and house salad. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Service was also very good.

One of the best restaurants in the Stowe and Killington area. About 20 minutes from Okemo but well worth the drive

First time there and had a great time. They have a great menu and prices won't break the bank. Our waitress was awesome and attentive to our group of 9. We were there for a birthday celebration and were surprised when they brought out a nice cake for all of us, no charge! We'll be back for sure.

Wow, middle of somewhere restaurant, full parking lot for a reason. The menu is huge, and so are the servings, and the prices were very reasonable. The hot rock steaks were a fun experience. All the dishes expertly prepared and presented with great flavor. Very much worth the drive!

Had a great lunch to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. Our waitress, Natalie, did a great job with helping us in any way she could. There were 12 of us and our food was brought to us all at the same time. The food was delicious and the prices were surprisingly low considering the area and the freshness. Overall it was a great place and definitely would return.

Well if you like good food and cuddles from strangers then this is the place for you it's packed all the time as the food is Soo good drinks are good and staff is stressed to the max making sure your getting great service.
But I wish they had some more square footage .. hard to get a seat sometimes and your typicaly packed around other people elbow to elbow of you chose the bar

Really great experience here, we enjoyed the food a lot and they are all big dishes. The beef on the rock is so special, I can cook it on the rock! I like it a lot! The soup tastes good as well, I love the curry chicken!

A good overall experience. Arrived 10mins early for a reservation and seated immediately. My family enjoyed the varied menu and being able to order steak, seafood or pasta. The drinks and the portions are enormous, but the ahi tuna appetizer was particularly good. Service was friendly, timely and never very far away. Not the cheapest but recommended.

Come for the food! Stay for the food! What a pleasant surprise to run across this place in Springfield. We had been looking for a breakfast place (no luck there) when the lunch hour arrived and we saw people gathering outside. We shared a 16 oz NY and the Seafood Bake- swordfish, lobster, shrimp, sea scallop. Everything was fresh, prepared perfectly. There’s not much atmosphere but frankly you will not care because the food is so good!

Delicious food, good service and delicious margarita. In addition to the children's dish that looks more like an adult meal with so much food that comes with it, we had to help our daughter eat.

10/10 recommend this restaurant. Especially if you're looking for a nicer place to go to for special occasions!!

It's obviously pricey compared to your average chain restaurant, but this is WORTH IT. Every penny is worth it. The steak melts in your mouth, the Bang Bang shrimp is packed with flavor, the mashed potatoes were creamy, generous glasses of wine, everything was amazing.

Shout out to our waitress Kayla who gave us a HUGE cake for my husband's birthday. Not a slice. A WHOLE CAKE.

We will be going back and we will be bringing EVERYONE with us.

Great food & drinks. Great atmosphere. I ordered the Burger and Filet Mignon. My burger was a little over cooked than I ordered but still good. My Filet Mignon was awesome. A friend I was with ordered Haddock and I tried a bite of it and it was perfect. Out waiter was friendly along with other staff & made sure we had everything to enjoy our nice meal. Highly recommend this steak house

This place really surprised me. I’m glad we made a reservation because they were very busy. I ordered the New York strip steak on the rock. This was very cool! I highly recommend that you order anything on the rock. I cooked my steak on my own personal lava rock that was heated in an 800 degree stove. One thing they need to consider changing are the plastic cups to glass cups. They serve complementary popovers, and have cloth napkins. It just seemed tacky to have these plastic cups that say Coca-Cola on them. Otherwise the staff was very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our meal immensely!

This is a hidden gem that's worth driving to! Food and service is exceldon't.

I had the Wagyu beef cheeseburger. It was excellent! My blueberry beer was also delicious. Couldn't believe the burger was only $16 since it was made with Wagyu beef. I also had the fries that came with the meal and ordered a side of potato salad. It was homemade as were the fries.
You should see the tomahawk steaks!!!

Hands down the best steak I've ever had! Well worth the hour drive here, and I'll be back for more! I chose to have the stone which cooks in front of you, it was amazing. I got the filet and it was by far the best I've ever had. The pic shows it raw basically but it cooks fast on the stone. Absolutely delicious.

The food is awesome, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Top notch place to eat. My family traveled 40 minutes to go here to eat, it is that good. Highly recommended! Thank you Black Rock for an amazing meal.

We love this place! We drive over an hour because the food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. The tomahawk steak is incredible, give it a try, plenty for 2 people.

The food was delicious. The service was great. It was really quiet-we were there for a late lunch (2PM) so we avoided the lunch and dinner crowds.

Sure, call me a steak snob but the thought of eating at a steakhouse in Springfield, Vermont on Rt 106 wasn't exactly my idea of fine dining but we were desperate. We hadn't eaten all day and we needed nourishment badly. Well, paint my face red because the NY Strip was great. Medium rare - done perfectly. Baked potato, creamed spinach and the sauteed onions were spot on. I couldn't wait to get back home to Long Island where many of us steak snobs come from and write this review. It was a wonderful dining experience and I encourage everyone reading this to check it out. We will return the next time we're passing through Springfield - or thereabouts.......
