I started using this pharmacy during the Adderall shortage. I had become increasing frustrated with the grueling process of calling around to multiple bigger chain locations and still never finding my ADHD medication in stock. I decided to try a small pharmacy that would hopefully have more reliable stock of my medications. Union Square did not let me down. This place is a hidden gem. First of all, it's not nearly as busy as other pharmacies I've been too. At my last pharmacy, I would frequently have to wait a half hour in line and getting people on the phone was near impossible. Not the case here. The staff is not only available, they are also kind, helpful, communicative and thorough. Since it's a smaller location, every step of the medication buying process feels more personalized. The only downside is that they sometimes have my prescriptions on back order. However, when this has happened, the medication has come in within a few days. As long as you plan ahead, this shouldn't cause too much of an issue. Highly recommend this location, especially if you've been disappointed with your experiences at larger pharmacies.

Came to this pharmacy for the first time to fill my dogs meds (controlled substance so it’s hard to get). Staff was friendly, fast and most importantly took the time to explain a few things to me which no other pharmacy has done. I highly recommend!

Huge shout out to this wonderful hidden gem. If you’re a huge fan of customer service and traditional pharmacies, check this place out. When we moved to Colorado a few years ago I tried so hard to find a small compounding pharmacy with little luck. We used Peoples but they closed shortly after.
A mishap with a prescription led me to a small pharmacy who recommended Union, & they are nice, quick, efficient and knowledgeable.

We have been with Union Square Pharmacy for a long time now. We love them! They are very quick to fill prescriptions and always have the best prices. They are who we plan to use for the foreseeable future and I recommend them to everyone!

I used this pharmacy today for the first time recommend by my veterinarian I usually use another compound pharmacy for medications for my cat but I was in a pinch today and they were closer being I’m disabled and don’t drive so I made a change and oh boy am I glad I did, but let me say this first before I give you my rating I read all of the reviews out of fifteen of them only five were good I never gave it a second thought to not use them because we are all humans and we are not perfect so for all you judge mental customers out there you need to take a step back and realize your not the only customer and sure your feedback is important to let them know what can be improved but just remember your criticism does not help, I think it just may make you feel better. I was very impressed with this company I hung up with my veterinarian and not ten minutes later I got a phone call from the pharmacy letting me know my cats prescription was ready I almost dropped the phone and the prices are fantastic bless them, and when I went to pick it up the technician at the front desk was very knowledgeable and kind and made sure I understood the changes my veterinarian made for my cats prescription. Excellent pharmacy owned by small business owner, John. Please encourage such businesses owned by local people. I have used their services since it was owned by the previous owner, Bob, more than twenty years ago.

I had to stop using their services since I was moving out of Denver temporarily.

Union Square Pharmacy is AWSOME! When I need anything compounded I give the veterinarian Union Square's number. It is a half an hour drive for me but so worth it. My cat was hospitalized for 2 day's with a horriable infection, when released the antibiotics were in a liquidd form and half the dose ended up on me and her (2Ml's is a lot of horriable tasting fluid to get down). I spoke to the doctor and had them send in a script to be compounded so we could give it in pill form. I called to make sure that they received the prescription and thought that I wouldn't get it until tomorrow since it had not been called in until the afternoon but they already had it prepared! I was picturing having to wrestle and torcher her again (she's still really sick) to maybe get half of it actually down her throat and worried that her dose was short for at least 2 more doses. That is not what happened, I am sitting here happy and relaxed. I was able to pop it in her mouth, it went right down and gave her a treat. Thank you for helping my kitty get better and making life so much easier for my husband, kitty and I.

I stocked my entire first aid kit here. The prices are on par on lower than the grocery store and chain pharmacies. The pharmacist was super helpful when I needed a recommendation for a dermatologist that does prescribe compounds of medicines. Today, he spent six minutes on the phone with me to talk with me about my health history and recommend a nearby doctor.

I cannot say enough about Union Square Pharmacy and the owner/head pharmacist John Urrutia R. Ph. When I was looking for a prescription service for my elderly parents in the Denver Metro area, I called at least 10 pharmacies hoping one of them would offer the service I was seeking. Call after call, the answer I got was, "No, we don't do that here", until I called UNION SQUARE PHARMACY. John went out of his way to resource the materials necessary and provide a service that they had not done previously. His willingness to go the extra mile and then ensure that my parents would have their prescriptions delivered to them, goes way beyond the "status quo". If ever I return to the Denver area, Union Square will have a loyal customer for life. Thank you so much!

Great for compounding medication for pets. Not many pharmacies even do this anymore. I know a lot of the big chain pharmacies won't even try. They say it's too hard. Okay!
