Shemer Randy DO

I absolutely love Dr Shemer and his staff. I have been going to him for over 20 years minus a few years when I was living away from Beaver Co. I returned to him and the area after having a bad car accident that left me with many broken bones and a brain injury. When I started back with him two years ago I was in a wheelchair. With his help recommending physical therapy, therapy for my PTSD (fear of driving) and encouragement I am now walking again and starting to drive again. He always takes his time to listen to what I'm going through and takes his time with me. He is very compassionate and caring and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new PCP.

Dr Randy Shemer has been my PCP for over 20 years! He is very thorough, personable and cares about his patients! If he cannot treat my specific need, he will refer me to a specialist that has always been great as well! I am also a caregiver to one of his elderly patients, and he is always so good with her! (She won’t go to anyone else!) His office staff are always very friendly, helpful and responsive and you can call and actually speak to someone!! 😉 I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a new dr!

Dr. Shemer has been wonderful! He is very professional but caring about his patients! You are definitely not another number to him. You matter! His office staff is so lovely and always nice and smiley! It truly makes you want to come back! I will continue going here for years to come! I recommend everyone i see to Dr. Shemer’s office! If there was a 10 star rating I’d give them that. They’ve exceeded all expectations and continue to do so! It’s wonderful having a Doctors office that you can’t wait to go back to. 10/5 absolutely recommend!

Dr shemer is not only one of the most gentle and kind souls but an amazing and knowledgeable physician. He takes care of my husband, my Dad, took amazing care of my late mother and of course takes care of me. The skills he possess and the ability to be an incredible diagnostician (and always spot on) is something that is hard to find in a doc. He takes the time to listen and talk with you (not at you) it is always about the patient and doing the right thing and never about insurance or money. SO REFRESHING. I would recommend Dr shemer for anyone who wants the knowledge skills and bedside manner wrapped up in one.

Best doctor around most compassionate and knowledgeable has been taking care of our family for generations will continue to recommend. Staff is caring and accommodating as they can be. Then the pup makes it feel like home. If you need a good doctor he is the one to go to it's about your health not social media.

Dr. Shemer is without qualification the finest PCP I have ever had. His level of personal concern and ability to truly listen to my needs is exceptional. I would readily and highly recommend him to anyone who needs a PCP who "thinks outside the box." He is a Godsend.

I really appreciated his work.
He has been with me through my biggest health issues and new exactly what was needed.
When Dr's were permitted to make rounds at HV he would stop in and really chat to find out what was going on and stand for the patient.
I use VA now, but Shemer will always be my outside Dr.

I was in need of finding a primary Dr.for myself.i look high and low for a Dr.to take care of my illness.My last Dr just pick up and left.My health was getting worse until I found Dr Shemer.At first I was unsure of whether Dr. SHEMER was the dr for me.He did lots of of testing which included Bloodwork. M.R.I. catscans ect.He explained to me that It was important that he.had to put me through all this testing in order to know how to treat me.He changed my meds lower the doses that I was to continue taking.it took about two months and I was back to becoming more healthier.I was blessed to find Dr Shemer.i finally found a doctor who was intelligent and caring of all my heath issues.I couldn't thank him him enough.Your the best Dr. Shemer.
