They sent me a delinquent notice, however when I called and explained, they were super understanding and told me to pay when able...which was the day I called to explain

Exceptional service! Ellwood Electric is owned by the borough. Revenue from Ellwood Electric help to share the cost of community services such as police, fire, road and parks with renters rather than homeowners bearing the full cost. When severe weather causes power outages, Ellwood Electric crews have our power restored while other areas are still waiting for Penn Power or First Energy crews to show up.

I gave 4 rather than 5 stars because Borough bill include electric, sewage and recycling fees - people state the total for all services as electric cost and it causes confusion.

How can anyone do business in this town when the gatekeeping borough workers don't answer the phone ever?

Jerks! Emailed twice asking a question. They never answered me. Hospitality here already sucks. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews all over the net about this town.

Worst place ever the borough ain't nothing but scam artist in suits they rip off everyone and are trash there people skills are a joke if you can get ahold of them they sell there own electric at double the cost to rape there community they ain't nothing but theives
