West Penn Painting LLC.

I have used this company before.... they were very professional and it was a job well done highly recommend!!!!!

We had a very negative, unprofessional experience with West Penn Painting - so much so that we had to file a complaint with the BBB - here is the text of the complaint --
Signed a contract with West Penn Painting (owner Tom McKee) to refinish stairs - a check for $1,280 was given to Mr. McKee as a deposit. Work was to begin in October 2020. From October 5 thru November 4 we tried to contact Mr. McKee seven times - never received a reply. On November 14 we were told by a third party that worked with Mr. McKee that (1) Mr. McKee was no longer interested in doing the work and (2) Mr. McKee would return our deposit within a week. On January 4, 2021 an e-mail was sent to Mr. McKee - again requesting our deposit be returned. As of January 21, 2021 - the deposit has not been returned.
After filing the complaint we got our deposit back in 4 days. What was surprising to us is these folks painted the inside of our house - twice - no issues. I realize one bad experience does not define a company, but I wanted you all to at least be aware of the potential. Obviously we will never use West Penn Painting again.
