Butcher & Son Public House

Wow! The reviews were spot on. It felt like Butcher & Son belongs downtown it's that good. We got a bottle of local wine to start. The Old Fashioned Whiskey drinks were great. The food was stellar. Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps stole the show with that Chipotle Sauce! The Pretzels were good and the Smoke House Burger was excellent! We will be frequenting this spot. Thank you!

I can’t begin to explain how great the food, service, and hospitality here at Butcher & Son was. Unbelievable beer selection, accommodating outdoor seating, and wonderful atmosphere. Yinzer burger was over the top!

Such a nice dining experience. We’ve been there at least a half-dozen times, and it hasn’t disappointed yet. I recently got their “The King” burger, and it was one of the top 5 burgers I have EVER had. Check out the description and KEEP AN OPEN MIND: “American, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Fried Egg, Peanut Butter, Banana, Mayo & Pickle.” That’s right, bacon, egg, peanut butter AND banana. Had it again today and it was as good as the first time. The Albuquerque Chili hits a good combination of sweet and heat. My bride enjoyed her wings.

Beer selection: in bottles, very very good. On draft? I’m gonna say “adequate.”

Also, I have to mention that the music selection they play is terrific, almost curated. Every time we’ve gone, there has been an eclectic mixture of deep cuts, mostly 60s garage and 90s alt-rock.

Throw in friendly service and there’s plenty of reasons stop in. Well done, Butcher & Son, well done.

Our absolute favorite restaurant. It’s so refreshing to have such a modern, hip, and delicious restaurant right down the road to us. We frequent Butcher and Son at least once a week, and have a wonderful experience each and every time. Their burgers are the best you could possibly ask for and their local craft beers are a huge selling point for us too! Everything is fresh, local, and homemade. The restaurant is very clean and they have done a wonderful job implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols during this pandemic, despite how difficult it has been for the restaurant industry. Matt and his staff are always friendly, very welcoming, and you can tell they care greatly about their work, their customers, and each other! Such great vibes, and we will always recommend to everybody we know 🙂

We went there for the first time on December 27 and it was great! The food was really good and our service was prompt and accurate. The parking lot is a bit dark and it was hard to figure out where to enter the building in the dark, but those things were quickly overcome by to food and service. I had the All American burger and the tater tots and both were phenomenal. The burger was ordered medium and came as ordered. The tots were nice and homey/comfort food for me. Everyone else at our table was also pleased with their food and the server was properly attentive. Can't wait to go back again!

This place is amazing! The food was fantastic. I had the butcher burger with Chilli cheese fires. Burger was delicious, and cooked perfectly. Chilli cheese fries could have been a satisfying entire on their own. I also tried the chicken thighs which were delicious, and juicy. The ufb hotsause is great. Lots of kick but not enough heat to make you sweat. Beers where nice and cold, and our service was top notch. We will be returning. Especially when the weather is nice, and the outside seating can be used.

Food was very good. Service was excellent! Atmosphere was good. Outdoor dining is probably great when warmer weather starts. Many beer choices, mostly cans from many local Pa. breweries. Adequate bar.

Just ate at butcher & son tonight. It is truly a hidden gem in beaver county. The food wasn’t good, it was excellent! The clean, modern, and laid back atmosphere paired with grade A service from our bartender/server Jess, made for a most enjoyable place to go have a bite. I would strongly recommend to anybody, to go experience it for yourself.

We had a wonderful waitress that greeted us in under one minute of sitting down and was extremely attentive to our needs. It was the first warm spring day so there was lots of activity both inside and out. The food exceeded our expectations, after spending the last decade at a Foodservice company I can vouch for the fresh and local feel of the product. Prices are better than current market especially after post Covid conditions & inflation.
Locals have mourned the loss of what once was Barneys - but this is going to be a perfect replacement - Glad you are here!

Went for lunch food was delicious ! Got a burger with blue cheese and bacon. Fresh cut fries and draft beer. Super nice patio also. Very friendly staff

Went here for the first time and have no idea why I waited so long! Everything was incredible. Ordered the pretzels which came out with this butter garlic sauce over them which was really good. Ordered the boneless wings and you can tell they're absolutely hand made in the restaurant, not frozen already bought wings like most places have. Ordered 2 sauces on the side for that and was very impressed with both. And finally ordered the smokehouse burger (didn't need to because we were already stuffed but had to try it) and it was just as good as I expected. Bacon and bbq sauce were both fantastic and the burger(while slightly undercooked how I ordered it) was still bomb.com. Will 100% be back soon. Oh ya and our server Ari was great and super attentive as well! See yinz soon!

Stopped by just to try it out. What a great experience. Service was great, great beer choices. Menu offered a nice variety. Definitely going to be a place that we go to regularly.

After experiencing Kendrews I lost all faith in restaurants in Aliquippa. Then we went to Butcher and Son Public House and my faith was restored. The food was amazing (I can't stop gushing over the pork belly lettuce wraps) and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The draft list had a good mix of styles of craft beers. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying other foods on the menu. The only downfall is they have Pepsi not Coke, but I'm definitely willing to look past that since the food and atmosphere was so good. I have never been to the previous restaurant at this location to compare, but I definitely would recommend Butcher and Son.

Butcher and son has fabulous bartenders who serve up proper drinks with kindness, warmth, and personality. The cook Patrick is tremendous and the owner Matt is passionate about service to the customers. The menu is delectable! Try them out you will not be disappointed!

Great food with new and exciting menu options frequently. The staff are all very nice, attentive, and engaging. This place corners the market for actual good food in the area, no other place compares.

I was grubhubing. Was greeted with an angry woman. However it appeared the Grubhub was using me to get their foot in the door with this restaurant who doesn't accept grubhub. The restaurant was nice and clean from what I could see. Food smelled good. Do not order online with grubhub though. Not sure if they deliver or not and or use any other company.

Excellent food and beer selection. The service was great and the restrooms were spotless. We had a table of 6 and dont have anything but good things to say. Cant wait to go back!

Got the piggy smalls burger and it was amazing. This area doesn't quite have this level of pub food. I was surprised since typically you have to drive to Robinson or further to get something like this.
