Ive heard such good things about Nico's for so long, so I decided to finally take myself.
Ordered to-go. Had a slice of pizza as soon as i got back to my suv and WOW its fantastic! Very similar to a traditional NY style pizza. Immediately reminded me of the slice in had in Watkins Glen NY. wonderful!
I'm all about a car ride home appetizer. ordered the fried zucchini, and it was delicious. Dinner was the chicken parm sandwich, and it was massive, for starters. the bread roll it was on was tasty and the sandwich was ooverall, a really great pick. can't wait to go back for a sit-down dinner!!

Little hidden gem, unique log cabin feel , food divine! Love this place! Only wish we lived closer. But worth the drive.we will return. White pizza was perfect! Wedding soup delicious! Fried zucchini with your marinara to die for.
I have to mention a couple, that sat across from us had spaghetti and meatballs for their dinner. It must have been delicious.because, the entire dinner the husband kept saying yum with every mouthful of food!

Very tasty! Wedding soup and white pizza were delicious. Not salty. Pasta with sundried tomatoes and artichokes wad excellent. Full of flavor.

While visiting relatives I asked for a recommendation for Italian food--Nico's did not disappoint. Fantastic food! Appetizer platter had good variety. Eggplant entree was spot on. Wedding soup superb.
Atmosphere was pizzeria style--clean & family friendly.

Unique Italian experience. It doesn’t look like an Italian eatery but the food was excellent. Maybe the best marinara sauce I’ve evert had and it comes with everything. The bread was hot, fresh and delicious. Cozy cabin like ambiance, fast lunch service. The friend ricotta balls were very good. The Guinness fish was cooked beyond perfect. Steak salad was cooked to perfection. I didn’t like the Italian dressing, it wasn’t seasoned enough for me, that’s a personal preference. You won’t be disappointed if you stop here. Seriously recommend…… I went back on Mother’s Day and OMG!!! Best Italian I’ve ever had and the people couldn’t have made you feel more welcome or like you are part of their Italian family. Gabby was our server and she was beyond tremendous! Another lady came back from the kitchen to see how we were doing and gave out 1 year old a meatball with sauce front kitchen just because. That’s what makes these Powell amazing. Please go out if your way to eat here. The gnocchi is handmade and superb!!!!

Had the wedding soup, tasted so good my son and I were fighting over it, fried ravioli- wanted to eat all of them myself, the cheese was so delicious I felt like they had to of been handmade. By the time the pizzas got there I was stuffed but managed to eat a slice because of how delicious it was. It was a busy day for Mother’s Day but man service was exceptional. I was so thirsty but my drink was never empty and every time we emptied a plate, that dirty plate was gone in a flash. I can’t wait to go back and try more food!!

Went back, tried the zucchini. We ate all in about 5 minutes and I was dying for more. Pizza was great.

I took my mom and my aunt out for dinner last night it was absolutely awesome Kaylin our waitress was so patient I loved her very much so she was such a great waitress the food was awesome the atmosphere was awesome the company that I had was awesome I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back and I will ask for the waitress Caitlin.

WHY did we wait so long to go here? So cozy, super friendly, and WOW the food. Amazing. We were stuffed. I can't wait to go back and try something else.

The service is unmatched, everyone is non-stop. The food is in huge portions and so good. I wish we lived closer because we love coming here!

Delicious and reasonably priced. LOVE it! Excellent meatballs, THE best eggplant parmesan ever!

Amazing food, amazing portions and low prices when compared to the portions they give...split a single chicken Alfredo between 2 people, the waitress was kind enough to bring it already split up to 2 different dishes and it was enough to fill up both people...also didn't charge us for 2 ppl to eat that single meal. 10/10 the best spot in ellwood for a family dinner

Our family has been dining at Nico's for years and the food is always delicious and you will always have food to take home! I have read some of the negative comments and the number one complaint is irritation with not being seated until all guests are present. They have this posted at entrance so it should not be a surprise, and it makes good sense! I saw people state they need music, there is always music playing when we dine here. Most all of the servers are friendly, polite and attentive. We have never ordered take out so I can't comment on that. Their menu is quite extensive, there is something for everyone!

Food is amazing! I had the stuffed eggplant and my boyfriend had a calzone. He said it was the best he’s ever had. The service was good and the restaurant itself is very nice. The meals are reasonably priced. We will definitely be dining here again.

The food was amazing. The service was also amazing, and the log cabin atmosphere was perfect for a cold rainy day. I will be back.

If I can give the atmosphere a 6th star I will. It is not a small restaurant. In physical space, perhaps, but the building endeared a wonderful feeling of openness because of the lighting contrasting with the sturdy logs as well as the high ceilings.

Remember, the prices on food are brilliant for what is given to us in portion size and the quality.

I was not given a less than mediocre quality Philly Steak Sandwich. It far surpassed the possibilities in my mind, therefore went beyond expectation.

I really enjoyed stopping here today! Nice restaurant very rustic inside. I went for the buffalo chicken calzone. It was perfect nice crispy out side packed full on chicken and cheese for only 7.99. can't beat it. It was very clean and the waitresses were very friendly! Definitely be going back again!

Best pizza! Thick chewy crust. Plenty of toppings, delicious sauce and tons of cheese. Tastes homemade. Great price. Definitely recommended!

Food was very good, service was fast and the atmosphere was very nice.

Amazing food and staff. If you're in the mood for a comfortable atmosphere and home Italian cooking you will love this. Everyone here is also so friendly and everything on the menu is a great choice. Best fried zucchini in western PA!
