Hinsdale RV Resort & Campground

We had a really nice weekend at Hinsdale Campground. We live just across the river but wanted to sleep in our new tent and have an easy getaway. Such a sweet place to visit with kids! The office attendant was warm and helpful. The facilities, bathhouse, and pool were spotless. The pool is big, well maintained, and hidden in the back to make for almost a resort feel. The campsite was wooded and lovely. We talked with some seasonal residents who were the nicest and most welcoming people. It was warm summer nights and the campground was hopping, but it quieted down entirely by 9:30 pm with the only sounds being cracking campfires. I felt like we found a hidden treasure!

My parents were staying here and we went to visit them. They had great a great first impression from the woman working in the office and we had a really quiet, peaceful visit around the campfire. You have to drive through a well-kept trailer park to get to the campground but if you had your eyes closed when you drove in you would never know!

We booked the last pull through site available for 1 night. We were arriving late from Niagra Falls and called for our site number. A man greeted us (owner/manager?) after waiting late for us to arrive and showed us where our spot was located. He was very friendly and went out of his way to help us out. The place has lots of sites and is packed with campers. so they must be doing something right.

Very clean, great pool area, children's activities, best bathroom facilities I've ever seen at any campground, and I've been to a lot. Definitely going to be a returning customer.

Camped here years and years ago on night #2 of a Kayaking trip from Townshend, VT to Northampton, MA. LOVELY campground.

This is a beautiful little area with many fun activities to do. The area is very scenic and relaxing. This place has room for kids to play and adults to relax!

It is a good place to bring your family even if it just for a weekend. Easy access to the ATV trails and just all around fun.
