Looked this place up on a whim and saw it had 4.5 stars. So I thought....."let's stop by to get something for the road." Am I ever happy that I did.... The sesame chicken beats the pants off of most Chinese places. A 5 minute wait tops for great food. House made sauces. Owner has great character! I'll definitely be back!

Small selection but good basic Chinese food for a quick pitstop in the area. Great value and large portions and yummy too. This place is owned by a couple, and they’re really nice and friendly people. They have an outside seating area for people to eat. Make sure to say hi to their 4-legged senior citizen who’s a rescue :) Highly recommend a visit.

Charlie Chen's food is consistently great in my book. I've ate here four or five times when I'm coming through Dubois and I'm never disappointed. He has one of the best egg rolls you will find anywhere in PA. I like them so much I grab a frozen 10 pack to take home with me. If you really want to push your limits...ask Charlie for his homemade hot mustard sauce....dunk that Egg Roll in it and watch your eyes blow out of your head! It's not for the weak I assure you. Charlie you get five stars All Day ~ Every Day

Charlie Chen’s makes the highest quality of food!! I had Lemon Shrimp tonight. It was the most delicious that I have ever eaten!! His lemon sauce was amazing!! I am going to try the Lemon Chicken next. The dumplings were so delish too!! Thank you, Charlie Chen’s!! I will be back soon!! 😍

Great outdoor seating too. Our little munchkin loved the broccoli and getting to meet the owner who came by to say hi!

Great place. They were very nice. They had multiple vegetarian options. The food was a good price and they give you well sized portion!

Charlie Chen's is a go to place for Chinese food. The crab wantons, orange chicken, and Beef with green pepper are our favorites. The service is friendly and personal. We have only had the best experience ever time we go. I highly encourage you to stop in at Charlie Chen's Chinese Kitchen.

Charlie Chens has the best Chinese food hands down. It is the most authentic. I highly recommend the garlic chicken, the hunan and the lomein! The egg rolls are hand made by Charlie himself! Delicious!

Reasonable prices. Awesome food. Their sweet and sour chicken is the best I have ever had (Sauce comes on it). His sauce was perfect and u can get lo mein as the side instead of just rice. I also don’t know any places serving jalapeño rangoon’s either. My Chinese cuisine choice is Charlie Chen’s in Clearfield County. Pittsburgh kid here.

Food was good and staff was very friendly.
Only drawback is that it is a takeaway only place.

my family has always supported charlie and his wife (not sure of her name). they are always kind and always have smiles on their faces! amazing food! i always get crab rangoons and chicken fried rice. if you're visiting dubois i'd highly recommend ordering takeout from them! 😊

This little lunch truck gives you a very good quality food for the money. I went to it years ago and wasn't impressed but recently tried it again and was incredibly impressed the food was fresh and hot the chicken was so tender the flavor is good. The one thing that really makes me happy to go back time and time again is the shrimp egg roll they are so full of flavor and the amount of shrimp can't be topped anywhere in the tricounty area these things are banging
I could go on and on,
and they are building a new walk in store at the location come buy some food and help support the little truck so they can expand

While not a full-service restaurant, the food they serve is very good and very reasonably priced. The business currently operates out of a food cart, with covered outdoor seating available. I stopped by for takeout after noticing they were open, and I definitely was not disappointed! They are certainly a professional operation, and have been for some time. Their inspections are on display, and cleanliness definitely appears to be a priority.
The food is excellent and fresh, with the more common dishes being available. Compared to a full restaurant, the menu is a bit limited, but given the space they are working within, it's completely understandable.
Their location is very handy if you are visiting the Spider Lake Soccer Complex, or if you're in the vicinity of the Catholic schools. It's a bit out of the way with respect to downtown and the Bee-line highway, but it's worth the slight detour.
All-in-all; we will definitely be going back! Good food, nice people, and handy after soccer practice!

Good healthy Chinese dishes at a very reasonable price. Love, love their egg rolls. General Tso's chicken was good, but I'll request it hotter next time. Sesame chicken was quite good. Mrs. Chen is delightful to deal with. I called in ahead, and it was ready minutes after I arrived. A short menu, but a good one! My new favorite place for Chinese carryout.

Freshly made Chinese cuisine. Their menu isn't as large as most eat-in establishments, but they have all the standard fare and their food is definitely top-notch. Nothing skimpy about the portions and very reasonably priced. It's take-out at it's best. Call ahead and they'll have it ready for you when you get there.

Very reasonably priced good food. Super friendly! Charlie and his wife are great, stop by grab some sweet and sour or sesame chicken lo mein or fried rice and splurge with a bigger than average egg roll and a soda or sweet tea all for around $10. Other items are available of course but this is what my wife and I had.
