Longstreth Sporting Goods Store

Great facility to test a wide selection of sticks from numerous brands. Sticks designed for indoors and others for outdoors. An entire section of goalkeepering gear, including helmets and accessories, again from multiple brands. Lots of knowledgeable staff to help customers. Even a demo unit of SkillzMachine was available when I visited.

Since my first review of Longstreth some things have changed. They now sell only field hockey equipment and they are in a new location (photos updated to reflect that move). The rest of my review still stands but has been edited to remove old information.

Longstreth Women's Sporting Goods Store has very knowledgeable and friendly staff in their retail location. They can help the female athlete with all her needs for the sport of field hockey. As I said the staff is knowledgeable about both the products and the sport.

If it is your first time at Longstreth's store, you may find getting into the store difficult, as it is now in their warehouse. You need to drive to the far end of the building and enter in the door at the very end of the lot.

The store features an area where you can try out the equipment before you buy and the staff is there to assist you as well.

Full line of equipment and gear for field hockey as well as apparel and gifts for sports enthusiasts.

Staff where very knowledgeable and helpful. We are new to the sport and staff answered our questions and guided us get everything a goalie will need. (She also have a fair warning ⚠ on the cost, which we appreciated)

No reason to go anywhere else or online if you can drive there.

I cannot say Thank you enough for the amazing service we received while there today. We had called ahead to explain that we were bringing our daughter to try on a new set of goalie gear but that we wanted to secretly purchase and ship it as a surprise Christmas gift. We had two employees help us as one was still in training and they were both phenomenal helping her to try on endless amounts of different styles for each piece of the gear until she found what was most comfortable for her all while also assisting the steady customers walking in. We will never go anywhere else online or in store other than Longstreth. Thank you!

I just shopped at the store for the first time this morning. My daughter and I had a great experience and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Especially Jenna! Jenna was warm and friendly. She guided us to the recommended sticks, gave us space to try them on the turf without hovering, which made my daughter feel comfortable. She also helped size her shin guards and socks so we were able to get exactly what she needed to start up.

Ordered several minky balls for a youth hockey team celebration! They came quickly and were reasonably priced. Perfect for a trophy to celebrate an undefeated season with a group of 10-12 year olds.

Worth the 1+ hour drive from the Lehigh Valley! Betsy took ample time to thoroughly explain the differences in sticks. Daughter was able to try many items before choosing her purchase. Great selection of sticks, apparel, etc. Highly recommend the trip/visit!!!

Excellent customer service. I used the website, and there were some stock issues with the goal I ordered, and questions I had. My emails were responded to immediately and we worked out another item. I also ordered something that didn't qualify for free shipping, and I was contacted right away to confirm I still wanted the item. That's great communication.

Website provided thorough information on each field hockey stick available. The description really helped narrow down which sticks we were considering. Still had a few questions, so I called the store and talked to employee that was extremely knowledgeable. Thank you!! Cannot wait to get our Longstreth package in the mail!!

The customer service is incredible and shipping speed unparalleled. I've always had a good experience shopping with them, but this time- they helped make Christmas wishes come true & for that, I'm so thankful!

Service was fantastic. The knowledgeable staff helped outfit my field hockey goalie into appropriate gear and gave her tips on how to put it on quickly. They were very patient as my daughter weighed her different options. It was worth the drive to make sure that everything fit just right before we bought it.

Great customer service and product knowledge. I know nothing of the products I was purchasing because they were for my daughter who is playing field hockey. One of the sticks I ordered online was not available, Customer Service promptly emailed me. At first I was upset, then they discussed high-quality alternatives and explained the differences. I ended up with a better quality product in the end due to their assistance. My daughter was very satisfied and her teammates complimented her on the new gear.

I've been a loyal Longstreth customer since I was introduced to it five years ago. This is the first, and usually ONLY, store I go to when looking for field hockey equipment! The sales are frequent and fantastic. The return policy is great! I recommend this store to every player and parent looking for equipment. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

This was our first experience ordering gear from Longstreth. I found the website easy to use and the Customer Support/Service was excellent. Not only did they help me choose the right size, they were extremely helpful with shipping issues (caused by our local post office - NOT Longstreth!) I have been purchasing my field hockey gear from Longstreth since middle school and through college. I've never had any issues with ordering, always a quality product and packaging. Now as an adult field hockey player and coach, my needs have shifted slightly but the product ranges helps me meet the criteria I need. Longstreth is great. I have been to their store and ordered online. Both have been great experiences. Ordering online is real easy and they pack and ship right away. If you can, I would definitely recommend visiting their retail store in Spring City also. The store is like no other sporting goods store. You can try out most of the equipment they sell. I went up with my daughter to purchase a new field hockey stick. She must have spent an hour trying out sticks before settling on the one she wanted. All of the employees are very knowledgeable. They are all players or former players. Their prices are very competitive and they are always running sales. Can't say enough about Longstreth. I highly recommend. You can't go wrong.

We are big fans. We have ordered from here for our daughters indoor and outdoor needs. They fill orders quickly, answer comments quickly and are ready and willing to take care of their customers. We live in Ohio and find this is the best place to get all the gear in one location. Geared towards girls sports they know what they are talking about. We've even made a trip out to see the store. They have thought of everything!
