The Dump Furniture Outlet - Closed

This was our first stop looking for an new living room set, it ended up being our only stop. We found a leather set, reasonably priced and exactly what we wanted. The sales person was helpful, thoughtful and did her due diligence to make sure it would fit through our doorways before we committed to it. There was no pressure at all. The set we wanted was the only one they had, so we went over it with. A fine toothed comb and found a few minor blemishes. She was able to knock some additional money off the price. Enough to cover the cost of delivery. The whole transaction was easy and enjoyable. The set was delivered when promised and was in excellent shape. They immediately covered it with plastic and marked it sold so no damage would come to it. I would definitely return to this store again.

Our first visit and purchase at the Dump in Oaks was a successful venture overall. I am not exactly sure how great of a deal I got on the furniture we purchased because I couldn't find it anywhere else. Some of their policies seem a bit confrontational and a anti-customer (scheduling delivery/cancelation policy/restocking fees/unwillingness to negotiate on price). The living room furniture we ended up buying is exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be happier from the standpoint of the quality product we received. The delivery team unfortunately ended up visiting our home during a snowy day and one of the guys was struggling a bit, but they got the job done without any damage. Overall, although I got the sense that they were very much about protecting themselves and making sure they got their money and not too concerned with the customer's satisfaction, I am pleased with my first Dump purchase. But I will say that it's because of their policies that I looked very hard into purchasing my furniture elsewhere. I understand wanting to keep overhead low, but treating your customers as if they are trying to swindle you and making them feel as though they'll be subject to fees for changing their mind is not good customer relations. I can see why many people have struggled with them in the past as evidenced by the many reviews I read before ultimately deciding to make my purchase. Make sure you understand what you are getting yourself into when buying from the Dump, or you could be sorry.

My salesman Greg was great. He was very knowledgeable about each piece I was interested in. Had an issue with Synchrony bank. He tried several times to rectify the problem to no avail, but nothing was his fault. If not for him, the sale may not have gone through. Once we worked out a solution things went very smoothly. Delivery chargers are always an issue, so I choose to rent a 5x9 uhaul trailer for 30buck, to pick up my furniture myself. Customer service was fast and smooth. The stock guys were extremely courteous and loaded 6 pieces without issue or fail. It was a very pleasant experience overall and I definitely recommend going to look at the stock. I liked much.. Great place to buy in my opinion.

I stopped in at 'The Dump' to kill time between appointments in the area. I was browsing for an area rug.
Cyndy greeted me and asked what I was looking for. I gave her an idea of the style I was looking for and the size. She was extremely helpful. She pulled back all the rugs in the piles so I could see the designs. We also looked through the ones hanging up. I finally found one that I loved- after going through Many! The price was very reasonable for the quality of the rug.
The purchase process was simple, I picked up my rug at the loading dock- a young man put it in my car for it and off I went. This was my first experience at The Dump and it was very positive. I did a walk through of the store and saw many items I really liked and had I been shopping for furniture, I could have easily found something I loved. I will go back should I need furniture or accessories again. Thanks Cyndy for all your help and friendliness!

I went in to see a sofa and chair that i saw online. My salesperson, Liz, was excellent. She explained the delivery options and guided us to comparable sets. No pressure.
Delivery was as promised, went off without a glitch and I absolutely love the new set!

Different furniture shopping experience but in a good way. They just happened to have what I was looking for easily a $1000 less than the closest similar couch. Plus sales process was really present - staff seems to have trained to on being nice and making a soft sale experience rather than aggressively try to up sale.

My fiancé and I went to The Dump in hopes of finding furniture that can help us make our new home together feel like home. It took us forever to find quality furniture at reasonable prices. We searched high and low but could never find anywhere that accommodated our taste and budget. Then we arrived at The Dump! This place exceeded our expectations! We put together a whole new living room at this store right down to the center piece on our new coffee table. In the process of choosing our furniture the sales people there not only answered all of our questions, but they gave us helpful interior design advise. The salesman that helped us was named Farm and he was incredible! We where there Saturday and Sunday picking things out and he remained very sincere and patient with us the whole time. His advise was very helpful and we owe him and The Dump a huge thanks because we now have a living room that we can't wait to share with our guest! We highly recommend to anyone looking for beautiful quality furniture (at very reasonable prices) to check this place out. We will be returning when it's time to remodel any other part of our home!

Our associate Randy, who manages the mattress dept was great to work with. He was knowledgable and patient. We felt no pressure from him at all and he took the time to provide the information we were looking for. Buying a new mattress was a big decision for us. Randy explained all the various features, pros and cons in detail and never steered us towards any one product. He just kept laying out the facts and asking us the right questions until we arrived at what we felt was a fantastic choice at a fair price. We love The Dump! We have purchased many pieces for our home from there and have always been pleased with the decision. The items have been very high quality, very reasonably priced and the associates we have worked with (Gigi and Randy) have always been pleasant, honest and full of good information. It's why we keep coming back again and again. Delivery was also on time, easy to track and very efficient.

Very pleased with our purchase. The sales staff were professional , no high pressure. Quality of furniture appears very good. Of course the price was more than competitive. We are always satisfied when we shop at the Dump.

Sad to hear that this location may be closing. The landlord is probably being unreasonable, all things considered.....
In any event, I was on a mission for a cool leather sectional, the PERFECT combo was available and the salesman Austin was patient, attentive and closed the deal! I purchased the leather sectional for fractions of what I was considering from other retailers. Thank you to The Dump for all the years of offering amazing home furnishings/carpets for all the years you have been in Oaks. You will be missed.

Purchased an entire bedroom set. We had a great experience with the staff. Darnell in mattresses was a great help. The furniture is of high quality. I really enjoyed the process. The team is knowledgeable and pleasant. The store has many great items, and we got exactly what we were looking for.

The delivery went very smooth. The automated process made it simple straight forward (Text, e-mail, phone) confirmation of delivery time. I would purchase furniture from The Dump again.

Had a great experience shopping here. Bought a beautiful rug and several pieces of furniture. Delivery was on time and courteous. We have a favorite salesperson. His name is Neuman. Not sure if I spelled it right. Anyways he always takes excellent care of us. Good prices on some beautiful and unique pieces of furniture. I highly recommend going to this store.

In store experience was great. Employees were super helpful, and worked with us to get us our preferred delivery. Delivery drivers were prompt, polite, and extremely contentious of not only the products being delivered, but took extra care to ensure nothing was damaged in my home. I've heard bad things about the dump, but I am incredibly pleased to report we had a wonderful experience.

We have bought from The Dump many times. Their furniture is high quality and much less expensive than you could purchase elsewhere. We worked with Greg Garner today and he was FABULOUS!

Even during the COVID lockdown, scheduling appointment to visit the facility has been very easy. Not once but twice we were there a week apart. Did both homework looking up furniture that we needed and in house too.

Scheduling delivery was so easy. The actual delivery itself was the icing on the cake. I am not exaggerating at all. Their delivery people were two absolute gems. Really very cordial, very professional and no grumbling Swearing at all. Very nice 👍

I bought dining room set and living room chairs and am very happy with what I got. The salesman was very helpful as he was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The quality and prices of the products are unbeatable. I love my furniture I got from the DUMP and will definitely go back if need be.

I was hesitant because I was purchasing an expensive couch without ever seeing it due to COVID. However my patience were wearing thin and I needed a new couch for my newly finished basement. The couch is a DREAM, delivery went super easy and the staff was so helpful. If I ever find something there again I would never hesitate to purchase because of my experience and I'm about 3 hours away!!!

A great place to shop. You can find something for everyone in the family and not break the bank doing it. The salesman Bill and Ken are top notch and even stayed after closing to make sure I had everything necessary for my new adjustable bed, and with a ten year warranty for only $199 who can go wrong. I recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic furnishings at Rock bottom prices. The travel was so worth it and set up and delivery the same week is amazing.
