OMG!!!
Just ordered tonight and the food was amazing: I got the salmon with Mac and cheese & fries (I think they ran out cause I got potatoe salad instead) and I wasn’t even mad about it because that was also amazing. Once I started eating I couldnt stop. The banana pudding was delicious as well! This is my new favorite spot!

The food here is absolutely amazing. The owner is also absolutely amazing and you can tell he loves what he does. If I could give more than a 5 star I would. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to kick back, relax and enjoy some great food!

Burdie's Kitchen was delicious. We have tried most of the items on their menu and have been pleased ever time. Our favorites are the sweet heat wings, shrimp and grits and the well seasoned burgers.

Amazing food!!!! I love everything. The chef is so kind and experienced!! Very generous portions. My favorites are the wings, salmon, and cajun fish. I can't wait to try more!!! Def worth it for it of towner's!

We ate here last weekend, two days in a row because I wanted wings and they were sold out on Friday.

It was "Alfredo Friday", so we ordered Jerk Chicken Alfredo and Salmon Alfredo with cornbread (that melts in your mouth!!) Both were delicious and the portions were huge, enough for a second meal for both of us!

Went back on Saturday for wings, & they were fantastic!! Large and meaty, cooked just right. Tried 3 different sauces Sweetheat, Honey BBQ and 24Karat, all were delicious!

The owner obviously loves what he does, he is an excellent cook and was really friendly even though he was very busy!

We will definitely be back! 😋❤

The food here is AMAZING!!!! My wife and I tried the chicken and waffles and have already figured out what we are going to get tomorrow when we return. The owner may be one of the best, if not the best southern homestyle cook around. Please give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

We went for the first time this weekend and everything was excellent! We had chicken and waffles, mac and cheese fresh out of the oven, yams and the best banana pudding my fiancee says he's ever had. The owners were super friendly and it was a great experience overall. Absolutely a place everyone should be heading to!

This place is a whole vibe! We finally made it to Birdie’s tonight for dinner and it did not disappoint! I had the salmon, Birdies mac, asparagus and honey cornbread and my husband had the sweet heat dings. Relaxed home cooking. If you haven’t been…you should 😉

Today I had the honor to try out Birdies Kitchen Wings in different flavors, they were all very savory and delicious but my favorite were the Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Sweet Heat. Birdies Wings were Crispy tasty and fresh! I also tried out the Natural Strawberry Mint and Peachy Mint Lemonades both very refreshing but our favorite was the strawberry mint. If you want to top it off with dessert I recommend trying out his famous pound cake! On another note the Owner is very genuine, uplifting and wholesome 👌🏼❤ I completely recommend it!

i ordered the chicken and waffles and my wife got the fish tacos. LEMME TELL YOU SOMFIN!!! i was blown away. the chicken wings were so moist and juicy and the breading was soooo damn good. these were the first wings i ever actually fully ate entirely lmao! they werent overcooked or undercooked. literally the definition of perfect golden brown wings!the fish tacos were THEE BEST, hands down no discussion, like the flavor and sauce was just an insanely amazing combo! im going back in a day or so to order more wings because i have poor self control!

Excellent local place! So many great menu items - the dings (looking forward to trying more of the sauces), the oxtail, the cornbread. Don't even get me started on the tots.... And looking forward to trying the puddings next time, too!

Never disappointed with Birdies. The food is unique and always so good. I keep trying different items on the menu and they are all excellent. The owner is so friendly and appreciates all of his customers. He has a real love and passion for what he does. If you haven’t tried Birdies yet, do it.

I stopped in for breakfast and was delighted with the best blueberry pancakes I've had in a long time. The decor is dated and the service adequate but look past that and enjoy a great meal. There are booths and counter stools like a classic dinner complete with original laminates, upholstery, and finishes circa 1960. Can't wait to try some seafood someday.

Just visited Birdies Cafe for the first time and Chef Blair is definitely a Master Chef of Soul Food!! Lickin my fingers and writing this review at the same time! Salmon, Collards,Birdies Mac n Cheese and Lemon cake is Super Awesome! My Salmon was prepared Perfectly!!

The location may be small but the taste and portions are LARGE.

There is no second guessing that each item is scratch made. The flavors of everything are amazing.

Don't miss the dings (huge wings)!

Great food! Perfect fried chicken, great flavors...should easily win Best Wings in the county! So good, ate lunch and ordered more for supper. Service was great, owner was beyond friendly, can't wait to go back....yum!

Definitely the best salmon an shrimp I've had locally... bonus points for the Rafiki stuff animal in the window... got him tatted on me... Definitely getting food their again.

I visited Birdies during a high influx time of the day - and, I could not have gotten better service despite the rush. The owner was so accommodating and gave us pointers on what to order. The food was wonderful and filling and the price was great. So thankful to have this restaurant in my area!
