Himalayan Exotic Indian Cuisine

Absolutely delicious! I was amazed that a buffet-style layout is able to maintain such high quality food. Moreover, the wait staff is extremely attentive, and the new owner (Maya) is amazing. She is fully devoted to the cooking and the friendly environment as well, personally engaging in genuine conversation. My wife was welcomed so warmly that we felt as if we were with family. While pregnant, this is the food she was craving, and it was incredibly satisfying. We will be eating here as often as possible.

Small little restaurant with good selection of food that tastes like it’s home cooking. Service is quick and courteous. Can’t beat the buffet price. Only wish it was closer!

My family tried the weekend brunch buffet today and was blown away by the flavors and variety. It's hard to find a decent Indian restaurant these days, much less a buffet.

Himalayan not only offers fresh garlic naan, but also dosas and parathas! They also offer a variety of vegetarian and egg/meat dishes, including chicken and vegetable curries, bean/eggplant stews, pakoras, and wings. Sides include a variety of chutneys and raita. Today's dessert included fresh watermelon, banana pudding, jalebi, gulab jamun, and fruit cocktail. Masala chai and mango lassi were also provided.

Every dish had the perfect amount of spice and tasted very authentic! My personal favorites were the dosa, chicken biryani, chicken curry, and eggplant fry. The new owner is lovely and very proud of the authenticity and quality of her buffet menu. We are so happy to find an Indian buffet option and can't wait to come back!

You will be having buffet lunch over the weekend including Fridays. Taste of Food and the variety are really good.. everytime you finish one plate they will remove that and you can take another new plate to fill up with. And cost is also reasonable 👍
Mango lassi is a must try..

We ordered ala carte instead of buffet and it was delicious.. portions were very generous.. Naans were really good..

A rare occurence in restaurants- a changing table in the ladies restroom! Food is delicious and the spice level is just enough for someone who does not share Indian heritage. The weekdays lunch buffet is a great way to try a variety of dishes, both vegetarian and with meat.

Absolutely delicious and excellent service. Under the new ownership, Naan & Mutter Paneer was exceptional. Podi idly was mouthwatering. Spicy lovers must taste it. In the Malvern/Exton area the only restaurant that I could see that has great buffet. For the first time I had beetroot lassi. Sweet toothers would fall for it. 👍

Superb on all 3 parameters. Excellent food. If you have been craving the authentic North Indian taste, this is the only place in Philly Suburbs which has it!! Punjabi style taste. Dal makhani, chole, mutter paneer, Punjabi kadhi, desserts, everything was so tasteful. Not many places are a big delight for vegetarian. But this place is the one, for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
Met the owner. It was such a pleasurable experience interacting with her. Staff is very friendly too.

Superb lunch! clean restaurant, great tasting food, authentic and freshly made indian dishes! The buffet was delicious with all options from curries, appetisers, desserts, indian masala chai and mango lassi. Would definitely recommend!

Staff and owner are incredibly nice and helpful. I love going for the take-out buffet when I don't have enough time to hang out. A ton of vegetarian options on the buffet and the food is great.
This past Thurs night they tested out a snack buffet which was awesome. Definitely one of the highlights. If you haven't been in the past 6 months, definitely stop by as the food has gotten much better.

Hello All,
Today I went to the Himalayan restaurant and I met a wife and husband to take my order. I ordered samosas but the way they interacted with me was so nice they offered me one masala tea and I started talking with that couple they are offering the buffet for 15.99 and all the recipes they were cooking were their own recipes like mulai parata , califlower parata, self made samosa’s. I like there hospitality. I would recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food and friendly service. Garlic butter nann, Chicken curry and shrimp briyani was excellent our family loved it! After many years still Himalayan provide no cost appetizer sesame bread and salad during dinner time. Sure to mention many restaurants stopped chat greets :) sure will return.

I’ve been to this buffet a few times and every time I’ve been there I have beyond enjoyed the experience . The food is always fresh , plenty of choices , and most importantly ….delicious !

The atmosphere is great , the owner ( Maya ) very friendly and hospitable. The staff is great they make you feel at home with their inviting presence and great love for the food.

Went for the lunch buffet near the end but it was still fresh and delicious. The flavors were exquisite, the spices were perfectly spicy. Exceptional even as great Indian cuisine goes. Will definitely be back.

This place is delicious and has a great assortment of dishes to try on the lunch buffet for only $9.99! The new owner Maya is so friendly and welcoming....she will engage in a friendly conversation with you. Also willing to explain any and all dishes with you. Buffet is not spicy but plenty of great flavors. They also have a weekend brunch that I have not tried yet, but by her explanation it sounds delicious. $14.99. Give it a try and pass the word on to friends and help this business strive after the last owners left with a slight bad name!!

I don't live near Malvern, and was visiting a friend who was in a physical rehab center. I went to this restaurant after the visit. All the food was delicious, and the presentation and service was excellent. Most Indian restaurants are Southern India style. Many of the dishes here were are Northern style. I very much enjoyed the change.
