We absolutely love visiting and finding some great finds at great prices! You can bring a box of books in a day, which is great for keeping home libraries fresh while also giving credit for in-store purchases to buy new books! The staff is friendly and so helpful, a must visit if you’re in Royersford!

My favorite place for used books! I love that I can bring books and they'll donate them if they aren't good enough to sell! And I get to buy books that I wouldn't other wise because they're cheap and I can use credit. And if I don't like them I can bring them back for credit. I've found a few gems here! And they sell new releases too!

It's a very nice used-book store. Used books are generally fair-priced. You can also donate your unwanted books for some store credit. You can bring one box or two bags in per day. How much you can receive in credit is totally up to the store people. They'll credit to your account. Your phone number is the account number when you sign up.

I go here all the time to pick up used books. I love the friendly atmosphere and organization of the books. It's easy to find the sections for what you're looking for, and is just as enjoyable to spend time browsing the shelves. You could literally spend hours looking here. And I have.
They always have amazing deals on their stock including $1 adult hardbacks, discounts for teachers, and heavily discounted previous bestsellers. They also have a system where, if you bring in used books for them to sell, they will offer you credit towards your future purchases - so the books are even more discounted than before! On top of all this, you also get the knowledge that you're supprlorting a local, independent books store instead of a big-box giant like B&N.

I can spend every weekend in this store! The staff is amazing, always super helpful. It's rare that I'm looking for a specific book as I just love to browse and find new authors, but when I am, they always put my name on the lookout list and when they call to tell me that my book came in, I swear they are more excited than I am! Their recommendations are always spot on as well. Can I get books cheaper off of Amazon? Sometimes, I'm sure. I could also go to the library. But then I don't get to talk to other book nerds and I don't get to support small business. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Love this place. We donate often and buy a lot of kids books. Two weeks in a row though we bought books with pages missing and one book about a specific animal seemed as if it were used as a book report since every page had pictures cut out. We will flip through the kids books more carefully next time. Still recommend.

So Helpful and they have a awesome program. Take your old books in good shape and trade in for books that you have not read. Call the store for more details. I took my son and he found a lot of books to peak his interest. I love the recycle idea. Some books you read only once. Last point they do have a selection of Audio books. Worth checking out.

This bookstore is fabulous! Most books are priced in the $8 range, but if you donate books to the store, you will have an account where you can get discounts. I donated books for the first time today and received 50% off all the books I purchased. The staff is so helpful and friendly as well.This store is a true gem in the neighborhood!

This place has been fantastic to our family for years. They buy back our old books for store credit, so we are continually cycling books. It works out beautifully for reading Olympics as well as the casual read. It is a real asset to the community. Why shelve a book at home never to be read again? It makes casual reading more affordable for everyone.

My first time visiting Starr Books and what an amazing, wonderful surprise! I was greeted by the most friendly front desk person and then presented my few books for credit. The store itself is totally organized and well stocked with great prices. I chose a book and with my credit it was huge bargain! I can't wait to go back!!

A wonderful used bookstore full of friendly and helpful staff who make the business of book buying and "selling" easy and enjoyable. I always enjoy browsing their selection and looking for hidden gems. Customers can not only buy books, but bring in their own used books for credit off purchases of books in stock. Staff will also keep a list of books you're looking for and let you know if one comes in!

Love this book store. Great selection of books. Awesome employees. Lots of fun every time I visit them. So glad when they opened a store in Royersford. Driving to Douglasville was such a pain but I did it but not often. Now I can go everyday if I want it is so close to my house. Thank you. 😊

Wonderful store! Clean, open, and welcoming. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I love how you can request to put a book on "hold" in case they don't have it when you're there. They always call to let me know when they get a copy in. Also, the credit system is very fair.
I stop in about 1x a month, and so should you!

Nice folx. They're helpful, without that retail personality drain. Remember, this is an independent, second-hand bookstore, so they can't just order stuff. It's a treasure hunt, not a B&N.
