Friends and I ate here for an impromptu late lunch, driving through the backroads of Pennsylvania on our way home back to Kentucky. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service by Sky was 10/10, also the food and salad bar was DELICIOUS. Hopefully we will be back in the future!

We haven't visited the Dutch Treat Restaurant in a long time. This decor is awesome, like an old cabin inside. We had steak and eggs breakfast. Plates were full. I even had an order of fried potatoes that were just like my mother made fifty years ago. This was a great experience. Three 👍👍👍 up.

I was not feeling so great tonight so we did a takeout and once again, Jason never cease to amaze us. The food was perfect. This is on a busy Friday night. What I think Dutch treat is back with a belong five stars on anything you can order. Thank you for the good food.

It was a fantastic experience. The prime rib was amazing and huge; I'm still eating it later as lunch. Our server Sky was so friendly and attentive. And I was able to do some Christmas shopping in the gift shop. They had such cute things and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back.
I chose $20-30 because my prime rib meal was in that range, but there are many options that are lower priced.

My food, 3 eggs home fries bacon and toast of my choice was hot crispy and great. The place is slow and the coffee keeps pouring. The parking is easy and everything nearby is great: a lake, hardware store, Amish buggy, horses and people. If I am within 10 miles, then you will find me here enjoying the great food and people and I won't be in a hurry.

I've been going to the Dutch Treat since I was a kid (1980s). Heck, I love the place so much I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there (1991). I'll admit they had some rough patches over the past two years. The pandemic hit every restaurant hard. But I am here to tell you THEY ARE BACK and THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVER!
Two weeks ago I stopped in for a small breakfast--it was delish. Today I ordered breakfast to go. One of their brand new menu items (did I mention they changed up their menu?) is Eggs a la Goldenrod. OH MY GOSH. This was SO good! First, I have to say that I was barely able to drive because the aroma of the meal in my car was so intoxicating, I probably would have failed a sobriety test. I couldn't wait to get to work so I could eat (yes, I ate at work...don't judge me...)!
Anyway, the restaurant has a new general manager (and many improvements), awesome and friendly wait staff, and whoever is doing the cooking/baking is truly bringing life back to the Dutch Treat.
If you haven't been there, make a point to go. And if you were there in the past couple of years and something disappointed you, try again now. Your senses and your tummy will be glad you did!

I have been a few times since it has switched owner's. This is the first that I have had a long wait for food. The waitress Kyla I had was excellent. Made sure that the coffee was filled at all times. All ways came and checked on us. The servers where on top of there jobs. The kitchen staff however where not. I had the biscuits and gravy and my mother in law had the blueberry pancakes. Even though we waited about 40 minutes it was worth the wait.

Pretty much the same menu as the previous owners. Sweet potato fries are even BETTER! If you haven't been since it was bought this year, you should try it.

Definitely the new owners have improved from the original Dutch treat. The food was excellent. I feel like the prices we're very good. And very good service.

Very enjoyable lunch stop. We split a chicken dinner and had plenty of food for under $20. Fast and efficient, nice interior and excellent service.

The place was very busy and there was one girl working everywhere. The liver and onions was awful. Very tough.

This is one of those restaurants where the whole time you're sitting there eating, you're thinking to yourself that this may be one of the best meals you've ever had. There are pieces of bacon in the already delicious potato salad like I've never seen anywhere else, the fish is of the caliber you get in an oceanside restaurant, and the reuben is served on marbled rye with juicy corned beef. A great big "wow" all around. There are also actual bits of lime in the key lime pie and the graham cracker pie was perfect from crust to cream. Can't wait to go back. You might want to buy a jar of the notorious one-of-a-kind Amish peanut butter in the gift store on the way out. Drive carefully, though, as this is serious Amish territory and there are, at times, slower moving horses and buggies in the main road.
