Beautiful area with lots of wildlife. We were here last spring just after a snowfall. Trails are flat but the snow was drifted in a few areas which made it difficult to move through. I suspect other times of the year are better for hiking. There were a few picnic tables and fire rings. Overall a nice quiet location and we are planning another trip up that way once the leaves start changing.

It is a beautiful area, if you plan to fish, its a long walk back in, maybe 2-3ish miles. We didn't catch anything when there. There's areas where you're not allowed to leave the walkway/road. Very quiet, saw lots of wildlife, almost made me feel like walking through the wetlands in Florida minus the alligators.
