Xolo Tacos

4th update
Several times we tried to order take out and they won't take any more orders by the time we call (I totally understand and would rather them do that than give subpar food or make you wait for a long time). Last night we placed an order early for a later pick up time and it worked perfectly. The guac was still amazing and the tacos were excellent. We added a few Corona Lights with lime and had a little happy feast.

3rd update. We have been back many times and like everything we have ordered. Attaching photos of our take out tacos. Great for picnics! THE GUAC IS AMAZING 😬😬😬

2nd update. Went back again for the salmon and it was still delicious, but looked so different. See pic.

Update: went back again. (we have been there many times and were afraid it was getting "tired") but last night's food was phenomenal. We sat outside. That's one of the main reasons we love that spot.
I ordered the salmon and it was really one of the best tasting entree I've had anywhere in a long time. See pic.
Service is still on "island time" you'll get everything you ask for...eventually. Our server wasn't the friendliest, but maybe she had an off night.
It surprised me that they don't take bar order right away. I was almost ready to go to the bar and get a drink for myself while we waited. We ended up ordering our drinks when we ordered dinner (waited for about 10 minutes to order) instead of having one with the chips and a second with the meal. They could sell so much more alcohol (and they have a steep markup) if they kept on top of that.
Older review:
Hit or miss. Depends on the entree and depends on the night. Service tends to be a little slow no matter how crowded or empty. (I don't mean bringing the entree as that takes time to prepare. I mean if you need a lime or a glass for your beer or water refills)
A little pricey for what it is. Prices are more in line with what they "want the restaurant to be". Overall "good" food at "great" food prices. Restaurant decor is nice.

1st time here and it was delicious.
Service was welcoming and attentive. Food was so really good. I had the burrito bowl with the skirt steak and a mojito. My meal was just enough and reasonably priced and my drink was generous. Will definitely be back.

What an experience... It has been too long since I have been able to dine out. I tried to order take out a few times to support local joints but I feel like the situation doesn't lend itself to a review. Or at least I wasn't feeling the passion for it.

So glad to be eating somewhere that isn't my house. Excellent super lime-y guacamole. The chips are soooo tasty. We had queso fundido which was luscious and creamy and tasty with warm tortillas. I ate so much.

The cocktails were so on point. They didn't have all the mixes but the pineapple is great. My partner had pomegranate and our friend had the spicy mango.

I can say that I loved the enchiladas with mole sauce. It was so well done. The rice and beans were a little on the salty side but I LOVE THAT. The real show stopper was the CRICKET TACOS! So good. The salsa all paired made the meals just click.

I will absolutely be returning. I can't wait to be inside or outside sipping another margarita.

I could rave about the food and drinks here all day, every day. My friend and I ordered the Plato Mixto to share and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos for my entree. Soooo good. We sat at the bar with Silvia, the bartender, and she made the BEST mango habanero margarita. Ambiance is great and staff is lovely.

Great food, great staff, great ambiance, and most importantly great service. They also have good vegetarian options, a diverse menu, and delicious margaritas. It's about as authentic Mexican food I've had since moving from California. This place is tucked away and almost hidden with a tiny parking lot.

The food was great! We were celebrating a birthday we had a large party and service was awesome. We ordered almost everything on the menu the pork fajita and beef empanadas were my favorites.

Food was very tasty! Their appetizer sampler was incredible! I must say that even their though their caipirinha is not prepped in the Brazilian way, it was delicious and I was very happy about it. I will definitely return

First time going here a few weeks ago and I was hosting a group outing for Dia de los Muertos - so glad I chose this place!

Had reservations and immediately taken to my section/table on the 2nd floor - we had about 10-12 people so they placed upstairs to have enough space. The server was so great - very attentive throughout the entire dining experience, ensuring our food and drinks were to our liking, overall polite and friendly and so was the manager (he came to check on things with us at one point). We all really enjoyed our food and drinks. I decided to get Chicken Enchiladas with Mole - it was soooo good! Having gone to other restaurants, sometimes the mole doesn't always taste the best but this was perfect. The rice and beans went gets with it; it was so filling. I also had the Red Sangria which was really good as well. Others in my party got tacos, other enchiladas, nachos, etc and everyone enjoyed what they had.

Plan to go back to try more food and highly recommend checking them out!

Love this food.
Ordered guacamole and it came out super fast. The bowl was deep and the guac delicious. Couldn't finish by the time the tacos came, which also came pretty fast after ordering.
Blackened mahi tacos and shrimp tacos, 3 of each, were all delicious. Serving sizes were generous, particularly for the mahi.
The server, Joseph, was attentive and gave us extras chips to take home with the left over guac.
Finished off with churros served with hot chocolate and ice cream.

Fantastic! Food was great! Cocktails were tasty & the host was so very nice! Will definitely go back again!

Went for lunch with my husband for our anniversary ,this place is tucked back off a side street ,but baby when you walk in you feel like you are in a Mexican court yard ,it’s tastefully decorated just sexy ,the service was great very nice young lady ,nice music playing at a great volume where we could talk without shouting ,the food was so fresh and tasty and affordable we only spent 40 bucks we both had dessert with limeade and I had tacos he had a massive chorizo burrito that he said was great ,we have found our New Mexican spot ,can’t wAit to bring friends

Always a great experience at Xolo. From the food to the service, i have always felt comfortable and welcomed. This is my go-to place for great authentic Mexican food.

Great food, service and Margaritas! I stop here most Wednesday's for happy hour and dinner. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. With Spring here, they have outdoor seating which is great. Definitely recommend!

Loved the place. Lovely ambience and colorful crowd. Bartenders are cheerful. Food is delicious too. Ordered pork and it is just perfect. Plus Thursday Salsas, 5 out of 5.

Really terrific food and service. Went here for a party in the upstairs room and it was a really nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and fresh and we all had a great time. There's a small parking lot out front and street parking is available all around.

I loved this place! Excellent food, tasty strong drinks, fast friendly service, and great prices! The entire restaurant, restroom and outdoor areas were extremely clean.

We’ve been coming here for years the owner knows our faces! Margaritas and sangrias are yummy and not to expensive. The burritos and shrimp tacos are the best I’ve ever had no other restaurant compares both in and outside of PA!

Had a fantastic birthday dinner here!! Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a friendly, fast service, delicious dinner. Everything is reasonably priced. Delicious tacos and drinks. Staff was very friendly. Service was excellent. 10/10.

Went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and will definately come back. The food was really good and the service was good as well. There are also a lot of really nice decorations everywhere.
