The Foundry at Summit Pond

If you’re going to sleep on anything let it be your bed - not the bread pudding at The Foundry. Long wait for a table when we went, but we found 2 seats at the bar while getting drinks and waiting for a table and had a grand time. Drinks were great and the bread pudding was so good we had to order another round. The meat does come out a little less done than ordered but it was still delicious. Wrap up with some responsible espresso martinis if you’re into it.

Delicious food and meat was cooked to absolute perfection. Best seared scallops I've ever had! The s'mores for dessert was fun and yummy!

My girlfriend and I are visiting from New York and saw this as a place close to where we were staying and we decided to try it out. I didn’t get a chance to catch the waiters name but he was extremely genuine and seemed like a super cool dude. Cutting to the chase I had a steak with Mac and cheese and my girlfriend had a grilled chicken sandwich with the rabbit soup. Both our meals were delicious and next time we come back to Vermont we’ll definitely come here again.

What an amazing dinning experience. The restaurant was beautiful! The menu was full of delicious choices not the average everyday food. Much better!! The drink menu was great with many options!! The service was phenomenal our waitress Bri was very attentive and knowledgeable. She checked on our table frequently and was super friendly. As a overnight snowmaker at the Mountain I don't get many chances to have a great meal and today I did!! Highly recommend and most definitely will be back

Excellent food and superior service. We had two of the daily specials, pasta with mushrooms and scallops and haddock over white cheddar grits which were both phenomenal. Also had the rack of lamb which was cooked perfectly. The scallops were an add-on suggested by our server, Ryan, which was definitely the right choice. He also suggested a Carpazo Sangiovese which was an excellent pairing with the pasta dish. Outstanding service. Ryan constantly checked back to see if we needed anything and was very personable. Highly recommend and definitely will go back.

Really good food, excellent atmosphere with live music. Given President's day, it was busy but not unexpected. Good addition to the usual Killington set of dining options.

What a view! From every direction the view is stunning. I ate outside by the pond to enjoy it. It was so relaxing watching the fish. I even saw a turtle swim by. The sound of the water as the water wheel went around was soothing.
Now the food … I had an order of maple, bacon Brussel spouts as an appetizer. They are delicious! Then for a main course I ordered the arugula salad with chicken and a side of beets added. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken moist and the sweet potatoes and squash were just firm enough. I had maple creme brûlée for dessert. It was delicious. Not served warm but so good!

Excellent evening at The Foundry. The yelp app was inaccurate and there was a 25 minute wait out by the pond. There are benches to sit on if you are so lucky. We got the burger and it ranked in the top 5 I have ever had. Yes it was that good. Dark and stormy was also excellent. The inside has a cool vibe and the wait staff were also great. I highly recommend this establishment 😁

Visiting out of state and wanted to have a nice anniversary dinner/night out. We stumbled across this place and when I say it was EXACTLY what my husband and I were looking for we had such a GREAT experience, the staff was super friendly & professional the food,signature drinks and desserts were AMAZING!!!.We even got to meet the chef. We DEFINITELY RECOMMEND giving THE FOUNDRY AT SUMMIT POND a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Recommended to us by a local, The Foundry is definitely a must go. Always listen to locals, they know what they are talking about. The 28 oz porter house was juicy and delicious. The staff is courteous and friendly. It has a rustic ambiance.

The Foundry was excellent! The staff was friendly and efficient. The wait time was less than anticipated. The food was delicious. We loved the special salmon and crab ravioli. The s’mores dessert was fun! My only issue was that when I called a week ago to make a reservation, I was told they only take reservations for 10 or more, but that we would have no problem waking in on a Wednesday to celebrate a birthday. When we showed up on that Wednesday, they were closed. I understand schedules change, but I would suggest calling the day of to double check their schedule.

Got there as soon as they opened the doors. Our host seated us in a perfect location, our server was very pleasant and attentive, the bartender mixed very yummy drinks, and the chef did an amazing job with all of our dishes. A sleeping baby (who wouldn't want to fall asleep on a rainy, cold day by a very nice warm fire!) added the extra cherry on top to make our experience perfect! Happy anniversary, Damon and Jordan!

Just an overall fantastic experience, from the entrees, wine selection, and dessert to staff knowledge of the menu and willingness to help.

I went here on a date recently and our server really went above and beyond helping us pair a wine with our meal and even bringing samples before we decided on a bottle. Given the opportunity to visit again, I would love to do so.

Absolutely perfect experience. Cosy setting with soft yellow lights and a wood fire. Super friendly and quick servers. Perfect noise level. Decent chicken marsala and hanger steak, and a wonderful s’mores dessert. Couldn’t recommend it strong enough.

Everything we ordered was so good. Good food with good view. Will definitely be coming back when in Vermont.

Our plates got destroyed by semi full adults and a 13 year old! Chicken Masala, Lamb Chops and Chicken tenders w/ fries are unrecognizable! LOL! The Octopus tapas disappeared in thin air along with the chop salad!
We have Cheesecake and a Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream on the way! We can't wait!!! We will have a long good night schleep tonight!!!

Nice, friendly venue. Bar area and table area are very comfortable. Great duck entree and excellent lamb lollipops.
