We broke down towing our camper along rt 31. Not from the area we googled local repair shops and luckily found C&D. We called them late in the day around 5 pm but they were traveling and 1 hour away from their shop. They gave us the number of a trusted tow service who helped us get to their shop. Chad found the new radiator for our yukon, had it delivered that day and stayed late that night to complete the repairs and get us back on our camping trip. They even entertained our kids while we waited. Very helpful and friendly family. Thanks for saving our camping trip!

Going into Labor day weekend, my family was driving from Pittsburgh to Harrisburg. Hitting the hills in the area, the temperature started to rise on our Audi Q7, which never gets above standard running temp. A bit concerned, I googled some car repair places nearby just to get a more educated guess on our issue and a recommendation. We couldn't have been luckier to find Chad and his wife at their shop willing to see how they could help us out. We were able to drive back home to Pittsburgh without an issue and sort out other transport for the weekend. I truly wish I could have given Chad my business as he and his team there seemed like straight up great people who know their craft and care about their customers. And despite having some pretty serious muscle cars at the shop entrance, he was really familiar with our Audi and what the issue might be. Hopefully this review encourages others to head his way.

My Truck(Ram 3500) broke down on I-76E, at exit 91, i goggled a mechanic near by and I was luck he was 5mins away from me, at first i doubted him but i had no choice but to call him, he said he can fix it. I waited forever for my insurance company to send me a tow vehicle but they never sent one so I manage drove the truck to his workshop because it’s was just 5mins away. I got to him and he took care of my truck, i was not happy thinking the truck won’t be ready same day because i got to him late but he made sure the truck was ready same day and i was able to deliver next day. Chad and wife are so nice and friendly.

Thermostat went in our car 90 minutes into a 4 hour road trip. Chad took us in without hesitation, quickly diagnosed to problem and had a replacement part on the way. The price was totally fair and the work was thorough. He even asked me to call once we got to our destination to make sure everything was still OK.

In a situation where we were backed into a corner and he could have charged an arm and a leg, he didn’t. Would definitely recommend.

Imagine traveling full time in a motorhome and having engine problems. Local garages can't take you for weeks and then you meet a mechanic vacationing with his family who is parked, at the same RV park, a few sights from you.

Unfortunately the mechanic is hours from his business so naturally he was without his diagnostic equipment.

Chad took time away from his family during a weekend get-away to help out a total stranger and help us he did. Within minutes Chad narrowed down the problem then with a simple test, had the problem attributed to a faulty spark plug wire.

I wish I could tell you about my experience with a local mechanic that worked weeks before, on the same problem, who turned out to be a ”parts changer" and did not correct the problem, but that's another story and as they say "education is expensive".

I was visiting Champion, PA which is five hours from where I live. On a Friday night, the shifter bushing in my pickup truck decided to break. Not cool. I saw the great reviews C&D Auto Repair had on here and called them to see if there was anyway they could fix this (over the weekend, no less.) They were so unbelievably nice and only too happy to help me. When I say that you are dealing with the greatest of the great, I"m not kidding. They repaired my truck VERY QUICKLY and for a fraction of the price I would have paid anywhere else. I can't thank them enough and if I could give them more than five starts on here, I most certainly would!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Was on a multi-state trip in a beater when my head gasket blew. Picked one of the closer repair shops and ended up at C&D Auto Repair. Couldn't have taken it to a better place. The owner is real nice, honest about whether the repairs would be worth it, and helped me out instead of just trying to make a buck. If I was local, this would be my go-to repair shop. You won't go wrong bringing your car, ATV, jetski, boat, or motorcycle problems here (he does it all).

There is NO doubt in my mind that Chad is one of the most honest and professional mechanics I’ve met. While on vacation, my diesel Volkswagen had some problems. Chad worked me in and diagnosed the problem in time for me to travel home. It’s one thing to fix my car ... which he did. But what set Chad apart from others is his honesty. Thank you, Chad! Chad and his family saved our holiday break recently. My car broke down on our trip and we luckily found this place. They helped my wife and I out so much to get us back on the road. The alternator on my truck failed while visiting Seven Springs. I was able to drive to CD and drop the truck off and I got the call just over 3 hours later that the alternator was replace and I could pick my truck up. Chad got me back on the road quickly and reasonably priced so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation. Thanks!

Had some trouble on the turnpike just before the Donegal exit. Called to see if we could stop for a quick evaluation. Chad said he would take a look but also let me know he had an appointment for another customer about 30 minutes after we would arrive. We got there, he hooked the computer up to see what the codes would be, let me know what the possibilities were, and how we should proceed. Thankfully it was not something that would keep us from going on our way. I appreciated his professionalism and candor.

One of the rare genuinely good mechanics/people these days. Took my car in on short notice, and he was beyond helpful, honest, and more than fair on price. Couldn't ask for better people. Broke down over 160 miles away from their shop, had 3 people in the vehicle, and on Easter weekend at 2 am Sunday morning they came to get us. Just amazing and we are so grateful.

Chad just did work on my 2011 Ford when i took it to him it ran horribly due to poor tuning from Snyder performance engineering that they would not even back up they told me it was mechanical and said we cant help you so I found C&D and I will say this no body but Chad will ever put there hand on my truck he was straight forward and a good man as I told him after I test drove my truck when the work was done he has a customer for life anything diesel this is your place wouldn’t even consider anyplace else
