Great first visit! First Class service, drinks & food. Husband and wife owners were welcoming and appreciative of our group of 5. I had cream of mushroom soup and blackened tuna steak, both were great! I definitely a recommended stop if you're heading out Route 30. My only regret is not stopping there before, I've driven past it often.

Delicious food. Hard working and very professional restauranteurs make sure you will have an excellent dining experience. You’ll see when you get there it’s unmistakable!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and we were treated very well despite not knowing we should have made reservations. Our meals were delicious and the bread is also amazing! Will definitely be going back when we’re in the area.

Really a great local place to dine with a great view. Nice local atmosphere. I have stopped in several times & everyone seems to operate as a team (great service)! Dakota is a excellent waitress. Food has been spot on; consistent! St Louis ribs w/sauce is amazing. All sides are fresh tasteing & non typical-enjoyable. 🍄 & French onion soups are fantastic. 🐟- black and battered or baked all done perfect. A wide range of different appetizers are great. Spicy chicken sausage pasta really good. You also can pick your pasta between angel hair linguine or penne. I really can't tell u that anything I ate was bad or bad tasting. Dinner rolls are 👍.

Thursday evening @ 6, and could only get a seat at the bar. This isn't a complaint, it's a recommendation.

Had a tough time making a food choice. The longer I stared at the menu, the more things I wanted to order. Finally picked at random from the 6 or so I wanted. I don't think they have many bad choices.

My husband and I were in a bind for our anniversary and had to last minute find somewhere to go, I'll admit the name deterred me initially but I was pleasantly surprised. We had a nice table overlooking nearby Creek.. they also have outdoor seating. We had fantastic meal my husband raved over the crab cake and I had the sampler (Tuesday special) both very good. But the desserts were amazing! The cheesecake was delicious and huge and the coconut cream pie with macadamia nut crust pie was made locally.

The owner, Ron, has made this restaurant a Favorite of my wife and me. The food is all good, many choices on their menu, and a very friendly staff. The average cost of the meals can be a little high, but the food is worth it and they give good portions (you'll be full when you leave). Casual dining, warm atmosphere, a must stop around Ligonier.

This place is a Gem, really a great local place to dine. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and top of the line staff! Everyone seems to operate as a team which led to an awesome and relaxing dining experience. When I called to place our dinner reservation, I knew we picked the right place. Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff throughout our duration at this fine establishment. The food was delicious. We started out with the mussels and I had the crab cakes for dinner, DELICIOUS! Great wine selection too! I’m a new fan of The Road Toad 🐸 Thank you for your hospitality & I can’t wait to visit again!

We discovered this gem on a back road drive across Pennsylvania on the Lincoln Highway. The food and service were great! The view overlooking the creek is so peaceful. We liked it so much that we re-routed our return trip so that we could have the same dinner again. From now on, this will be a stopping point on all eastern trips!

First time eating here. We picked up take out on Valentines Day. The food was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back. The salmon was awesome. I'm excited to try other menu items.

What a great dinner!! The service was excellent and they helped us organize the orders for our kids, 6, 7, and 9.

Food was delicious, fast, and well made. The homemade blue cheese dressing was amazing and everyone enjoyed their meals.

We go here every July 4th week it's tradition (we don't live close). Food & service were great as usual. If they'd serve a vat I'd take that size for their mushroom soup. Their saucier makes delicious sauces for their meals, plates were left clean. Blueberry pie was a delicious dessert. They posted that prices were going up b/c of the market but they'd rather keep serving quality food than not. So, be prepared to pay more but as long as it's delicious food, good portions & good service ... it's worth it. Glad they have the staff to keep this landmark open. Thank you again for a great dinner & a good time.

We went here after our wedding, the food was phenomenal, the staff was even better. We had an absolutely awesome experience - even the patrons were wonderful, they all wished us congratulations and bought us drinks and dessert.

The atmosphere feels like an inn you might find along the road in old Ireland, in the best of ways. It is comfortable and cozy, intimate in a way that few places are these days.

They have wonderful seafood and desserts - we didn't sample the rest of the menu, but from my own experience in restaurant management, and from seeing what other patrons ordered, I was thoroughly impressed.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

This was our third visit to The Road Toad! As usual the food was delicious and made to order. They are very accommodating to special requests and the service is very friendly and efficient. Sit outside if you can and enjoy the view of the Creek. This place has become a favorite of ours. ( the crab soup is excellent). Enjoy😊
