YMCA Camp Sherwin - Girard

My family comes every year for a week. It is so peaceful and quiet. The sunset is beautiful.

We stayed here over Father’s Day weekend, every bit of the experience was great! The cabin we stayed it was really nice and clean, also right next to the pond. The pool and splash pad were enjoyable, along with the fishing derby. Staff were super nice, can’t wait to go back. 10/10 recommend!

The cabins are spacious and comfortable looking on my tour. Plenty of on site activities, biking, heated outdoor pool, basketball, pickleball a huge jumping dome. Accommodates tent, porches on cabins . Awesome personal, just ask any question.

I was on a Senior picnic from the YMCA, it is a great place to come when you have the time to enjoy nature they have a swimming pool that you can use if you have a Y pass.If you want to go to the beach you have to ascend 102 steps to get to the beach, it is at your discretion or your own risk.

Loads of fun! Great fishing pound for youth and adults alike. Friendly staff willing to go above and beyond to make your stay memorable, what more could you ask for?

Great area to camp. Love the wooded atmosphere. But yet everything is close by.

Love camping at Camp Sherwin. Staff is very friendly. Camp is well maintained. Family friendly.

We had the best time with my daughter's Girl Scout Troop for a Daddy Daughter fishing derby in their private pond. The pond was well stocked with a variety of fish. All 15 girls caught a fish and they were all so happy. The pavilion we rented was clean and having a restroom attached was great. Great view of Lake Erie from there didn't hurt. Couple of the girls came early and got to enjoy the pool which was staffed with 2 lifeguards. So we felt totally safe letting the girls have fun in the pool. Grounds were clean and the staff were all super nice. I can't wait to go back and rent a cabin for a weekend this summer just for my family to enjoy. Thanks again.

This was really nice. Clean and organized. We were 1 of 3 tent sites and my sister had another and it was great. Most of the camping folk respected the pandemic distancing and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I'd say DON'T GO THERE but that's only because I love it there and don't want you going and messing it up.

Nice catch and release pond. Lots of cabins, various sizes and accommodations. Lake access. Tent and trailer sites available. Most years they have a large guarded pool and splash zone for younger kids. Great views of Lake Erie sunsets.

Very quiet and lots to do. Cabins are very clean. Wish you could park by the cabins, I have a handicap parking pass and couldn't use it. You drop off your stuff at cabin and then go park your vehicle down aways. Way to much walking for me with my knees and breathing problem. I would however return there to camp again

Beautiful place, staff was very nice and informative. Lots of activities. Only complaint is rv spots were a little tight but we will definitely be back!!

My family loves Camp Sherwin! We used to have our summer vacation there when the kids were little. The kids have such wonderful memories of running around in the woods there, swimming in the pool, playing on the beach, fishing, and all things camping like singing around the fire and sleeping outside. It may be simple, but it brought us together. Thank you Camp Sherwin for priceless memories!

My son and I went to the Apple fest at Camp Sherwin. There was a lot of activities. It looks like it would be a great Campground. We walk down the steps to Lake Erie and collected rocks. It was really beautiful.

Great time, was here for a company picnic. Nice facilities, well kept. Kids had fun in the fishing pond caught some bluegills and sunfish. Really happy to have come!

We loved Camp Sherwin and had an amazing time!!! It was our 5 y/o twins first camping experience and they had a blast!!! We can't wait to come back.
