The Forest Lodge & Campground

We stayed with friends in the suite. We loved it! We had camp fires every night! Huge yard and a playground for the kids. We played board games in the large family room area. I love the view from the full size wrap around windows to the yard. Lots of cabinet space in the kitchen. The space was great! The owner is wonderful and very helpful. I would definitely recommend it to everyone! We will definitely be staying here again!

Suzie is a great host. Very accommodating. Only downside is we had to fill our water tank at a different campsite. Other than that,great site and service. Immaculate bathroom and shower area. Very convenient to riding. The trail leads to the campground.

We had a wonderful time here camping with friends, some of whom stayed in the lodge and cabin. The "suite" is extremely spacious and has all the comforts of home and a beautiful view out a large window. We spent some time here visiting and playing a board game. The cabins are also both very nice with lots of room. We stayed down in the camping area in tents and there were 5 of us on 2 sites. We had the whole place to ourselves! The sites were small but we spread out since we were alone. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all:: Especially for adults. My kids (9 and 13) were often bored as this is not a KOA. They dealt with it as it was only one night and we brought games and baseball stuff. There are a couple of trails to wander on too. I would very much recommend this wonderful place!

Visited during the Johnny Appleseed festival in October. The facility was extremely clean and the room was quaint. It had a mini fridge, microwave and bathroom with a shower. The sink was outside the bathroom which was convenient for washing up. The bedding was clean and comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets were in the closet. The room was small but it was also open so it was not.at all a disadvantage. We'd definitely book a room here again!

Very cool campground. We rented the cabin. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, and the rest is open living space that has 2 pullout couches and two single beds. There is also a fridge, microwave, TV and charcoal grill outside. The fire pit is awesome! The views are great!! Just FYI, no running water in the kitchen. The owner was very nice!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect little campground for family and friends to camp and have fun at. Trail access is easily accessible. Prices are great and I loved my stay there. Keep in mind, it is a small campground, so if you're looking for a larger one, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a small laid back one, come here.

The campsites were decent, except no electric unless you had an RV site. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful area, but wished there was something more activity-wise to do here at the campsite. Would definitely return again.

We stayed there for SxS riding on the Timberline and Marienville trails. Everything is dated, but very clean. I think the price was very good considering you have direct trail access, so you don't have to drive somewhere else and unload. Owner was very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

I was at the campground with some friends who have a camp site there. It was clean, quiet, well-kept, and the bathrooms there were decent. Not great, but decent. Otherwise, the campgrounds are wonderful, peaceful, and beautiful.

Camping at The Forest Lodge & Camp grounds in Pigeon, PA It was a great experience for us. Not far from town for fuel, food if you choose to dine out. Not far from riding the ATV trails. There are different events through out the year
I recommend looking at the schedule with the visiting bureau of the state of Pennsylvania.

The cabin we stayed in was enormous. There was a BBQ, clean facilities, a play structure for the kids, etc. Staff was friendly and grounds were well maintained. A great place for families.

Haven't personally stayed but heard it's a very nice place and from the folks i have seen it it a popular spot!

Awesome people. Stayed for 2 nights "tour de forest". Very clean. Direct trail access. Definitely be back soon. Can't say enough about the owners. Great folks.

Great place to stay if you plan on hitting trails on atv...can ride machine right to trail head from the campsite....campsite was great....very good time....owners very friendly. Looking fowardvto returning

Very pretty area with lots of sightseeing, fun stuff for kids to do and awesome places to eat as well ... Frank and Sue really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and clue us in to all the great things to do ... we really had a great time and will be back !!!

Amazing. The owners are super-nice. The location is excellent, quick access to the ANF motorized trail system and close to Marienville.

Can't say enough good things about this place. They make us feel comfortable every time we are there. Thanks again, and worth the experience. Recommended!
