Best Western Chambersburg

Wow what a difference, we stayed here a year ago and it needed love. Boy did it get love!! The bathrooms are something I wish we had at home! They look beautiful and are so clean!! I am disappointed that we stayed somewhere else at the beginning of our vacation this week. I wish we would’ve stayed here we would’ve had much better of an experience! Way to go Best Western Chambersburg! We will be back for sure!

This is a rarity for me when doing reviews, a chain hotel getting a five star rating.
I have stayed in about 40 different Best Western hotels over the past 10 years. This ranks in the top three.
From the moment you walk in and a cordially greeted by the front desk person, until the last trip to the car with luggage, everyone was respectful, polite and super friendly.
Room was very clean and well appointed with refrigerator, microwave, shower amenities and a very comfortable mattress.
The temperature controls were easy to figure out and kept the room at an even temp for our entire stay.
Breakfast was hot and tasty if lacking in variety. However, not chain has what they did prior to covid hitting.
Still everything was fresh and constantly refilled.
I have reservations about recommending this fine establishment without reservations.
I look forward to staying here again and again.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Very easy access to parking and building entrance.

Last minute pick with acceptable weekend price. Nice staff, good contental breakfast, clean modern room. I would definitely stay here again. Pool outside looked good just no time to swim. But others were certainly enjoying it.

We have stayed at this Best Western before, and we stayed again last night 4/28/2023.
I called ahead to reserve the room, we travel with our cat. When we arrived super friendly staff, very clean room, very comfortable beds, nice hot breakfast in the morning. And the coffee was great.
Easy checkout.
We highly recommend this very well-maintained hotel in Chambersburg, PA.

One of our favorite places to stay 1/2 way between SC & NH. Staff is so helpful.

Been staying here for years every time I am in the area. Wonderful staff, Sarah the manager is on top of everything. Very clean rooms with a gorgeous outdoor seasonal pool. Has a wonderful workout room too! Excellent warm breakfast, with make your own Belgian waffles too. No complaints!

I read the reviews before going there. One gripe was that it next to a highway and loud inside... My answer was... well its next to a highway... its obvious... Yes a water glass occasionally shakes like that scene in Jurassic Park, HOWEVER, I found no issue with the noise. Turn a fan on. The rooms were very clean, the staff very helpful and the breakfast tasty. My single gripe is this. They have a laundromat that requires quarters and yet have no change maker. I'd like to see a vending machine with soap powder etc... We had a tragic spill in our luggage and would have been nice to was things. Aside from that? yeah anytime I am back there They have us!

Looking for a hotel for a one night break on a long drive from Maine to Florida. Very happy with the choice of this Best Western in Chambersburg. Room was clean and comfortable. Quick check-in, luggage cart available, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good and check-out was quick.

This Best Western is a short drive off 81 at the Chambersburg exit, so it worked great for our trip traveling thru the area.
The hotel is all one floor which gave the rooms very high ceilings & made the rooms feel large. The room we reserved had a queen bed and an L-shaped sofa, so it felt spacious!
Our room had a TV, a microwave, a mini-fridge, & a single-serve coffeemaker.
The building is older but had some updates. Our room was clean & there were plenty of towels.

The front-desk staff was very accommodating for our very late arrival --much appreciated!

We really enjoyed the free breakfast of eggs, sausage, bagels & crean cheese, biscuits & gravy, make-your-own waffles, syrup, butter, jam packets, coffee, juices, cereal, apples. May have been a few other things, but that is what I remember.
The breakfast staffperson kept the area very clean & well-stocked! I thanked her for her great service & even tipped her, that's how much I appreciated her wonderful work!

Very pleasant and quiet stay at a very reasonable price. Nothing fancy but everything was just fine. Friendly and helpful staff. Also dog friendly.

We checked in around 1.00 am of night on Monday it was late and the check in person was fast in his check in process . The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. The only negative thing of this motel is that it is next to the high-way and in the night we can hear the big trucks passing by.

This Best Western in Chambersburg is fantastic. I typically stay in the Courtyard by Marriott, and this is comparable to it, at less than half the cost. I am very impressed. There was even a full, hot breakfast, (with waffle makers!) eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, muffins, toast, apples, cereals, coffee, and juice. The shower was HOT and the water pressure was amazing. FYI we had room 110 if you're concerned about ensuring you have water pressure, lol. Some reviews states a smell of curry as a complaint. We did smell it in the hallway, but not our room. If you're sensitive to smells, bring a room spray from bath & body or something. I do wish the windows opened so we could get fresh air. I would return here on future visits.

The Property was really good, the lobby was clean and well maintained. The check in process was really fast. The guy working in the night was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and in this Pandemic, they had full breakfast which was a plus point.Will again stay , if i have to visit this area.

This place was clean and really comfy bed. The best part it didn’t smell like smoke! I walked onto a few and walked right out. Free hot breakfast in the morning was so yummy! Great start to our travelling! Close to the highway which is convenient to get too but we could hear the traffic but we live on a highway so we are used to it. We will defiantly stay here again if we are in the area!

This hotel was great! Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was fresh and warm. The hotel was clean, neat, and well presented. The room (#107) was well appointed, clean, and newly furnished. Dinner was at Texas Roadhouse...a 5 minute walk from the hotel (with a hotel-provided 10% off coupon too). I had low expectations given the price ($88/night) but figured I'd stay there. I'm so glad I did! I will be back. Be aware, though, that if you stay on the "highway side" of the property, traffic noise may be intrusive.

It was very good for a motel so close to interstate. The whole staff was attentive and friendly to all my needs. The continental breakfast was nice. Room was clean and only a little stuffy. The only complaint is I would never take the room closest to access road or interstate.

This hotel, located right off of Interstate 81 Exit 16 in Chambersburg area of Pennsylvania. Easy on and off and plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself has been refurbished rooms are clean and new. Pool is open and available for use. The best part of this was that finally a hotel that allowed a full continental breakfast. The breakfast by itself was five star. The hotel was moderately priced but the accommodations were perfect for our needs. Well done Best Western ‼

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and were very pleased with all aspects of the stay. The people at the desk were courteous and helpful, the lobby was well appointed, the grounds were neat, the room was clean and fresh with all items in place. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast room was complete. All in all, a perfect night.
