Candlewood Suites Chambersburg, an IHG Hotel

I went to this hotel in the beginning of August it was nice but everything was being renovated in the lobby so everything was close but the room was really nice the tv was nice the beds were comfortable so that is good and if I go back to Florida again I would stay here again

This was a lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Every member of the team was remarkably helpful. Spacious room, excellent water pressure, comfortable beds and recliner. Free laundry facility and big truck parking (truck and trailer). Several restaurants within walking distance.

Friendly staff at front desk. Fully stocked kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and microwave. Very comfortable suite with a desk, two chairs, and a recliner.

Hotel was great. Staff helpful, clean and safe. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Best of all they are dog friendly for $25 a night. Close to Gettysburg and other battlefields to explore history. Staying there was a pleasure plan on returning in fall.

This hotel is one of my favorite. Yes, dehumidifier in the room which I appreciate. Today is a rainy day. Yes, there are post in the hall that ask to take trash out to the red bin which I think it is because (in my case) some of this rooms are rented for more than one days. Due to Covid-19 they don't come in to clean but they provide you fresh linen and all supplies needed.
In a different hotel a manager had us switch rooms to accommodate us to a clean room. Eventhough cleaning can be improve I give 4 starts because since covid-19 all hotels are struggling to stay at norm.
Grateful for the cleaning personnel that exposes themselves to our germs to give us clean rooms. If it wasn't for them I would probably be sleeping in my car...no, I am not homeless. I travel for business.

I don't usually comment on reviews but I was pleasantly surprised and felt it warranted the effort. The room has a full kitchen with cook top, full size microwave, sink, and frig, cupboards with dishes, large closet. There were subtle extras such as popcorn in the microwave and twizzlers on the pillow. So far so good. It is walking distance to some restaurants. Very clean. I would recommend.

Employees are polite, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the service is wonderful. It's like staying at a resort away from paradise. Candlewood is ONE of the best hotels that I have stayed at in a long time. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Unexpectedly wonderful! My family and I stayed at the Candlewood 1 night, but would highly recommend the comforts of thier beautiful accommodations. One of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. We will definitely return, if we ever are in the area and are in need of a sleep over.

Some if the best staff at any hotel I ever stayed at! The down side is during my stay there was a construction crew that kept tracking mud into the hotel lobby, hallways, evaluator, even the parking lot and sidewalks. Almost as soon as the staff cleaned it up, another crew member tracked more in.

Ignite Hospitality Services would like to thank everyone here at this property for providing such a great stay for our client Curtis Hill while staying after a local performance. The room was great, and there was plenty of parking even late in the evening. There was also a laundry room, and a fitness center to get some personal chores caught up on in the morning before hitting the road again!

We just returned from vacationing for 6 nights at the Candlewood Suites in Chambersburg PA. The staff is very friendly, and the room, clean with extremely comfortable bedding. I slept like a baby... We had our two little chihuahua"s with us, and it was very easy to walk them, as the room we were in was right near the door to the dog walk. I would give a great recommendation for this hotel. Don't forget to check out the pool while your there....

We are always impressed with Candlewood and often check in very late night/early morning. When we arrived at 2:00 a.m. to find IHG had not reserved our room, the night reception took charge. She gave us a room and sent us off to get some sleep while promising to handle the issue. We woke to find that she was true to her word! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet and we left feeling like family. We travel the extra miles to reach Candlewood and its worth it.

We only stayed one night, but the rooms were very nice and the staff friendly. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

They made a point of reminding us there was no breakfast served. But there are many places near by to eat.

Also the hotel is right off of the interstate.

The only downside were the smokers outside. One was right outside the door.

Great room ! Clean ,modern, accommodating. A/c was on when we arrived ( needed that!) Kitchen was well thought out. T.V. got all the right stuff.
I'd definitely go again.

Comfortable Clean rooms, and wonderful staff members. They even have grills outside with lawn chairs and tables so you can BBQ if you're feeling up to it. This place definitely feels like home. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great customer service. Very clean room. We got there at 10:30 pm and walked in to find out they upgraded our room to a very nice suite. We will most definitely be back to Candlewood suites from now on. Perfect in every way.

From the wonderful reception, to the ultra-easy checkout, my stays (2 nights a week apart) my experience was great. Stunning room, great workout room, fantastic pool, hot tub and a really great staff. I'll stay there whenever I'm in the area.

Stayed here one night on points and it's a perfectly nice hotel.

On the plus side: very helpful desk staff, reasonably close to the downtown area and to the college, above average bed for this class of hotel, nice linens/towels.

On the minus side: not much that I can think of.
