Rock Springs Store & Deli

Nice to have this local deli in my town. My husband came home with two different desserts and they were amazing! One was a chocolate cake with caramel, the other was peanut butter cookie crumble. Will definitely be going back for more and to try the sandwiches.

Stopped here when I went on a motorcycle ride in PA and ended up in Maryland. Saw this place on the side of the road and they have a full on deli that makes awesome food of any kind. Miss these kind of delis since living in NYC. Cheesteak was awesome and sitting outside was nice.

Love their sandwich and they have sunbeam bread that's all I eat in alabama I brings it too Maryland but now they have it

Best soft serve icecream ever. They give such a large amount for such a cheap price and will cover your entire icecream in sprinkles.

The very best turkey sub I've had in my life. The pizza was also AMAZING. Very friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices. They also have amish baked goods that are phenomenal!

My wife and I usually drive about an hour when we have a craving for a good american sub. We found this place while road tripping during the start of the pandemic. Wonderful food and great country atmosphere. Five stars!

This place hasn't changed much in the 15 years since I was last there- which I find super charming. The soft serve ice cream is great, and they have picnic tables outside where you can sit and enjoy your treats. It makes for a nice time with your loved ones!

I've been driving by this place for over 20 years and had never stopped. BIG mistake on my part. An acquaintance told me to try out their homemade crab bisque and their subs yesterday, and since I didn't feel like cooking that night, drove on down. WARNING: Do NOT go in here super hungry, or you will walk out with a WHOLE lot of stuff!! They have so many yummy looking things to eat, both freshly made, AND pre-packaged for quick grab an go, that making up your mind will be difficult. When you walk in the door you have a food case right there chock full of freshly made salads (potato, macaroni, broccoli, etc.) A deli case packed with Dietz & Watson meats, cheeses, etc. Single slices of homemade cakes and pies. Crab pretzels ready to take home and bake yourself. Or you can order hot or cold subs (which are very good - a little pricey, though, but you are paying for better deli meat), or sandwiches, or pizza. Haven't tried their pizza yet. Give me time. I will. Throughout the store are locally made cakes, pies, doughnuts, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, etc. Not chain supermarket junk, but GOOD stuff. In the refrigerated cases in the back are more to-go containers of homemade soups and other foods. And the crab bisque? DELICIOUS!! Not cheap, but worth it. Bottom line - I'm an idiot for not having stopped here before!!

Took the motorcycle out today and decided to finally stop after passing by many times. Neat place and a pleasant surprise. Got a tuna sub, came with a medium drink and small bag of chips for $8.00 plus tax. Ladies at the counter were very pleasant and talkative. Store very well displayed, even with limited quantity of products. Reminded me of an old country store. Ate at the picnic tables under the front porch. Definitely stop the next time past.

love this place. Taking the motorcycle for 22 miles on back roads to get just to buy a hoagie and come home. They also carry McClure cakes and other baked goods. good soft serve as well.

I live in Aberdeen md and shop there often, Their prices and personal r great. It's well worth the trip to shop there.

Went for the first time for their annual clearance sale, LOVED IT! Picked up a few more gifts at bargain prices! Nice, wide variety of products. Convenient location off the highway, easy to find.

Love everything about this nice country store. To the ppl and the food the ice cream... amazing! Fun to take the kids or family and get something to eat on a nice day out. They Have a few picnic tables outside and that way you can either eat there or take out.

My first time there. It was amazingly charming! I had the Maryland crab bisque and corn nuggets. Everything was delicious! Had a soft-serve come for dessert,which was also delicious!

Was around the area for work coming from DC. Stopped by for some lunch not expecting much and I gotta say it was one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I have ever had. And I've had a lot of them.... If you're passing by please do yourself a favor, stop by, and enjoy.

I'm a fan of Half Priced Hardware (surplus) but this place, while not as big, is much better organized. You can actually find things and they're priced. I'll definitely be back.

Place is legendary to local musicians!
