Golden Rye Grille

We opted to stop here for my FIL's birthday last Sunday after a friend had recommended it. We'd never been or heard of it, but the reviews sounded promising so we figured we'd give it a shot. It was delicious! Such a cool little place, nothing fancy but the food was great, the staff were super friendly, and we absolutely cannot wait to come back!! The worst part was trying to decide what to eat because it all sounded good!

Visited today for 1st time and happy to say it won't be our last. Fantastic staff, delicious food and reasonable prices.

The sausage gravy and homefries are actually made in their kitchen! And very good. My over-easy eggs were perfect with homefries. As usual, a very good breakfast.

This is one of my favorite places to go! I absolutely love this restaurant, it is very family oriented & I love the way it’s decorated! No matter if you are getting breakfast or lunch, it’s always good. The meals are always the perfect proportion, not a ton of leftovers but you aren’t leaving hungry either! I also enjoy seeing the owner pop in time to time. It really shows how much he loves his staff and business!

Very impressed. Food was hot, they didn't rush us and the waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free needs. Great experience!

We’ve always enjoyed this restaurant, but today ours meals were a little better than the Always Good😊. My husband had the GRG Mess, and I had the grilled chicken melt on sourdough with vegetable beef soup. Everything was very delicious, makes me want to go back tomorrow!

Small town family restaurant as it can be. Very good and somewhat underpriced. Save a buck and go here!

The Golden Rye is a great place for family events. The venue is welcoming and cozy. Brad and Michelle are kind, helpful and accommodating. And everyone wanted seconds of their potatoes!

So I went to the Golden Rye with my client because hus workshop was closed due to weather today. They all know him there since it is very close to where he lives. We were seated immediately and our drinks were on the table in about 2 mins. We both ordered the buffalo chicken wrap which was really good. I normally don't care for wraps but the wrap itself was super fresh, the chicken was tender as butter- really! - and it was just a little spicy without causing sweat or choking like some places buffalo chicken does. I had beef tortellini soup as my side and it was DELICIOUS. He had onion rings which were plentiful, hot, and huge and he loved them. Great experience. The restaurant was spotless, service was excellent and the food was very good. Neither of us used the restroom but I would bet they are also spotless. Plenty of parking, lot was all plowed. There are both booths and tables, plenty of windows so the place is light and airy. Darling Valentine's Day decorations. The main spotlight is on the wall of old photos showing much of the area's history and is well done and interesting to pretty much everyone. Only drawback I see.....they close at 2pm. They are a breakfast\brunch\lunch restaurant.

Atmosphere is cozy and hometown feeling. Meat Omelet was scrumptious, very tasty. Husband's club was very big, French Fries are really good. Definitely will be a repeat customer!

I've been here several times for breakfast. They have a great menu with all the options you could want. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff has always been very friendly. It's probably my favorite breakfast place in the area. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Wonderful atmosphere, people and food. We had to wait a bit for our meal but it was perfectly understandable based on the number of people. They were constantly filling our coffee cups...we did not feel neglected.

The potatoes are fantastic, and the sour dough is excellent.
