Great little market. Nice complete selection of goods. Great beer inventory and a state liquor store too. If you’re in the Montgomery area you can’t go wrong.

It's a Great little store at the base of Jay Peak with a liquor store and various choices of beers and wines. To assist with your travel also have gasoline available.

Unbelievable selection for dinner in a pinch. Friendly staff. Clean and organized. Always busy and we can see why. They carry a little bit of everything. You won't find the most selection of a specific item but you will find just about any item you could want. We bought alcohol, candles, specialty dark chocolate, vegan cookie dough ice cream, non dairy milk, and fresh fruit. Truly, they have a mix of all.

This is the very best small town grocery store I've ever seen. They have all of the ordinary items but also sell lots of stuff that is not ordinary. Liquor, wine, and beer is also sold. Enjoyable shopping experience.

Friendly staff and unexpected variety for a small town supermarket, good beer and wine selection, quality meats, and great deli sandwiches. They sell mascarpone and have a decent selection of gluten free and organic items, and a separate liquor department. If there's something they don't stock, they are responsive to customers and will order specialty products for you, or often add those items to their regular inventory. One point: consider the low volume before you critique the produce- I live part time in Montgomery and am grateful to be able to quickly walk over and get some lettuce or an avocado- and I'm mindful of the effort it takes to stock these items when you're an independent store quite a ways off the beaten path.

Stop here if you're going skiing or are up in the area. There is surprising variety (so many spices!) and everything is well priced. If you need groceries up at the hotel get them here. There is a great selection of wine and beer but the best is certainly in their deli department. Every single time I go to Jay I stop here and get a grinder (sandwhich/hoagie/sub for you flatlanders...). Boars head meats and cheeses are offered if I recall (maybe Mackenzie too, not sure). The staff are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. This place has the feel of other general stores that you find here in Vermont, but has the variety/prices of a larger chain store. As a Vermonter, I appreciate that greatly!!!

Quand on vient camper dans la région c'est ici qu'on vient faire nos achats. On trouve de tout. Bon choix de bières de microbrasserie. Seul bémol, la pompe à essence est difficilement accessible.
