I am 70 years old now and I have been purchasing furniture from Chain-Mar since the age of 16.

We moved in 2022 and purchased all new furniture from Chain-Mar Furniture.

The dining room chairs sunk when sitting on them. I spoke to Bob about the issue, and he asked us to bring a chair in so that he could evaluate the issue. In a couple of days, Bob called me to tell me that we could come pick the chair up and to bring 2 chairs at a time to make them firm for sitting. I was very satisfied with the results. We were not charged for this service.

Over the years I have bought a lot of furniture at ChainMar. You can get furniture cheaper at other stores, but ChainMar has the best quality and service. Plus, the assurance that it is well made and the manufacturer stands behind their product.

A large number of customization options are available and there are many fabrics available to choose from.

Absolutely fantastic. My wife and I wanted a new couch, my parents have London Furniture by LaZBoy and we wanted to follow suit. We went to a shop in NJ that sold it, designed our whole couch and I asked 'Will it fit' into a 32in Rowhome house. The answer we got back was 'I think so.' Well being custom, I was not going to go with 'I think so' because once you buy it its yours.

So very dejected we returned to our house. I looked up another London Furniture dealer (Chan Mar) and emailed them. Bob and his team were AWESOME. First they assured me that they would guaranteed whatever we bought would fit into the door, and would send someone out to measure for FREE. He even offered that if we came to the store we would go through all the options.

So we tracked out there on Monday, braving the traffic on 76, and boy was it worth it. Sadly, we did not end up with the couch that we wanted, because it would indeed not fit. But fear not, they had multiple high end custom options that would fit. We were looking at CraftMaster and FlexSteel, and ultimately decided on the Craftmaster. It was pricier(1000$ more) than the London, BUT it was a superior product(also not knocking London, my parents have multiple pieces and they're amazing, had it fit, we would have one). But my options were, a couch that was more expensive or a couch that would not fit unless I widened my door. What's even better, FREE DELIVERY. No nickel and dimming over 'milage radius,' preferred day? No Problem. The movers even moved the old couch out to the curb, and were professional and took very good care of the couch. One of the feet fell when they were taking it off, and rather than hide a slight scratch they were upfront and told me. I was fine, because its a foot.

Had an overall amazing experience, and will be returning back there as well referring anyone that will listen to go.

I was in immediate need of an in stock reclining chair. Chain Mar had several to choose from and in stock, ready to deliver. They were so pleasant to deal with and they scheduled delivery for the next day. Their delivery team could not have been more professional. Chain Mar is a great place to buy furniture. They sell real quality stuff there. Real wood. Not the laminated wood products like you might be encouraged to buy because of "low prices." Both of our purchases in the last year were from American manufacturers that supports American workers. My wife hates when you go into a big box furniture store and the sales associates attack you as you walk in the door, like piranha going to feast on a cash cow. Our experience at Chain- Mar was the complete opposite. We entered the store and walked around for a while before Bob came by to see how he could help. We told him we were looking for a sofa and chair. He told us to walk around at our leisure and check out the many sofas they had on display. When we found the sofa & chair that we wanted, Bob was very helpful in helping us pick out the right fabric and throw pillows. Bob and Nancy are very knowledgeable about their products and are definitely the best when it comes to customer service. If you're looking to design your own sofa and chair to your personal taste, then this is the place to go. Outstanding personal service and great prices, why shop anywhere else?

My husband and I were looking for both a sofa and a mattress. Chain-Mar was suggested by a friend so we visited the store and we were so pleased with the service not to mention the selection. Went looking for a couch and chair for my living room also I needed a manual recliner for my family room and a small glider/swivel chair for my "she room". I was able to find everything and the service was wonderful! Thank you Nancy for your patients and understanding with exactly what I was looking for. You were a pleasure to work with. They sell very good quality, well-built furniture, and you choose your fabric and configuration! The prices are very affordable and they provide old school customer service. AND design services are included. No comparison between them and the chain stores. Glad I took the ride to Norristown. Free parking in nice lot behind the store.
