Have been back to Gangster Vegan and tried all the juices. Soo good! Also had the Notorius (sunflower seed tuna) Salad however as a sandwich on the dehydrated onion bread. I will admit my first foray into this type of vegan meal. I loved every bite!

I stopped in last week looking for a smoothie but walked out with a juice to try instead. I had The Truth juice and it was delicious! I will be back to try more items. I can't believe how long this establishment has been here and I have driven right by.

Friendly staff and plentiful parking.

Everything was flavorful, colorful and delicious! This is my go-to Vegan spot and I highly recommend it. I'm currently working my way through the menu to try everything. 😄😋

I’ve been visiting this awesome vegan restaurant since 2015. They have been very consistent with the quality and Wholesome raw vegan food options. Dishes are made with farm sourced ingredients and made with love & integrity.

Ive enjoyed many dishes from the menu & this place never disappoints. If you are looking for vegan junk food this is not your place. They use Whole Foods & I always leave feeling nourished.

Delicious vegan gluten free food. So tasty, very filling portions. It was so good we got food to go for our next meal on our Philly road trip.

First time there today! Wow delicious food. Love the options PJ suggested and I love the mos def cake. Everything was so excellent can't wait to go back!

This place is A1 when it comes to vegan food. Well worth the hour drive to experience this amazing food! The staff is awesome and the “AY PAPI (burrito bow)” was my favorite and puts chipotle to bed. The “KALEFORNIA SOUL (Kale bowl)” was a close second and I mean close! You’d be hard pressed to find anything with kale to come close to how awesome this tasted, and who doesn’t love fresh juice! I highly recommend the “REDMAN” of you like sweet fruity drinks, 1 was definitely not enough. 10/10 would recommend, don’t just take my word for it, get out and try for yourself while supporting a small business!

One of the best vegan spots on the planet. My first, and by far, my favorite place to eat. Fresh, raw, flavorful, healthy, guilt free and reasonably priced organics. Irreplaceable

Gangster Vegan is an awesome spot for unique plant-based food. The portion sizes are generous and flavors are bold considering the reasonable prices. Their menu is broken down by salads, smoothies, bowls, and burgers. You won’t find a lot of the more traditional vegetarian options. Instead, expect beet and broccoli burgers, nacho cashew cheese, and other creative components. My personal favorite is the taco salad; walnut meat, avocados, and cashew cheese piled on a bed of fresh lettuce.

The service is always fast and friendly, and their seating area works for a fast casual concept. Highly recommended for a meatless lunch...even if you’re not opposed to meat typically (like me).

Best vegan portion sizes in philly. Each bowl here was around 12$ and so filling and flavorful!

I wish their was a Gangster Vegan in Philly. Second time visiting within the last couple of weeks. Food is nutritious and delicious. Had the ODB burger this time, and the Ay Papi bowl on the last visit. Can't go wrong with either selection. A variety of juices and smoothies to choose from, as well as, desserts. The Mos Def is a must try if you have a sweet tooth.

This place is worth the trip! The food is the most freshest Ive had at any vegan restaurant .. and thats just for starters. We ordered and array- both burgers on the menu, a toona samdwich ( all come with a delicious Kale salad) and an Ay papi salad as well as a Green light and a Cream smoothie. All was shared and there is no favorites. ALL WERE #1 and that had nothing to do with the very friendly staff.. just a Win Win because I love visiting great small business with great people who take pride in their craft.

Located in the up-and-coming Cross Street Market in Federal Hill, this newly opened vendor-style restaurant offers vegan salads, bowls, and sandwiches. I was initially turned-off by the fact that their menu doesn't incorporate traditional meat substitutes such as tofu, seitan, or tempeh. The food instead uses ostensibly healthier, less processed meat substitutes derived from beets and mushrooms, for example. However, I wasn't able to have a burger because they were short on some of the ingredients--hopefully, this doesn't happen too often. Instead, I opted for a delicious bowl called the "Ay Papi", which earned the restaurant its 5 stars.

Love the atmosphere and the woman who made the food has an awesome personality. The food is great and will leave you feeling awake and cleansed. I'll be back again💓🙌🏾

The menu is great. It's vegan and the juice is amazing. There is not much seating, only 2 small tables, but great for takeout.

Finally got to try it out for the first time today and it was everything I expected. They got a great thing going on. Its healthy, tasty, and staff was friendly

Great food! I'm not a vegan but I don't eat meat - I had the Esta Loca Salad and it was fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed the walnut taco "meat" .Also had the Alchemy (Mediterranean) Bowl. Both were fresh and tasty. I'll be back!

I stopped in around lunchtime and got a juice (redman) and a sandwich (some kind of imitation tuna). I very much enjoyed both, especially the juice. The sandwich came with a side of kale, which was also good. They have a bathroom, which was clean. The street that the business is on is very busy, so it can be hard to pull in and out. There was plenty of parking though. The restaurant was also clean and had plenty of seating. The person who took my order was friendly. Overall, I would recommend it.
