El Sarape Mexican Cuisine and Tequila Bar

We were a group of 7 at their first mixology class experience. It was AMAZING! Ismael is so knowledgeable about tequila, agave, and a perfectionist about the drinks. He was so nice, friendly, and patient explaining everything; the passion for what he does clearly shows and the drinks were just perfection. On top of that all the food was outstanding, and everyone else was very friendly too. We all just had a blast with awesome drinks, food, and people! Can’t wait to go back.

Everything was absolutely awesome! We were in the area for a Marriage Retreat an this was a perfect place for a date night dinner. I wish they were closer to my hometown.

Food was amazing and the decor is really fun inside. Next time I definitely need to get the guacamole!

The food here is so good! I haven’t had a bad meal here. I would highly recommend coming here. Jesús, our server, was great—he was very attentive, kind, and answered any questions my group had. Also— their margs are the best around!

I’ve come here plenty of times and have always left happy and looking forward to going back! The lunch menu and dinner menu are both fantastic. I highly recommend the chihuahua nachos with chicken and a blood orange margarita! Thank you El Serape for always delivering an excellent meal and experience.

We are visitors from the Czech Republic and this restaurant blew our mind. The food is really good and authentic. Really good margaritas and sangria. The staff is welcoming and nice.

Jimmy is excellent. He takes great care of us. We have been here numerous times. He is an excellent source of information and provides outstanding service. The food is always great. Portions are generous. We love the homemade chips and anything with carnitas.

Kicked off the first week of kiddo’s spring break with dinner out and it was the perfect start. Food was excellent, Sheila was very personable and kept up with all our requests with a smile. Definitely recommend!

Food was very good. We had carnitas, mole enchiladas and red salsa cheese enchiladas. All were very good. My 10 yo had the Mexican pizza that she polished off (we were impressed). Guacamole was good. Might be helpful to ask how spicy we would like it? (It was pretty mild). Service by Shilo was very attentive but not overbearing. We were very well taken care of. One star lost bc music (DJ) in the beginning was super loud and the hostess tried to seat us in front of the speakers. We asked for a different table and were quickly accommodated. The DJ stopped 1/2 way through our meal, which was a good thing. We enjoyed the music but it was just too loud. Drinks were solid. Would come back.

Both my husband and I, had wonderful, fresh and authentic food! Loved the atmosphere and the staff was excellent! We will definitely come back here when we are in the vicinity! I had Pollo Dos Queso and my husband had the Molcajete (steak, chicken, chorizo and shrimp) He loves his food in a lava rock dish! Lol!

I've been eating here for years. They changed locations and even upgraded their food and menu. They're stuffed chilean sea bass is awesome and the grilled octopus appetizer is amazing. They have a variety of really good drinks and I've never had a bad experience at this establishment.

The food was great as always! As was the service, Luis was very friendly, personable and attentive! The spicy cucumber margarita is so good! They sampled a new smoked watermelon margarita that was really good!

We love El Serape! The bartenders are attentive and a pleasure to work with! We especially love Ishmael and Armando, they are the best!

The entrees were SO good! The grilled salmon ceviche special was probably one of the best grilled salmons I’ve ever had. The fish tacos were really crispy and well cooked on the inside.
The service and staff there is great and super friendly. Would def recommend

This restaurant and staff are always superb! Great ambience and excellent food. We have been very fortunate to have Jimmy as our server on 2 separate occasions. Not only is he helpful with recommendations but overdelivers on everything from drinks to input on dishes to try. He is the ultimate professional!
