My family and I really like this restaurant! They definitely don't skimp on the portions you will get your money's worth. My kids really like the tortilla chip's they put out while you're waiting for your food. And the decor is really nice 👌

Food was delicious and the salsa is actually spicy! Very flavorful wish I lived in the area so I can be a regular. Atmosphere is cool not all that big of a dining area but the food so good I would eat it anywhere if you live out here you are lucky to have this gem.

More stylish and a little costlier than your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant in Gringolandia (or, more specifically, Norristown), La Chilanguita is a winner: During a recent visit to this brightly decorated establishment, the pozole verde proved fragrant and delicious, with lots of tender pieces of pork in a thick, nourishing broth, and four chicken flautas thrown in (literally) for garnish in the bargain. In addition to typical Chilango fare—a Chilango, colloquially, denotes someone from Mexico City—the menu offers platos Oaxaqueños such as tlayudas, among other surprises that will keep you coming back. Expand your understanding of what Mexican food can be by eating at La Chilanguita.

Amazing food! Amazing service. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Definitely try their birria tacos. Their Mexican juices are so good, love the melon one. So yummy. Perfect little lunch spot. Cute decor. Their menu is massive.

Really good taqueria! Initially assumed this place was fast food tex-mex but was pleasantly surprised to discover that it wasn't. They offer an assortment of guacamole options that are absolutely delicious. The tacos rise above expectations and are devine. Although an "ordinary"/unassuming appearance, this place is everything but ordinary. Our server, Jasmine, was kind, patient, and attentive. I will make an effort to frequent this place when visiting Norristown.

The best green salsa. Made daily by the owner. The red sauce is great too if you like it super spicy

The food atmosphere and service were too notch! This is truly a diamond in the rough! We went on a Sunday afternoon and we were entertained by a live musician.

Excellent as always... Amazing food , The Great attentive staff are always helpful and at ease. A great tasting of the home regions flavor and family recipes I was told.

I was around the area so I decided to try them out. I own a Mexican restaurant myself just about 1 hr from them, and let me tell you there al pastor tacos are really good, so was EL MOLCAJETE , everyone was very friendly! The owner even offered us some free dessert why not we took it haha. This will be our go to spot when around the area! Don’t let the bad reviews stop you from eating at this place! Go try them out for yourselfs !

Get the quesobirria tacos. It is delicious. The chips and salsa they give you are delicious. Just be careful as the salsa has a little kick. They have fresh juices as well.
