First time at the Sumneytown Hotel and won’t be the last. Loved the historical atmosphere paired with the upscale menu. Everything we got was delicious including the cocktails, inventive specials (steak bruschetta), spicy Caesar salad, mushroom ravioli, chicken pot pie, and burgers. Can’t forget the desserts with Irish cream ice cream and espresso martinis!

Drove by this place many times and never stopped in until today. Such a nice, quaint little spot that I will definitely be enjoying again. Enjoyed a really tasty Portuguese lunch and beer there with my brother and sister in law. The wait staff was warm and friendly, Michelle and Jess made for an amazing afternoon, thank you! I had a wonderful time!

An absolute gem!
Not only is this a historic location full of character but the new life and amazing food & staff really lock it in as worth a drive/visit. Had a family party there recently and if you get the opportunity to do so - DO!
Jessica was organized and fun to worth with during planning. Chef Nadia was/is so very creative and on point with favors.
The entire team went above and beyond making all guests feel welcome and taken care of.

Excellent food and service! The dining areas have been wonderfully restored inside and attention is paid to every detail to make the atmosphere enjoyable.
There are several delicious gluten-free options available on the menu if you have dietary restrictions.

I cannot say enough positive things about the experience we had booking 22 people for a holiday dinner. Jess was so helpful and easy to work with. She and our waitress made the experience a pleasure. The food was delicious, the night went well and we cannot thank you enough!

Salmon BLT was really good. Chicken Pot Pie was almost too pretty to eat. Delicious! Good drink selection too. Michelle, our server, was wonderful, very personable and welcoming. Will definitely go again.

I have so many fond memories of the Sumneytown Hotel, and thanks to the Jamison family, can look forward to many more! The renovation/restoration is absolutely stunning. Thank you for keeping some of our nostalgic favorites on the menu - although I look forward to trying everything!

OMG what a wonderful dining experience! We came early, sat at the bar, and Michelle took good care of us. Everything we ordered was outstanding, from the mussels, chicken pot pie to the fish & chips. All sooooo good. We're definitely making Monday evenings our go to here.

Neat place in a little village out in the country. People were all great. I had the meatloaf. Wife had a seafood platter. Both were excellent.

My wife is gluten free and they handled that perfectly.

Thanks!

Excellent food. Imaginative watermelon salad with blackened salmon, the salmon cooked perfectly. Calamari appetizer with a marinara sauce, crunchy corn meal crust, also excellent. Octopus appetizer: excellent. Everyone else at the table praised their selections. Wide selection of beers, many on tap, others in bottle. Good selection of pub food in addition to the full menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sumneytown Hotel, and I must say that it was a truly delightful experience. The staff at the restaurant were simply wonderful, providing friendly and attentive service throughout my entire meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and their enthusiasm for the restaurant and its offerings was infectious.

But what really impressed me about the Sumneytown Hotel was the delicious food. The dinner was prepared with the freshest ingredients and the utmost care, and every bite was a true delight for the senses. I particularly enjoyed the variety of flavors in each dish and the creative combinations of ingredients. The presentation was also impressive, making each dish a work of art.

Under new management and they have turned this place into a destination for anyone looking for a great meal in a historically renovated atmosphere. Good portion sizes, health wine pours and some of the best desserts I'v ordered out at a restaurant in a very long time. Can't wait for our next meal here. One piece of constructive criticism would be to address the acoustics in the large dining area. It was quite crowded the night we went and it was difficult hearing our waiter at time because there was a lot of echo in the room.

My husband and I recently dined here for a date night. We were drawn in by the menu which had vegetarian/pescatarian options but also liked the historical atmosphere of the place. The drinks, food and service were all fantastic. Definitely a great dinner spot.
Things to try: truffle burrata, calamari and scallops 👌🏻.

Stopped in for a quick after work drink and appies. People were very friendly, quick to make cocktails and the truffle burrata was delicious. The inside has been restored but keeps its original atmosphere intact, the bar is absolutely gorgeous, they knew what they were doing to keep this cozy spot's authenticity. Perfect neighborhood pit stop, but prices are a bit higher than expected. Overall I will definitely go back.

We were lucky enough to stop by here on Superbowl Saturday. Typically, my girlfriend and I share the meal and order multiple items from the menu.

We were not disappointed. Mussel appetizer was cooked perfectly. We shared the short rib stroganoff. It was hot, flavorful and made me happy. Oh yeah, the carrot cake is the bomb.

Winter Margarita (x2) was smooth while the Malbec hit the spot. No drinks were over $10 - nice.

Thanks, we'll come again.
