This bait shop rocks! The folks are super friendly and super knowledgeable. If not too busy they will educate you and be enthusiastic about it. You can ask any question regardless of your own knowledge and experience and not feel shy or intimidated doing so. They have all tackle and services imaginable with prices on par or maybe even better than online shopping. They even have an outside vending machine where you can grab live baits and tackles after hours. If you have questions, or desire edification I recommend stopping in during their opening or closing hours. Highly recommend this shop for all your fishing needs.

What a well hidden treasure of fishing gear. Everyone was SO helpful! Guided us to pick a rod/reel set for our grandson. We could not be happier with our purchase and all the great staff. We will definitely return.

I had trouble navigating the store when I first walked in, but I'm rather inexperienced. So I asked one of the reps for assistance and he was incredibly helpful. He got me set up pretty well and explained everything. I highly recommend stopping by

A local gem, this store lives up to its name.Classic salt and freshwater supplies, great selections, and a most knowledgeable staff. My. Steelhead trout t r ip is now fully equipped as 5 friends and I head off to the Salmon Rive r, in Pulaski NY, for our 25th annual pilgrimage before lThanksgiving. Fish on !!!Thanks to the S0 team.

This place is great. It's nice to have a staff that gives a dam and will try to answer your questions to the best of there knowledge. I drive 30 minutes just for minnow's even though I'm fishing 30 the opposite way. The selection of tackle is the best around by far and they are not afraid to keep the shelves stocked . This place was awesome. A buddy and i pulled up very impromptu for a random fishing trip tho this place. It was amazing. The staff there is fantastic and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about their passion! MY MAN RICHIE did his thing!!! Made us feel VERY welcome, was VERY informational of not only gear/equipment, but local spots, what's good to catch, what's in the the waters, you name it!! Definitely the place to go to for little ANY of your fishing needs. From fresh to salt water, A-Z. ..

Good selection, patient when indecisive. You can tell they lean heavy to St. Croix (which are great rods, so nothing wrong with that) but they have multiple options and aren’t like some shops where they try to force you into their brand of choice. They support your choices and interests and will help to educate you on it if you ask. I’m about 30min out but it’s definitely my goto shop & worth the ride - especially since these true fishing shops are becoming harder to find. Hope they stick around for many years to come.

FREAKING AWESOME 😎👍 this has to be the best fishing shop in the majority of kop, Philly, Norristown, Bridgeport etc. When I called on the phone they were extremely helpful and willing to provide information. When I arrived at the store they were more than happy to help with my questions not just about gear but also about fishing. Even took the time to teach me new knots and the best way to rig up. Also they were not trying to sell me on the most expensive stuff and took my criteria into account and helped suggest products to fit what I needed. I left feeling super happy and went straight to the river and caught a flathead on my very first cast!!! I'll never step foot into a bass pro shop again. Thank you to the staff and owners, I'm stoked to have found a good local spot!

Outstanding customer service! Knowledgeable and friendly staff that knows what they are talking about. Totally different experience than going to one of the big chain stores. Well stocked with items that are difficult to find in this area such as quality saltwater reels and rods. Highly recommend for amateur to the angler with decades of experience,this is the spot.

Best tackle store in the area by far. The guys working there are extremely helpful and nice. Doesn't matter what species you're going after, they have everything you need. And more. Can't say enough good things about this place

Was here today to outfit two future conventional anglers/ fisherman. Explained what I was looking for. A young gentleman initially helped me, very jovial, and informative. He was getting off work, so he handed me off to another gentleman from behind the counter. He enthusiastically took the time to introduce several choices of rods and reels, as well as some Trilene, ( when I was a conventional angler I preferred Stren or Maxima). The choice was made,St Croix Triumph rods in medium light action 6' long, two Shimano Senna Reels both equipped with 6 pound olive Trilene, , a few odds and ends to get these two anglers on pan fish and both smallmouth and largemouth bass.I can't say enough about the service and hospitality. For conventional angling this store and it's staff Rock. Be back for bait next weekend.
BTW this setup will Rock for trout also

Wow! I am so happy to have found this place! The customer service was phenomenal! I am a newbie and they hooked me up with all the gear that I need for upcoming vacation! It was a little intimidating walking into how many products they have in store but the gentlemen that were working today made me feel so comfortable and answered all of my questions with expertise and kindness. I will for sure be coming back!!
