This is a very good old fashioned dinner!
The people were very friendly and the food and service were excellent.

This was such an amazing little family owned restaurant. It was so cute and had some delicious food. We got the cheese omelet, the Little Richard, and the Big Bopper and they were all delicious. The owner even came to our table to chat with us and he was so nice. He said they have been in business for about 49 years. I highly suggest eating here!

Me and the crew love this places it really is a gem awesome food and great servers. (I like my home fries well done.)

Everything was great at the jem, ordered a breakfast platter with bacon as my choice meat. I was surprised that they didn't cheap out in the bacon. There were more pieces than I expected, and I was definitely not upset about it. The atmosphere was really busy, but the food was still right on time. Coffee was piping hot, and the wait staff was nice. What more could you really ask for? We will definitely be returning.

Fun 50's dinner with lots of atmosphere. Food always good and large portions. Friendly staff. AND BINGO once a month the last Wednesday night of the month, by reservation only.Celebrationg 50 yrs! Congratulations

A Diamond 'Jem' in the rough! What I want in a Diner... Clean, Friendly, Delicious AND Economical. This Egg & Canadian Bacon sandwich may look lonely, but it is EXACTLY what I wanted! Simple and customized to my individual taste. Great for family, couples or single dining. Go check it out!

Jem is the place to go for breakfast in the East Norriton area and beyond. There are two counters, many tables and booths. Very friendly waitresses who will keep your coffee cup filled. The 50's decor is interesting, and the tabletops have nostalgic 50's trivia Q & A on them. Food is the standard breakfast staples which is good and reasonably priced. Famous for their "Scrapple Stix's" and Bo's sausage gravy over biscuits. Come talk sports with the owner Tony who makes the rounds to visit and greet everyone. At this time, it is cash only, but they have an ATM machine by the front counter. $$

This is truly a GEM of a place. The people who work there (from the moment we walked in) are friendly, kind, and accommodating. Even the other customers were chatting with us! Not only is the food hot, delicious, and served quickly, but all of the menu items are reasonably priced. Finally, it's not boring - every wall is covered with memorabilia and also lots of completed, glued, laminated jigsaw puzzles. How cool is that? This lovely, charming place deserves way more than 5 🌟!

Service, food and ambience is fantastic, Tony, the owner, has reached over 50 years in business and he still take pride of his job serving the community, he takes the time to say hi and build rapport with his clients. Love it there

We had my moms 70th birthday here. Linda was a wonderful help in accommodating all of our needs. The milkshakes were a hit! Jem’s is a great classic dinner!

The owner was very nice and introduced himself to me it was my first time there, and I thought that was cool, I liked the way the place was set up they had a front counter style I've never seen before, and the waitress was good and the food was delicious.

This is our very favorite spot in the area! Breakfast or lunch, for a date or with the whole family. The service is great, food is great, and prices are great.

Old school diner vibes. I mean really old school - but in the best way. Great neighborhood spot with a lively atmosphere and reasonably priced, quality comfort food.

I absolutely love this place. My father and me go here just about every Saturday and the food keeps on getting better. The owner talks to everyone like they are family. Places like this and dinners in general will always be a favorite go to by me.

Jem IS a gem! I have been to Jem numerous times, including this morning, and I am ashamed of myself, for having never written a review before. Every single time I have had breakfast here has been stellar. I love to bring my grandchildren with me, and today was one of those occasions. Everything was wonderful, and I had a lovely conversation with the owner. The food is always great, the service is excellent, and my grandkids enjoy the decor tremendously.
