Lovely owners, lovely food, great place, and do great things for the community. Idk if there is more you could want from a local restaurant. We will be back with friends and family for sure.

Country setting, fine dining at its best. Fabulous meal! Gracious host and chef even came out and chatted with us. Highly recommend it for a special occasion

Incredible food, great hosts! As a vegetarian, I appreciate the ability to get something not on the menu.... Like the vegetable eggs Benedict - my absolute favorite!

We also used the team here to cater our wedding (taco bar!). Everyone loved it!

A few of us went out for a small employee dinner. We could not have asked for a nicer experience. Des and Billy were wonderful. We had crab cakes and filet. They were delicious! The lump crab meat was so plentiful and you could cut through the filet with a fork. Dessert was amazing as well! The establishment was full of history and very cozy. We will definitely be back!!

Went here for our 25th Anniversary. The food was phenomenal. We were the only ones in the restaurant because the Lions club cancelled their meeting and the service was obviously great. History lesson on the restaurant, building , chef etc. The scallops were perfect, brisket was melt in your mouth tender, shrimp and crab picatta was amazing along with the deserts. BYOB saved a few bucks and you can drink your favorite drinks that way. Keep up the great work. DO NOT PASS UP A CHANCE TO EAT HERE. You won't regret it.

UPDATE:. Three more times here and they never disappoint. Added a few new pics of Stuffed Chicken, Turkey Croquettes, and Salmon.

What a hidden gem! We had a great meal the other week, steak was cooked to perfection and the service was spectacular. We will be using FKH for future events for sure.

The owner/chef welcomed us like we were having lunch at his home, and that’s the feeling you have in this cozy intimate hidden treasure of a restaurant! Food and service is amazing, and I’m happy to work so close to here, my new favorite lunch spot! Best beef brisket sandwich!

We just found a hidden gem in Green Lane. Food was all made to order and was fantastic!!!! Service was attentive and friendly. What made our dinner special was the atmosphere, warm and cozy in a circa 1600’s building that used to be a stagecoach stop. We will definitely be back many times!!!!

Staff was very friendly. While we intended to go there for a "fancy" dinner, we learned that they do their own barbecue. We ended up ordering ribs and brisket. They were absolutely Smokey and awesome. Best barbeque I have had in a long time. We will be back. We really enjoyed our selves. FYI: it is cash only and BYOB.

Took my family here after a trip to Green Lane park and so happy I did. The dining area was charming and clean, Desiree provided us with outstanding service and the food was excellent and all made from scratch with love. We tried the smoked trout appetizer to start and it was so good even the kids couldn’t get enough. The filet was cooked to perfection, the shrimp and crab linguine was fresh and flavorful, the burger was tasty, and the salads were on point. Also recommend the flourless tort with ice cream and whipped cream, and they had several other desert options that sounded amazing. We highly recommend the Francis Kaufman house and will return. It’s worth the drive for something different. Don’t forget to byo.

I went to lunch here today with my co-worker/friend. This place is cozy, clean, and the food was amazing. Its definitely the best food in the area. The service was awesome!! It is BYOB, so if you want some spirits with your dinner you should bring a bottle with you. I will definitely be back!!

Fantastic. Proposed to my wife there 27 years ago. I live an hour away and went on a whim. We Have not dined there in 20 years. I never expected the food to be on that level. I travel often with my company and dine all over the country. I often have dinner meetings down town and their food rivals any of the center city restaurants. When the bill arrived I thought there was a mistake. We are accustomed to paying double for a meal of this quality. We will be back soon and highly recommend. Without question, worth the drive from Chester county.

Delicious Sunday brunch! had the eggs benedict over brisket!. they go beyond the typical brunch items! in addition to menu items there is a buffet that will take you from fruit to salad to dessert. We were welcomed and served as if we were family or friends. well worth the winding detour to get there.

I had dinner here this past Saturday night and it was perfect. The waitress is so friendly and the food is delicious. It's BYOB so we brought our own beer to drink with dinner. You can't go wrong with any entree you choose!
