Although this review is under my wifes name I purchased a 2011 used Toyota Highlander. The whole experience was really very good. Not pushy friendly family owned. There seem to be a good selection of used quality cars on the lot. They provided financing right away for since I lived about an hour and a half away. It was worth the drive and felt treated fairly.

It was nice to experience becausefor the last few weeks I have had multiple texts and calls from other lots and dealers whom I reached out to for info on cars. Select auto only responded once to me by text and that was a very welcome change. I would look again here in the future if I need another car. Its nice to see a father and two sons doing business together!

They went above and beyond to work with their banks to make sure I could get the exact car I wanted and did it all within a 24 hour time-span. I'm big into cars and plan to push my buddies to check out their inventory and will probably be back for another car in the future!

Quality business. Excellent service. Caring people. They have total confidence in the cars they are selling. Never felt like they were hiding something. After our purchase, Tom told us that if we didn't buy the truck, someone else would have. It's a great SUV. Totally laid back folks and absolutely no pressure from beginning to end. (The last dealership we tried we wouldn't even get out of our car, because we saw the "sharks" waiting to attack. Not the case at Select Auto.) We are already planning our next buy at this dealership. Tom even went above and beyond the day AFTER the sale to help us out. We feel like we bought a car and made new friends!
Update 3 years later: We had a problem under warranty and it wasn't going well... at all. (No fault of SAG.) We were so frustrated and had no choice but to go back Tom for help. Tom helped my husband take the next steps that eventually got the fix we needed under warranty. We were very happy Select Auto stood by us all the way to the end of our 3 year warranty! (P.S.- Tom said they don't use that company anymore, so no worries if you're buying now.)

I couldn't be happier with my new car or my experience purchasing from the guys who work at Select Auto Group. They are straightforward, kind, and reputable. The photos and description of my car was 100% accurate to the listing, the price was great, and the people were top notch. As a 6 month pregnant woman buying a car from a lot for the first time, I was a little scared at first, but Select Auto Group, you can count on the fact that my family will be looking at your listings when we need to replace any future cars.

I purchased my car from Tom and John in April and was very happy with my experience as a first time car buyer. Everything was very transparent and straight forward, much unlike other larger dealerships who are trying to play games with you. This made the process run quickly, smoothly, and was much more enjoyable than at dealers we had been to prior to Select. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns, and I did not feel like I was being pressured at all into making the purchase. John also stayed after hours on a Saturday with me, and even held the car over the weekend for me while I was waiting for my loan go through. Excellent customer service. I would highly recommend purchasing your car from Select Auto Group, and I will definitely be going back in the future.

Bought a beautiful van from this dealer! We called and spoke with John about his listing for this van that interested us, and he was willing to hold it for us while we made the 2 hour drive from home. We were nervous about making the trip, not knowing what to expect. The pictures looked fantastic, but sometimes what you see in person is not so nice. We were so pleased to arrive at this dealer and find that the van was EXACTLY as advertised and as beautiful as the pictures! It was completely detailed and ready to go, waiting for us at the front door! Once we decided to go ahead and buy, John had our paperwork ready quickly. It was also appreciated that Tom took the to show us some of the special features of the vehicle. So far, we are thrilled with our purchase! Reasonable prices for clean, quality used vehicles.

Truly a very easy car buying experience. Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt like he was trying to sell me something I didn't want. Tom didn't even scratch the surface of how a "used car dealer" would normally act. They clearly have a high standard when it comes to their inventory. The cars they had on the lot, despite the year and mileage, were some of the cleanest I had seen. All in all, this was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had and would highly recommend.

My lady and I drove 50 miles to check out a 2002 Toyota Highlander which had very low mileage. The pictures posted on Select Auto Group’s site did not do the vehicle justice; it was much cleaner and even more beautiful in person. We engaged with Tom Matteo to seal the deal. Tom’s honesty and complete openness were much appreciated. Subsequently, we are convinced that Select only purchases and sells vehicles of the highest quality. For the last ten years I bought a few cars for me and my family and my kids. Recently I bought a 2010 Lexus RX 350, which is a great care that runs like new.
I also bought a BMW 323, Lexus ES 350, Lexus ES 330, Lexus 400 etc. in the past.
When I go there I don't worry about checking them out, because I know they only have best used cars. I was very happy with all my purchases so far, and the people are very friendly, courteous and professional. They take great care in their selection of cars for sale (They always have a wonderful selection across all categories). Their prices are great, service is unsurpassed, and customer care is matchless.
I strongly recommend them to anybody who is in the market for a used car.
Generally, people say, when you buy a used car you are buying somebody else's trouble. Not here.

I had an excellent experience working with Joe Matteo in my search for a late model BMW 4 series convertible. I was an out of town buyer and I had very specific requirements in terms of style, color, condition, etc. Joe diligently checked various auctions and provided good counsel on cars to pursue and those not to pursue. We ultimately found an amazing car that I couldn't be happier with. I would also like to thank the rest of the Select Auto Group team in a great job with detailing the car and working on the financing. One has to put a lot of confidence in a person when spending serious money to buy a car without having seen it in person and I am thoroughly happy with my experience with Joe and would definitely recommend him if you are looking for something special. I'm sure we'll work together again the near future when I decide I want something different!

The guys at Select Auto Group are friendly, welcoming, and provide a relaxed atmosphere for your vehicle shopping experience. They just don’t believe in the hard sell, which was much appreciated being in sales myself, and we very forthright with all and any information I requested. I bought a mint 2009 Jeep Wrangler for a very fair price, and was equally impressed with their rather large collection from me to chose from in the Jeep family. I drove a long way to see a used truck at Select Auto Group and I'm really glad that I did. This is flat out a great dealership. The truck was as clean as advertised, the staff and ownership are really good people, and they have a lot of desirable used cars on their lot. Everyone I spoke with (Joe, John and Tom) were all super-knowledgeable, they all knew the truck , its former owner and its history - and gave me a lot of time to kick the tires with no pressure. I bought the truck, and now I'm keeping my eye on their website for a vehicle for my significant other. I can't recommend Select Auto Group highly enough. Five stars.

Tom and John were great. I recently bought a used Toyota Tundra from them and have been very happy with my purchase. Tom's knowledge of and experience with Toyota trucks was clearly apparent and both John and Tom were straightforward and helpful. I never felt any pressure. I just bought a 2014 Silverado from Tom and I am more than happy with it. It’s in great shape with low miles. My wife and I have now purchased 3 vehicle from Select Auto. They are great people and they always have very nice cars. Their prices are very reasonable and because they are great with customer service they will always get our business. We will be back to replace my wife’s car in the near future.
