I have recently had a few great shopping experiences at this location. I would like to personally thank Jeffery, who works in the shoe department, for his patience and knowledge about the footware the store sells/carries. Jeffery was very friendly and cared about what I needed.

Staff is kind and welcoming. Rock was very knowledgeable and did a great job helping me out with my bike and teaching me a few things.

I always go to this REI. There's a great selection and the staff is really helpful.

What finally got me to write a review is that I came in with some mountaineering boots that I had bought online and that did not seem to fit me well. After I'd already returned them, I ended up talking with one of the boot fitting guys, Erik, and he helped me deal with adjusting them properly and even how to mold the boots themselves to my foot (I wear US size 14 so it is quite difficult for me to find boots). Seriously, this guy helped me out for over 30 min. Thanks Erik!!

Ask for Riley in shoes she is very helpful. She helped me find my new pair of hiking boots. Excited to put many miles on them. She was patient detail oriented very knowledgeable and kind. A great place to shop.

Went to this location today with my daughter and we received outstanding assistance from Rylee. She was showing us items in store and checking availability online. She made this shopping experience much easier.

I shop at REI pretty regularly and love the “garage sale” that is always present at this store. I worked with Aubrey last night who was great and helped me find a matching top to the base layers I found for my child.

Aubrey does a great job I’ve seen her there a few times and enjoy speaking with her.

I like this store in general as they sometimes carry the larger plus women’s sizes.

My only issue with the used/outlet gear is pricing. The base layers I got were smartwool. The pants were priced at $9.83, but some of the same exact pants (literally size and color) were $25.83, and around $15. The shirt was $23/25. I purchased two pairs of socks (exact same brand/style/size) that were returned at the same time by the same cashier. They were priced $10 apart.

The folks on that side do what they can within the policy to amend issues but it shouldn’t be be an issue. Additionally items that were outlet items on that side were literally cheaper brand new on the website (which we are allowed to return for issues unlike garage items).

I worked/managed for REI for 5+ yrs I have direct experience in knowing these are issues easily remedied..

REI is a store centered on co-op and all about the outdoors. The people working there have always been helpful, courteous and overall interested in the customer experience. This store in Conshohocken was no different. In short, out riding the SRT and my emergency tire repair did not take. A quick check for nearby stores and a 4-5 mile bike walk later, Curtis (bike tech) took me right in and got right on task no questions asked! Pleasant to meet and so thankful for his generous time and knowledge. He got the situation repaired and a few more tweaks on my brakes for the road! I can't thank him, or REI enough for getting me back to the ride. It seriously avoided another 8 mile hike back to my car. Exercise is good, i just prefer riding my bike! Definitely recommend REI Conshy, and definitely Curtis in the repair shop. Way knowledgeable and a super nice guy. I'm a member at REI and a full supporter of these stores. Be sure to visit Conshohocken for your bike service, you will not be disappointed!! Cheers!

Always a great experience. I've never had any bad experiences at this or any other REI location. The employees here are super knowledgeable, eager to help, and all around nice people. I'm disappointed that the Used Store had to close, but that wasn't an REI issue! :)

As always, the store is filled with multiple varieties of outdoor gear. Greg, over by the tents and camp cots was very helpful.

Came here with my wife to buy climbing shoes and gear. An employee named Cecelia was knowledgeable and helpful. She spent extra time helping us. You can tell that she is passionate about climbing and getting people in the right gear. All the other employees we talked to were also nice.

Have been an REI member for years. It is a must for any active, outdoor person. Equipment selection is extensive, staff is very knowledgeable and member discounts and rebate are great! The addition of a full time 'garage sale' with big discounts on used equipment is wonderful. I purchased my last few pairs of running shoes and a brand new pair of cross country ski boots at 25-50% off retail price. REI is also great handling any returns.

Wonderful experience. Eric helped me identify my issues with getting my pack to fit properly (even though it means I need to replace the one I have), had a great discussion with another sales person and everyone else was super friendly without being pushy. Loved seeing diverse employees too. Representation matters and this store is doing it well.

Always friendly staff and they're experts about the equipment. Shoe/sneaker department knows the products and will seriously fit you for your activities. Their shop can give great service to your bike or skis. They also have a Re/Supply store here - that's where returned items go for resale - the pricing is all over the place though.

Great customer service .. I bought a bike online , the bike manager (wish I remembered his name) called and said bike was going on sale Friday for $300 cheaper .. when I came to pickup the bike they adjusted my order and honored the sale price

Went here to get my snowboard fixed. The guys in the shop were PHENOMENAL! Donovan talked me through the entire repair process making sure I understood what parts I needed and why. Then Curtis worked some fantastic magic to rebuild my broken bindings using various parts from other boards. His hard work, creative brain and engineering skills saved me hundreds of dollars on new bindings and my board looks great! Highly recommend going to see Donovan, Curtis and Rock who all helped me at REI!

I called Customer Service to see if certain locations had a product I needed. Kyra was amazing. It was close to closing time, and yet she was so cheerful and helpful. It really set REI and their employees apart. I love this company!! Plus the location and its store are great! Highly recommend.

REI has the best staff! As a memeber you can return gear up to a year. I always shop at REI especially for my running and backpacking needs.

I went to REI to get a cargo box the gentleman Will was so kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. Even helped me install as I had my 1 year old son with me..he told me everything i needed to know and even suggestions..If I need anything else I will definitely be going back to them.
